The absolute best service! I came in with a wild chain issue regarding my new ebike, and the folks here solved the issue with a smile. I'm not an experienced cyclist and felt pretty dumb, but there wasn't a hint of condescension or anything; just genuine people who wanted to help. Thanks, guys!

I came here because my daughter had to go potty and no other store was willing to let her use their restroom. The staff here was so friendly and had no problem letting us use their restroom. Very kind people and clean shop! Will definitely come back for any bike needs.

Absolutely amazing people and products! Ordered an Aventon Ramblas eMTB and got a flat my first day out ? they replaced the tube for free! Many other places would have charged for the tube and repair, but not these guys and gals!
I will for sure be returning for all of my bicycle needs and service ?
Super cool, helpful, and chill employees!

My son brought his bike in for a complete tune up. He told them his back tire wasn’t holing air. He got it back and had to push it a couple miles home from work because his back tire was flat. We looked and it was the same tube we had put a patch on. He called and they never retuned his call. Great service!

Great place took my old bike and replaced all the rusted cables tuned it up and got it back on the trail again, they also spent 10-20 minutes with my son telling him about mountain bikes and what to look for. Definitely recommend them for anything bicycle related.

The absolute, best bike shop ive EVER been to. Honestly! They are truly are the nicest, most knowledgeable bicycle dudes in WA state (maybe even the world?). I highly recommend you stop by if shopping for a mid-high end bicycle!!!!!

The people at this shop are wonderful! They helped me in a pinch after my bike chain broke off while I was riding on the trail behind their shop. They were so accommodating and completely fixed a stressful situation for me.

Love Peter and the crew at NW Bicycle. They've worked on three of my bikes, and I've always found them to be very fair price wise.
I also appreciate how they never talk down to me or made me feel embarrassed even when they're correcting some of my more questionable attempts at doing my own repairs.

NOT FAT-TIRE FRIENDLY!
This place used to be awesome. Not sure who the repair tech was a few years ago when I last got service from this shop, but he was awesome, knew what he was doing, and didn't have issues working on my fat-tire bike and parts. Where'd that guy go?
I recently took in fat-tire rims which needed new spokes and trued, and also had new tire liners, tubes, and tires that I'd asked for them to install while they were working on the rims.
For some reason, they couldn't get the new tires to seat properly on the rims. What's worse is I had to point it out to them when I went in to pick up my rims the first time. I then left it there so the shop could make it right. After another 2 weeks they sent a text that it was complete and ready for pickup. When I get into the shop to pick them up for the 2nd time, I was literally told "they should be seated correctly now" as they were brought out to me. One quick look at them and you could easily tell that the tires weren't seated correctly.
I pointed this out to the tech who told me that's the best he can do and got the basic impression that he was done spending time on them and essentially giving up.. OK, you can't complete the work, I get it.. But don't tell me its done so when I arrive I'm expecting to pick up a completed work order and then find out its not when I get there. At least call and tell me you couldn't complete the work so I know what to expect.
Once I had them home and started looking closer, I noticed the tire liner installation was totally messed up, hanging all the way to one side of the tire or the other.. Like they totally messed up the installation so badly that I had to redo this on both wheels. Once I redid the liners and put the tires back on the rims, I had them re-seated correctly on the rims pretty easily. This is coming from someone with a limited skillset, so why a professional bike shop had so many issues with this is beyond me. Maybe I should open my own bike repair shop.
The people have always seemed friendly enough, but the quality of work is very poor to the point where I will not be returning.
EDIT: Their reply below does not explain their inability to perform the service work correctly, as the existing damage did not affect mounting the tires or installing tire liners. I also asked them to source new rim options but they never provided any valid recommendations. They are just using that as an excuse!

My son who has some special needs has an older bike that he rides to work. Unfortunately he has to ride a bike to get around as he cannot drive. Every now and then he does get a flat and this place is the closest place he can get to and have it fixed. He always gets an earful when he comes in because his bike is older and “not worth fixing” however he cannot afford a nicer bike like the ones sold in the store.A couple days ago my son was in an accident with a moving car on his way home from work while on his bike and he went over the hood of a car and he now needed a new back tire. He didn’t even make it in the front door before the owner told him to not even bother to come in. I am baffled that people get treated such a way because they can’t afford newer things. My son still pays for the “older tire” and the install any time he’s went in there and it’s not cheap. I grew up in this town and I am sad that MV has turned into this type of place where if you don’t have nice things we’ll then you are not welcome.
