I have been going to 1st Stop Auto Performance for over 8 years, and refuse to take my vehicles anywhere else... I am not locally close (in miles) to Don's shop, but he has been and done great things for my vehicles. It is so hard to find a mechanic of integrity, who truly cares about his customers! He doesn't try to sell you extra parts or services that you don't need, and because the relationships he builds with his customers come first, you see this right away. He's knowledgeable, he's thorough and his mechanical skills speak for themselves. He has always made sure that I understand what is happening, what is needed and why, before he ever touches my cars. And, 'any' mechanic who can merely 'listen' to how a car sounds that won't start and tells me exactly 'what' to do while on the phone with me, and it cranks right up, is my mechanic for LIFE! Thanks for keeping my Belle in shape, Don!? And the SuZu, too!

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and had been taking my car regularly to Raridon's Jeep in both Kirkland and Monroe for the past couple years for repairs, and found the service I was getting there at the dealer was not only poor and overrated, but unprofessional, and far too expensive compared to what they claimed they did. When I learned of Don @ 1st Stop Performance from a friend, I was unsure what to expect but went to him based on a solid referral. After bringing my car in there not only I was happy with the service, but Don the owner was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helped walk me all the way through what my car needed. He is a really good guy and knows his cars, and the work he did on my car was far superior than what than the dealer had tried to fix on my car. Don had to fix an air suspension issue that the dealer tried 3 times and was unable to ever get fixed. Don had it fixed in a day, and it has worked perfect ever since. I have taken my other car since as well, and the experience there has always been positive and helpful every time. Go see Don @ 1st Stop and be thankful you did.

Don and his brother are LEGENDS. Was trying to get an issue with my battery/headlights diagnosed and every other shop I called (roughly 13) were asking $150+ just to look at it and were scheduling 2-3 weeks out. After calling first stop auto, I swung by about 30 minutes later and don walked me through various causes/possible solutions. It’s very rare to find a shop that truly cares about its customers and takes the time to explain to the customer what the problem is. I will be returning and suggest this shop to anyone and everyone!!

Drive-inn Great Food burgers. fish sandwich is unmatched. Best Banana shake ive ever tasted. Best Tarter sauce around too, i buy it by the pint to take home. Fast service im Droolin just thinkin bout it. In fact Im goin there now bye.

Places like this hardly exist anymore. Dependable, conscientious, good prices, knowledgeable and methodical. Don and Jeremy really know what they are doing. It is no wonder they have loyal customers. I met Don Hayes nearly 15 years ago, and simply go nowhere else now.

If you want to talk to the owner/mechanic that will work on your car, this is the place. It's a small shop with a very nice owner, Don, who truly tries to help fix your car issues and save you money, too. It's such a refreshing change from going to an overpriced car dealership and talking with the service advisor who is all too happy to suggest expensive work that "needs" to be done (perhaps on commission??). I've been a happy customer of First Stop for more than 3 years now and I highly recommend them.
