We stop here whenever we can. Feels good to spend money locally vs. at a bigger box store and they have a very wide selection. Helpful employees, too.

Fan greeted me as soon as I got to the front of the store very friendly helpful and knowledgeable about the flowers out side. Upon entering the store the staff was very friendly as well and helpful. Wish every store treated their customers like they do. Great Job Mcdaniels!

The majority of your home improvements needs can be met here!! It's a smaller atmosphere with more helpful employees who are easy to find and help me with my needs. Love this place.

I took in a chain to sharpen for my saw. When I picked it up, Tim came out to explain the reason it took a little longer as some of the links were "corroded" and did not move as they should so he soaked it in mineral oil for a few days before sharpening. I really appreciated the attention to detail and Tim coming out in person to talk with me. Great customer service! Thank you4/24/2024 - We spoke to Nicole today..she's only been there a week but provided the same customer care we have experienced over the years. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Absolutely amazing hardware store in the classic sense. They have an amazing selection of- including the best “nuts and bolts” section on the planet - and nice people that know what they’re talking about. Their plant selection is great, and the plants are actually healthy and vibrant. Highly recommended!

McDaniels is one of the best stores I have ever been to. You don't see a lot of good quality customer service anymore, but McDaniels always has exceptional service and most always has the things I'm looking for. If you need help, there are plenty of employees who will be happy to help you, and who are all super friendly. All of their employees are very knowledgeable about different areas whether it be plumbing, paint, or nuts n bolts. If there's not a certain item you're looking for, they can order you that item, and it usually arrives pretty quickly. The Mcdaniel rewards system is also very good, you get rewards cards mailed to you for you to use whenever you come to the store. I have never had a disappointing experience at McDaniels, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area. It is definitely a better choice than any of the other hardware stores around.

Good little everything store. Stihl brand dealer so that's great, easier to find your nuts and bolts here than the big boys, a little of everything, maybe a little higher priced on some things but very convenient

In my effort to exchange an item\ without a receipt, I asked prior to shopping and was verbally approved to do so, Once I had my new purchases I was denied the exchange. Frustrated that a small business would not accept an exchange of an unused new item that they do carry and was purchased by me..

This store feels like home. Specifically my grandparents love it and go there often, especially in the summer. The staff is kind and helpful. Also, the store is clean, organized and has a good variety of items.

This is a general hardware store where you can get all the things you need. Always find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price of compared to places like home Depot and Lowe's. They also have quality products, large hardware section for screws and bolts and nuts.
