Pet Sitting & Training
A Canine Experience
18208 67th Ave SE, SnohomishI did day training and group classes for the past few months with my shy newly rescued pup. He made huge strides behaviorally and with his confidence from the training, even though I admittedly didn't do as much at-home practice as I should have. He loves all of the trainers and going to ACE. Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and I could tell immediately that they are true dog people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ACE or to come back for more classes or boarding. Thank you!

Lucky Dog Resort
19517 113th St SE, Snohomish**Edited to higher stars not pull down their high average rating as we did not have our dogs stay here - it does look like folks have had good experience, just want to share info for the folks with mixed breed pups**Super prompt in returning my call and appreciated the owners being upfront about their rules. However, am sad this place turns away mixed breed dogs if they "look pitty". Obviously their home/biz/choice, but as a dog mom to 4 rescues, including two mixes with who knows what, I think these breed discrimination practices are a bit outdated and harmful to the rescue dog community. Also think folks should be aware if looking to book with them.

MINDFUL ADVENTURE DOG ACADEMY LLC
SE 322nd Street, AuburnMy dog Zuko is a three year old American Akita who was enrolled in Ms. Jee’s behavior modification/ aggression rehab. Zuko’s a proud dog who was not friendly to both human and dog strangers. As a family this made us struggle to figure out how to properly train him and handle his aggressive behavior. When looking for a trainer for Zuko we knew from our first interaction with Ms. Jee that she was the right trainer for him. Ms. Jee was very professional and thorough with Zuko’s training and our training as well. The quality of her lessons and training can be seen on how Zuko behaves today. From a dog that would bark and jump at anything he laid eyes on, to a dog that we were able to walk with other dogs by the last session is just a testament of the ability Ms. Jee has as a trainer. Our experience overall has been excellent and we hope to continue to work with Ms. Jee in the future.

Haywire Brewing Co
738 Rainier St, SnohomishWe stopped by at the suggestion of friends. It was too cold to sit outside but they have a large outdoor seating area. Inside there were tons of tables, pretty full on a Sunday. Our friends led us to the adults only area, entering through a hidden doorway, which is right up my alley. We enjoyed quite a few drinks in there, very low key. This is a good spot to hang out and grab drinks! We'll be back!

Doc's Riverside Taphouse
1423 S Machias Rd, SnohomishGreat little watering hole and seats you close to the river outside. The atmosphere was a bit lacking of a welcoming one. I felt like a cowboy riding through an unknown town, being judged and almost as if I was bothering peeps by coming in. Weird, but other than that I ate, drank, chatted with a friend and it warmed up after a bit that's it. Check it out though if ya thirsty and need a break from the beaten path. Maybe they will greet you more warmly lol
Parking: Unless you don't mind parking way up river come during off peak and you should be good

Uptown Wine and Beer
122 Ave A #2, SnohomishThe moment you enter you are greeted by their Customer service specialist "Vino" who will happily give you all the attention you want in exchange for some pets. He is the perfect winery dog, who loves those who love him but won't bug you too much if you don't want it. (But who wouldn't want it) We were actually were on a hunt for beer so it was a nice surprise that they had some on draft in addition to their wine selection. We had a few of their lighter and fruitier beers which were good. The hefiwizen was bright and citrusy but the blond was a bit dull with not much complexity. (Though I suppose people don't look for complexity when they go with light beers). The atmosphere (including the dog) was the main highlight. The warm lighting, comfortable seats and welcoming staff made us feel at home. The cost was a bit on the high side compared to nearby breweries. That being said, you are paying for the atmosphere too so sometimes it's worth a few extra dollars. Overall a nice place that was just what we were looking for on a rainy day but could have been a little bit more bang for your buck.

Sound To Summit Brewing
1830 Bickford Ave #111, SnohomishMy 3rd time here. Great food every time. Great service, and atmosphere. If I have one complaint, it's that they don't have any specialty soda's for the non alcohol drinkers. For instance something like Henry weinhard root beer. Or a Thomas Kemper brand. And these are just a few. That would make it perfect for me.

Heidi‘s Sandwichboard
1206 1st St, SnohomishWe been wanting to try this place due to all the positive reviews. Wow! Lovely sandwiches.
We went on a busy Saturday afternoon and had to wait a little more due to a packed house.
The staff were courteous. Loved the ambience and the atmosphere.
Being fans of warm sandwiches, We ordered the super dooper, philly cheese steak and French dip.
The super dooper tops the list. We would definitely visit this place to try the other ones on the menu. I liked the regular coffee too.
Since this place is in downtown, parking will be difficult to get.

C and G German Import Rottweilers
9209 156th St SE, SnohomishCompletely wanted to avoid those infamous puppy mills and wanted to ensure we found an exceptional breeder who worked tirelessly to attain a very healthy bloodline in his dogs. We found that in Craig. He was wonderful in handling our interests in purchasing a new pup. He was very responsive calling me back in a few hours after sending the message I left on C&G's website. We talked for a good amount of time, but it surely didn't feel like it. I could tell he truly loved his dogs sharing some his stories and experiences in competition and providing a very thorough explanation on the bloodline and health for his dogs. Throughout our discussion, I felt at ease and tried to absorb as much of the information he shared. By the end of our phone call, I felt a connection with Craig; he had won over my trust. At that time, my wife and I were hopeful that there would be a pup available. There was! Craig was flexible enough to schedule a visit to drop by and see the pup the very next day. We actually got more than we bargained for as he brought us to his kennel introducing us to the last two remaining pups, their mom (Ferrari), and aunt (Destiny). Both female dogs came up to us like gentle teddy bears and couldn't get enough petting from the both us! We also met his dad, Titan...he was huge! All of his dogs are just outstanding looking German Rottweilers! We are truly happy with our new pup who we named Tonka...like the truck. :) My wife is soooo happy to have her own pup; she had been waiting for over 10 years. Thank you Craig for all your help and coaching...we truly cannot thank you enough for the joy you have brought into our lives!!
