Friendly staff - knowledgeable and helpful; Helped me set up my loyalty account very easily. This store appears smaller but they have things need to get your DIY done. Ample parking.

Fast and friendly, paint knowledgeable staff. Get what you need quick without the big box store atmosphere. They also recycle leftover paint. Thanks!

This SW is the friendliest one around. They looked up my base options, told me what was available, what could be ordered, what the best choices were for my house (weather'wise). Every time I've been in the crew has been helpful with zero pressure. They had no problem matching the color based on my previous receipt, which a Big Box store found funny when I asked that... After several experiences here and other SW/Big Box stores, this will be my go to!It is pricey. Purchase during a sale and do the shopping whenever you get your ideas together.(#protip: Avoid Kenmore location if you are female, the older guy there is condescending and otherwise unhelpful.)

Store employee was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with; store is clean, well-ordered and had exactly what I needed; I also appreciate they take used paint for recycling.

Customer service at the counter was unhelpful and thoughtless. My paint contractor told me to tell them to put the samples I went in for on his account.I brought that up at the beginning and the guy said we don't have any deals on....I texted the contractor and showed the guy his response. A dull blank look....what's the po? I gave him the name and ultimately he called my contractor. Ridiculous.Next. He couldn't be bothered to label the samples. If I'd had more than a couple id-ing them would be a pain and if I hadn't kept my own paint chips?.....Just.Lame. Unprofessional.I won't even go into the rest. Too many.

Came here expecting a more 'retail sales' experience than at the Benjamin Moore stores, some of which cater mostly to contractors (or seem to). My mistake. Aside from a shinier and more retail-looking store (with free coffee!), the service wasn't as good. Mallory's (Georgetown location) folks were very straightforward about the various paints and what they would and wouldn't do. SW sales people were pushing product, so it was hard to know what I needed, because they insisted that all of SW paint is super amazing stuff that solves all problems, all the time. (Note: it does not.) Paint color matching was not great. Note that their Emerald line of paints only comes in Gloss, Semi Gloss, and Flat. No Eg-shel or other gradations in between. (They may not mention this, but just swap in semi gloss for eg-shel without telling you, which happened to me, so be aware.) I needed 3 coats of this paint to cover pale yellow with white. I thought I'd only need 2 coats, as I'd done another room in Benjamin Moore Aura paint with two coats, white over beige. It's not an apples to apples comparison exactly, but this was not a "high hide" paint for me. I did like their Emerald line alkyd enamel trim paint in semi gloss. Levels really well, super user friendly. Everyone was pleasant and professional, no complaints there.

Ever since Daly's Paint store closed in Seattle, every contractor I know is upset with the current selection of paint stores. Sherwin Williams won't even match a deck stain! When I complained the guy just walked away! I couldn't believe it! Home Depot and Lowe's are no better. And Benjamin Moore gave me a water based product instead of what I specifically ordered. I'm looking for a good local paint store with people who actually care. Suggestions anyone?

Fairly small Sherwin-Williams, so their selection is somewhat limited, but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, stores clean, and I have no complaints about using them regularly
