She is extremely thorough, efficient, promptly responds to all communications, and is a true personal banker that works tirelessly with you to meet your banking needs. I had issues with this branch in the past, but what happened today tops everything. I went to the drive through around 4:10 PM today and tried to withdraw $850 from my checking account. Told the teller, I need 7-100's and the rest 20's or 10's. She gave me my money in a sealed envelope and thank God, before I drove away, I counted the money in front of her. Because instead of the $850, she gave me only $450. 3 100's, 5 20's and 5 10's, totaling $450. I am truly upset about this, as I feel, she tried to cheat me out from my little social security, as I am a low income senior citizen.I might understand a mistake, maybe for $20, but $400??? I believe, it was intentional, hoping I just drive away without counting it.I am a long time customer of this bank and never had issues with the other branch in Sultan, but this branch has major issues. All I can say, people, make sure you count your money if cashing a check, because you might get the same experience as I got today.

So, I am about to be a former client of Bluevine Bank. What does that have to do with Coastal Community Bank. Plenty. Bank account services provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC. I deposit a check and get told the first time it might take 1 to 4 days to clear. Four is long, but OK, Maybe they need to establish a pattern for my deposits. I deposit a second check and now it will take SIX days according to their chat! We're in the age of everything instant and a bank wants to take SIX DAYS to clear a $250 check. Unbelievable. I called Coastal and they say it is not them doing the banking. Really? "Bank account services provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC." If it isn't, then management is completely incompetent and should NOT be running a bank, period.

I wish I could give a zero rating for this branch. I am a long time customer and usually I don't have problem with other branches, but this branch has a problem. Teller turnover is high and sometimes they are very rude. Today what happened to me tops everything. I tried to withdraw $450 from my checking account, signed my check in front, gave the teller(a blond woman)my I.D. as usual. She is studying my I.D. and my check for several minutes, than she gives me back my check and says, I need to sign it on the back, too. I signed it, but told her, why did she asked me that as it was the first time someone asked me to sign my own check twice? Also, I wasn't trying to withdraw thousands of dollars, only $450. Her reply was, because she is new and trying to cover her back??? I asked her, do I look suspicious, as nobody ever did this before and it made me very very upset. She told me, next time, she doesn't need my I.D. as now she knows who I am and will remember, but she will ask me again to sign my check twice again. This is unbeliavable, it might drive me away from this bank and I will join a different one. I always try to support my local businesses, but if they treat their customers like dirt, people will leave them.

Everyone at Coastal is fantastic. A big shout out to everyone involved in the PPP process. I had heard so many horror stories about the PPP application process with other banks. When I finally applied, the entire process was very easy. I'm glad I have my personal and business accounts with Coastal. I mostly go to the Marysville and Snohomish branches and they are wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them for all your banking needs.

After dealing with repeated fraud for multiple accounts at BECU, Melissa set up accounts for me so easily over secure email. The Snohomish branch was so nice when they called to find out when I was coming by to sign papers and was ready for me when I came (drive thru only due to COVID) so I had a debit card and accounts finalized in less than 10 minutes. Mobile deposits are quick and easy, friendly staff, and supporting local. We are highly considering changing our small business banking as well. Thank you Coastal!

Costal Community Bank was the best decision we made for our accounts. Melissa H. at the Snohomish branch makes opening an account very simple. They also helped with PPP loan. Highly recommended for local finance, investment and banking.

WOW, that about sums it up right? Let me explain. After many years of business banking at another bank I found my small businesses in need of help with PPP (due to covid 19). After being told (by a wonderful person whom I dearly appreciate) my current bank was not even any longer accepting applications for this program and that I was behind approximately 8000 others I found myself feeling underappreciated to say the least. I heard from a friend that I should call Coastal. In the middle of this craziness I was able to get through to the manager of the Snohomish branch and things were handled within 24 hours with the utmost importance and professionalism. I simply can't say enough about this bank at the moment. I'm thankful for the exceptional customer service. Looking forward to moving my business to this bank. Thanks ladies! Highly recommended

First off, I will say that they are friendly. But I have had nothing but problems with their depositing money, being closed on weekends and strict guidelines for any other financial needs. They have obnoxious restrictions regarding Zelle too!

I've known Melissa Hemrich, Business Development Officer, for several years now. Coastal is a community bank and Melissa exemplifies "community" on so many levels. She's very well-educated in her field and is highly involved in business, social and charitable causes in Snohomish County. Melissa has her finger on the pulse of the events and needs of the community and should be considered the 'go to girl' with community and banking questions and needs.

Love the Snohomish branch, It is my main branch for all my banking. These guys are great for business and personal needs. They are all so friendly every time I go there, they always treat me and feel like family. Thanks for making going to the bank a lot less of a dread.
