Came in to consign a few totes and the process was less than pleasant. She doesn’t take totes because “I can’t ensure you’ll get the tote back”… first red flag. Like… if you lose my totes, what else do you not keep track of? ??♀️. I then asked her to explain the process in which everything goes in trash bags with your name on it… and they don’t go thru it while you shop like the website says. Then the lady grabbed a clipboard and told me to read and sign, no thanks! If you can’t take time with me to help me thru your process, then I’ll take my clothes elsewhere or sell them online myself.I’ll be going to Bella Luna in Bremerton to see if they do a much more clean and trustworthy job. Thanx

Oh my gosh this place is a lifesaver. I have to go to an event today and they were the nicest. Stacy was so helpful and really was the encouragement that I needed to find something in a pinch. I'm not a confident person with fashion but they made my life so easy. Thank you!!!

I was in a mini panic needing an outfit for tonight. And I am not a fashion icon whatsoever. It was so nice for both the ladies to help me find something and just be a positive encouragement while I was stressed looking for something quick. Thank you Stacy and I didn't get your name for the other lovely angel that was working. This was the most stress free shopping I have ever had in my life.

I wanted to like and trust this place. But I don't. I found out my neighbor had the same experience; You never see what you have earned, and if you ask, they don't know. They'll throw a few bucks your way, it's a joke. The whole operation is sketchy.I know the owner will respond very defensively. She never responded to my requests. And I'm done complaining.Just beware people.

If you’re looking to consign your things here, I’d beware…? I went to drop off several bags of clothes here about a month ago. Many were brand new with tags, including a brand new pair of Sorel leather boots. I tried emailing them prior to dropping clothes off to explain this was a domestic violence situation and that I was moving but I never received any communication back. My daughter and I showed up with 3 bags and were told by the girl at the front desk the rules were “one bag per month.” She wasn’t particularly friendly, either. The bag limit was NOWHERE on their website. I gave them one bag, received no receipt of any kind which sort of made me nervous, but thought maybe they would email or mail me one. They didn’t. Was told “checks go out on the 15th each month.” I live 45 minutes away from the Silverdale store, so I’ve been trying to call to see if anything sold for a week now but you cannot reach them by phone either. A recorded message comes on and doesn’t allow for voicemail to be left. I’ve tried calling over TWENTY times at all hours of the day, no human ever picks up the phone. Will never again drop off items at this store. Just pathetic service all around. It would appear they’re in it to make a profit off of peoples items and not much else. Seriously, take your stuff somewhere else. ??♀️?

This consignment shop has always been so fun to shop at. At first, we came for the pups that the owners have. And my kids fell in love with them. Then we came.in because the quality of the items they sell is absolutely worth the trip. Stacy and her staff go through everything for you. Unlike GW you won't find already worn out stuff. I've lately been buying designer purses at a fraction of the cost....which makes it easier to budget my addiction. :) My fave is a Kate Spade bag.....I get compliments all the time and I have to say I got it at Lucky Star! I don't bring our gently used stuff in to sell as often as I should ....but my kids have overflowing closets I added to my spring cleaning list. Stacy is the QUEEN of Halloween. If you ever need a costume ....GO SEE HER!! I swear she performs magic. They have two locations....Kingston is the flagship store and has a honey feel. Silverdale is three times bigger and it has just more high quality stuff. And purses....tee hee. Just try it. You'll be happy you did!! OH! In Kingston their next door gift shop has CHOCOLATE. Talk about therapy!!!mmmmmm

Cutest little boutique shop ever!! The lady employee was super sweet and bubbly :) we chatted and connected and she showed me to the cat lovers collection (such a joy for us Cat mamas). I admire art so she showed me the best coloring books ever !! There were a lot of locally made things which made me even more excited. I peeked around and there were clothes of all sizes super cute and shoes and hats and costumes It's so easy to get lost in a shopping trans there. They even had like new Victorias secret bras. So much fun stuff and I'm so glad to finally be able to check it out and I so recommend this lovely consignment shop <3 ?❤️

It's very cold out, mid November, and 40 degrees. Not a winter coat or stocking hat to be found in the place. The cashier says, " It's not winter yet. We go by the calendar" Clueless. Want seasonal? Go somewhere else.

