“I highly recommend the Cascadia Inn if you're looking for simple and affordable accomodation. I stayed in the Euro queen room with the bathroom down the hall. The bathroom area was clean, showers were hot with good water pressure. No TV, but there is wifi and a table in the room which was great for working. Also convenient was a communal fridge to store some food overnight. The host Henry was very nice, he let me check in a bit early, and shared tips to avoid traffic. The walls might be a bit thin, I could faintly hear someone snore in another room, but that didn't bother me as there weren't many guests staying at the same time as me. If you need a place to get lunch, there is a delicious Lao food truck in Gold Bar called Zaap Der (best meal I had all week)”
