Normally my experiences at Apollo in Silverdale are consistent, relaxing, and friendly. However this visit was not. It was aggressive, sloppy, and rushed. I consider this visit aggressive because when trimming my cuticles, they were cut and torn so much that they were bleeding in several spots. Sometimes accidents happen, but this did not feel like the case. Gina was being aggressive and moving too quickly.Furthermore, I was not asked if I wanted my nails cut or just filed. Instead Gina just immediately went to chopping away and doing whatever she wanted. After quickly filing my nails, she then went straight into paint - leaving the nail dust all over my hands. Normally I’m asked to wash my hands before proceeding and this did not happen. I did not like this.Lastly, normally the edges get cleaned up before things are considered finished. This time however, there is still paint on the edges of my fingers and skin surrounding my nails as I sit here and type this. This was just the baseline manicure with a shellac finish and it honestly left me so incredibly unsatisfied.I opted to try the new “cat-eye” finish and she struggled a bit with that, but that is okay. It’s obviously a new product and everyone has to learn or start somewhere. That experience though on top of what already felt like a terrible, rushed manicure quite literally left me in tears. I was silent the entire time.I still paid because I received a service, but it was not a service I would recommend to anyone if their experience is going to be anything like that. I have pictures of the manicure and if I ever visit this store again, I will politely ask that I do not get assigned to Gina. I also submitted this same response to their feedback link that was sent via text after my appointment.Services: Nail painting

I always have a great experience and my nails look fabulous! I’ve been going here for over 5 years now. I get a shellac manicure and shellac pedicure by Kathy every time and I am always pleased with my experience. Definitely recommend them.Services: Sculpted nails

I’ve been to three other local nail salons, where I felt like I was on an assembly line, rushed, and the quality of work is not worth what I paid. Apollo Nails usually has a relaxing atmosphere other than the occasional customer who likes to run their mouth. I set my appointments with Jenny. She’s friendly and always does a great job!Service: Gel manicures

I just went to Appollo for the first time for a shellac pedicure and it was lovely! It was very clean and peaceful in there and Chi did a wonderful and meticulous job on my feet!! I will definitely go there again!!Services: Foot massages

I took my man in with me for a pedicure. First and last time here! His feet still have rough spots all over and so do mine! The massage was just like someone smearing lotion and oil on you. NOT a massage at all! Super disappointed in the service. They were 15 minutes behind seating us. Felt rushed. Barely spoke English. Mostly slapping my foot and gestures. My toes are kinda cute but they didn't even do a base coat on my French tip and they didn't even trim all of my toenails! Just trimmed some of them slapped some white on the tips and a clear coat that isn't even smoothly applied! Not worth it!!!Services: Foot massages

Came in for a manicure on July 24th possible maybe they had some confusion when I was booking my appointment. They acted unaware that I needed Gel removal which I had stated while making my appointment. The technician seemed bothered by the fact I had polish on from another salon.. sorry visiting from California !This then prompted comments from the woman sitting by me "that they didn't do gel there" it was very snotty. The manicure wasn't the best the technician didn't do a very good job on my cuticles, polish wasn't painted all the way down. Looked like I had a few days grow out on a couple of my nails. I paid and left thinking I'd never return but polish started chipping away the NEXT day. Went in for a fix on the 26th the technician who helped me commented on my cuticles and fixed the one finger she was working on. Two more nails chipped over the following couple of days. Some look grown out, some are chipped, and some actually look like they should for the $60 I believe I paid for just a simple manicure. Between the vibe from the local ladies and the technician it was a very uncomfortable experience I dont recall my technician saying anything other then "You have Gel" !Definitely the most expensive manicure Iv ever paid for and I live in San Diego $$$

Was a nice place to get your Toes done. Lots of guys in the place today, interesting, we are taking over. You need a reservation or you will be waiting a while. My wife really likes the care the take and the details that they do.

I had a Excavation The lady doing the procedure did not speak English I'm not sure she had ever done one before she didn't seem to have the experience. The cost was a $100 which I felt okay with but with the experience I don't believe it was worth a $100 at all.Sorry to say I will have to pick another place next time.

I have been getting my mani/ pedi her for at least 10 years. I have always had a beautiful mami/ pedi done by Dianne. She is so professional and such a caring person. She really knows her job. Always kind and takes the time with you. Also found out she has been a manager and working in the spa area. So much talent. All the employees work very hard. Thank you for your expertise and caring ways towards your customers, both young and old.Services: Foot massages

Pretty good. My nail artist didn't speak or comprehend English at all. My toes looked nice, but they are overpriced.

I come here pretty often for pedis. Their phone presence has gotten worse. I called to book an Mani/ Pedi, and after she explained they didn't do acrylic she hung up on me. I still wanted to get a pedicure, I don't know where the misunderstanding was, but it was kind of rushed, rude and I'll be going elsewhere.Service: Pedicure

Easy booking (though you do have to download an app but that’s easy enough). I had an appointment today with Kim (nail tech#6). She took her time, I never once felt rushed during my appointment. I did a shellac manicure with nail designs that turned out wonderful (just showed a reference photo). Pedicure was also great. Easy check in with wonderful front receptionists. The entire place looked clean, along with brand new tools out of packaging that were used. Will be coming back to this establishment.Services: Nail art

OK I have NEVER received a manicure like this before. This is the manicure we all walk in and hope for but just know we are not going to get because the clinician is busy worrying about their NEXT client instead of the one sitting in front of them now, so they rush you through. Well NOT Phoebe and from what I could see the rest of the team seems to be the same way. They focus on their current client and how they can satisfy that person. BEST MANICURE EVER!!!! I will be back. Thank youServices: Nail painting

The atmosphere when you walk in is nice and clean. My issues are that they run late for their own appts, and the service is mediocre. Now I haven't had many appts lately, so I am going off my last two appts. The first one, I booked the volcano spa pedicure, which is roughly 60 bucks, but what I was given a regular spa pedicure that costs about 40 bucks. When asked why I was switched, they simply said "that what we have you under." Then i waited for 15 minutes for my appt to start. The nail tech did a rush job on me feet, and the polish looked horrible. I could see where she did not put a second coat, and by the end of the day, the polish was already chipping. My second, most recent, appt, was mediocre and definitely rushed in the second half. My husband booked me a mani/pedi that costs 65. This time I opted out of getting polish, I just wanted them cleaned. First off, I was sitting for about 20 minutes, waiting for my appt. Now, this is the second time being late, and I had other things going on that day, so a 20-minute wait time for an appt was quite annoyance. Once I was finally called to a seat, I waited with my feet in the water just under 10 more minutes for my nail tech. She finally came. She had an attitude about something, hopefully nothing to do with me, and started my pedicure. Pedicure was going good. Again, felt a little rushed through the hot towel process, but that's not a huge deal. When it was time for my manicure, I stayed in the pedicure chair and was given a pillow and towel for my lap and a small bowl of luke warm/cold soapy water for my hands. She dipped my hand in for a couple of minutes, then went to town on my cuticles. I mean, rushed through, clipping and yanking and them off. I was confused as to why I wasn't able to sit at the regular table. Maybe because I wasn't getting nail polish, I don't know. Overall, mediocre experience, at best for what I paid for. I do think that a nail shop with appt only bookings should be better with their timing.

I made an appointment with Kathy and she wasn’t there when I arrived which was a bit frustrating but the gal that did my manicure/pedicure did a great job nonetheless. Standard pricing in comparison to other salons, very clean and inviting atmosphere.
