Superb medical care by Dr Mata and staff.

My entire family (immediate and extended) had been patients here for 30+ years. It used to be that our PCPs and the office staff actually knew us. When we had an urgent need, they always got us in immediately to be seen. When Western Washington Medical Group took over, the former excellent care began to deteriorate. My long-time provider actually suddenly left the practice and nobody thought to tell me or any of her other patients. To make matters worse, everyone was very tight-lipped about WHY and WHERE she went. At one point, the walk-in clinic AND the lab completely closed and, again, the patients were not notified. Now, every time I call SFMC/WWMG, I'm either immediately routed to voice mail or put on perpetual hold, being forced to listen to a short loop of the most awful "music" you've ever heard. Meanwhile, my blood pressure is rising! When I finally am able to speak with a live person, their attitude is that they are doing me the biggest favor. The front desk people are aloof and borderline rude. Just to get authorization for a prescription refill or the results of my lab tests takes many days to a full week. Sadly, since the pandemic, everything from their customer service to the medical care has become so abysmal that I am now actively searching for a new medical clinic.

Dr. Mata is very good - he explains things, answers questions, engages with you on things of concern. Very prompt with getting prescriptions into the pharmacy, etc.

Dr Jose Mata is a fantastic family Doctor. He always listens and explains every option to you. He has taken wonderful care of my husband and myself. Dr Mata takes his time to thoroughly understand all your medical needs from physical to emotional. The nurses are always cheerful and very kind.I highly recommend Dr Jose Mata.

Snohomish Family Medicine's billing process uses a robo call as their final notice before selling your bill to collections. And watch out. The company they have chosen to partner with quickly ramps up the costs 400% or more. I don't like dealing with a company that is faceless and unable to make a phone call to see why the mail pipeline has failed. (In my case I moved and my mail forwarding service failed). I will no longer do business with this company.

For eight years I have relied on Dr. Eckley and the staff at Snohomish Family Medicine. Dr. Eckley relates to me holistically and I feel genuinely seen and heard during appointments. 5 stars all around.

I feel secure with the care given and helpful in the advice given to me as a patient providing me the tools to achieve being a healthier patient, my words fall short but I am impressed with the medical treatment Snohomish Family Medial has provided me.. They provide me and our communiity medical care scond to none.

Love my sons doctor and his team which is the reason for the stars, took one off for the office staff honestly is hit or miss with them on any given day. I have had some really sweet interactions when figuring out my sons medications and then other times have someone seem very annoyed by my existence. I have worked in office environments and customer service so I genuinely try not to be annoying but sometimes I have questions. It has been a crazy few years for everyone and I don't really want to be dealing with you all either but this is life.

Denise is extremely unprofessional and rude, I would never in my life recommend ANYONE to come here.My family and I made an appt for friday @4pm for a TB test.We arrived early as asked and paid the fees as asked.While we were waiting to be seen, Denise, a RNA with suppressed trauma, who has 0 patience, and loves to argue, comes out to tell us she recommends us to go to a different facility to get bloodwork done because “its more accurate”I kindly declined the suggestion since we took a day off of work to be there. Her next excuse was “Let me double check to make sure we have the solution”Immediately I knew something was up. Why is she trying so hard to sell us on bloodwork? Turns out, they goofed and dont have the solution, even though they allowed us to make an appt and charged us for it.When I asked her to be honest with us, why she was trying to get us to do bloodwork instead of the skin injection, she got very defensive!!! She said “your not special sir” and when we asked for the manager she stormed off “shes going to tell u exactly what i just said but its fine”I just want accountability. She is bad at lying, and immediately got defensive and rude when I called her out. She seemed like she wanted to fight me.Terrible experience, I couldnt imagine having an employee treating my clients like that.two thimbs down. get it together lady. ??