I have shopped and brought my clothes to Lucky Star for the past few years. The people there are very friendly and accommodating. I have found the cutest clothes there compared to any other consignment stores here.

Love the $1 sidewalk bins! Found a few great items in there! I think this shop is definitely more for people who wear juniors clothing. While there was some women's and even plus sized clothing in there, it just all felt a bit too hip and trendy for someone who has some very tried and true fashion choices. I think young people and teens would definitely love shopping in there, but I didn't find much of anything for myself. There were some designer bags but they were up on the wall and you couldn't reach them to see the condition or the price on any of them. The shop is clean, smells fine, and everything seems to be pretty well organized. I personally didn't like how they had the jeans folded in half on the jean hangers, it made it hard to assess each item as I was shopping since I had no desire to take them off the hanger, unfold them, inspect them, then rehang and put back. Probably a space saving decision but definitely made me stop looking at pants right away.I was a little surprised when I walked in with a little bundle of the $1 sidewalk items and this lady kind of rushed up to me and said, "Did you get those out of the bin outside?" and when I said yes she immediately extended her arms to 'take them and put them up front at the counter.' It was probably meant to be friendly, but 1. I'm hearing impaired so her sudden appearance startled me, and 2. I felt like I was being profiled or something, like she was worried I was going to steal $4 worth of clothing? Again, I'm sure it was probably meant to be an act of kindness, but it rubbed me a little wrong. Perhaps because I wasn't apart of the decision, it was just feeling very "give me these now" and less "can I help you by holding these up front until you are done?" That being said, there is a lot of selection so you could certainly spend a long time looking around in there.

I decided to give Lucky Star consignment a shot, even after reading the other reviews from sellers. My mistake. I normally head to the consignment shops in Tacoma, but with the cost of gas, I wanted something closer to home.I stopped off with the first 13 gallon trash bag. Everything went smoothly and when I signed the contract, I opted to have ALL my clothing returned vs. Lucky Star "donating" whatever they didn't think they could sell. I even marked the "R" on the each left bag (as instructed by the sales clerk) so they knew to return it.About a month later, I brought in the 2nd 13 gallon bag of clothes and checked in on the status of the 1st bag. This is where everything took a turn. After I dropped off the bag, it was radio silence. I stopped in the store about 7 days later. The store associate told me they didn't know where the bag was and the owner would get ahold of me. Ok, no problem. I waited and on the 4th day of not hearing anything, I sent an email asking about the bag I dropped off.The owner responded to the email saying she never received a note to contact me. That was a big red flag, especially after speaking with the sales clerk the week prior. At that time I requested to come pick up all my items. I never heard back. The following day, I went into the store to pick up the items I left to sell and get the bag of returned items. This is when I learned all the clothing that should have been returned to me, was actually donated. When I questioned the owner further on how this could have happened, her tone changed and the excuses came out. She told me, it was my handwriting on the bag (not sure how she knows my hand writing since I've never met her before) then continued to say I requested to donate it. Which was a complete lie. Both the contract and bag stated the items were to be returned.Out of two full 13 gallon trash bags, I was able to get back maybe 1/2 of one 13 gallon bag.Don't waste your time here. This place seems to take advantage of sellers. Not sure what actually happened to the clothing I dropped off. Maybe it did get donated (and the business got to keep my tax write off) or maybe the process isn't that transparent so they can more easily take advantage of the people coming to use their consignment services.I do know by the owners quickness to argue and blame shift over their mistake, I wouldn't be surprised if they are operating in the grey zone of business practices/ethics. I honestly feel taken advantage of as a seller.Communication and customer service is key to working in retail. This place has neither.

This is supposed to be a consignment shop. You give cloths, the owner marks them, sells them, and gives you part of the profit. HA! This really is a woman who takes your cloths, "labels" them, takes 95% of the proceeds from it, and gives you a token amount. This is a "go fund me" shop where you are funding the store owner. We brought in about 60 pieces of very nice cloths. We chose this shop instead of Good Will because my growing daughter wanted to bank some money. She gave stuff that was lightly worn and some of the pieces still had the tag on them. It was NICE stuff. The proceeds she received from the "sale" of all of it was $5.41. NEVER AGAIN! If you have cloths to give, give to Good Will where the proceeds benefit more than the store owner!!!

Very interesting mix of items. Really cool, great clothing options. A little pricy on some things.
