Sammy is amazing, great guy. I watched him save a kitten that was in the tree in front of the store.

Not open 24 hours as advertised. I will update when I get a photo of store hours. Ive only been in the area 3 weeks so I can't really speak on long term customer service. The service I've had here during that 3 weeks has been good.

Love Unko's in there. Gas station won't let customers use the restroom.

My boyfriend and I decided to try Unko's Kitchen for the first time today for lunch and we are SO happy that we did. Amazing and helpful service, showed my boyfriend what he could get and some popular options while also ensuring us that the food would be cooked fresh. Wait time was maybe fifteen minutes, if that. He got the mochiko chicken and I got teriyaki beef. We loved both!

The food, delicious, the service well, it's pick up an go, so perfect! And the Ambiance, well, it is in the back of a gas station, but it is clean, and well managed and what more do you want for food you grab and go? The serving amounts are big too, so you get your money's worth!

I ordered from doordash a while back, the foood is so good! I tried the Mochiko chicken and the spam masubis. I'd want to check out the location next time when I am in the area. Highly recommend!

I eat here almost every week. The food is fresh, the masubis are hot, and short ribs are the best, and the Mac salad I would highly recommend. Best Hawaiian food sport in the greater kitsap area. Haven't found a place better and I've tried all the other spots. Unkos is by far the best.

Highest recommendation for Unko's! Best Hawaiian food I've ever had and I've had a LOT. I was expecting it to be excellent but it definitely surpassed my expectations. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious. We ordered the Mochiko chicken, short ribs and teriyaki chicken which came with two scoops of rice and one scoop of mac salad, large portions. All of it made fresh so be patient, it's worth the wait. Can't say enough about the service! So kind and helpful. Everything on the menu sounded amazing so they helped us decide. They made sure everything was correct on the order, while keeping everything clean, taking online orders and restocking what was needed, in tight quarters, which is impressive. The area is small but made you feel like you ordering from a well know local spot on the beach in Hawaii. This place certainly does not disappoint and should not be passed up. Whether you live in the area or are just visiting this is a MUST try! My sister tagged along who lives in Bremerton and will be coming back and telling everyone about this hidden gem!

Finally got to try the food here! My family enjoyed it and we thought it was tasty however we received nugget pieces of the mochiko chicken and not big pieces like were pictured from other people. Not sure if that was all that was left from the day since I did do a pickup at 7:20pm. We also ordered the short ribs which were yum but the mac salad was too peppery for our taste that my kids didn't eat it and they love mac salad. They were out of a lot of items by the time I placed my order around 4pm. We'll be back to try other dishes but maybe I'll order around lunchtime. Here's a pic of what was left... my family was so hungry and couldn't get a before picture.

This place is bomb. I was watching an episode of evening magazine one day where they highlighted this restaurant inside a gas station. It's unique location definitely peaked my interest. I love Hawaiian food so I knew I had to go in the next time I was in the area. I ordered the sushi bake, manapua, spam musubi and pordagee musubi. I loved everything. Especially the sushi bake. And they gave a little packet of crispy seaweed to really complete the dish. They were soooooo friendly ! I really enjoyed chatting with the staff. It took about 20 minutes for my food as they make the sushi bake to order. I really wanted to try their mochiko chicken and pork dishes but they were sold out of a lot of their popular dishes. Guess I'll just have to keep going back lol. This will be a mandatory stop every time I'm in the area.

The portion size is awesome for what you pay for. $12 for Mochiko chicken. $7 for furikake fries. EVERYTHING is made fresh. The food was good, and tasted just like home. I was a bit disappointed in the furikake fries not enough furikake or sauce but they were hot and crispy so that was a plus. Nice lil pick up spot and portion.

KING5 Evening had been featuring unique Kitsap County businesses located inside gas stations on their local show. Definitely, I had bookmarked Unko's Kitchen because I enjoy Hawaiian style plate lunches. Occasionally, I have to get my fix because I miss my visits to Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island. Reminds me of early childhood living on Oahu. And you know, sometimes one needs a carb laden two or three scoops steamed rice, one scoop mac salad and a well marinated or grilled protein. Seriously IYKYK.After spending time visiting with a relative in Bremerton, I had to get something substantial to eat before catching a Kingston ferry back to Edmonds. Thank goodness for gps, I was able to locate Unko's Kitchen off the Ridgetop exit on Hwy 303 inside the Shell gas station mini mart. They have a handy website that allows you to check availability and order online, but with my first visit on 7/9/22 I wanted to order onsite. Definitely popular since there were two parties ahead of me and three after. I thought I visited from faraway Shoreline. Nah, the woman ahead of me handed a huge takeout bag was from Mill Creek!Friendly aloha spirit and treated like ohana when placing my order at the counter. I selected special of the day, Shoyu Chicken ($11). Note: there is extra charge for a sturdy plastic takeout bag and compostable utensils. The kind counter person also started a stamp card for me, buy 10 entrees, get a free one!My takeout entree was generous - easily could feed two people! Two large tender fall of the bone chicken thighs atop three scoops of steamed rice and one scoop of mac salad. I also opted for shoyu sauce to be added to the rice. Omg, the scent coming from the takeout box as I drove from Silverdale to Kingston. I was starving bordering on hangry, especially after the Sounders lost to the Timbers 0-3, I digress. I was lucky to have time to dig in while waiting in the ferry boarding area. I had to balance the takeout box carefully because it was compostable style - the sauced rice made the container a bit precarious. This was one time I wished I had some non Earth friendly, sturdy styrofoam. Didn't matter because with my compostable wooden utensils, I happily dined and managed not to wear my tasty food. I resisted the temptation of adding on and having two fisted musubis. Definitely eyes bigger than my stomach!A lot cheaper than airfare, lodging, and rental car to get such a generous, delicious plate lunch. I had the warm sunshine that late afternoon, just needed to feel some breeze, warm sand in my slippahs, and crack open a cold one to complete my island mindset.Sometimes you just have to whoop it up and indulge in hella good ono grindz! Genuinely broke da mouth tasty. A terrific find! Mahalo Unko's Kitchen!

No hot food, 10 bucks for old frozen fried chicken in the fridge, loud ads on the gas pumps that you have to listen to. This used to be an awesome gas station and now ill drive to am pm, sad
