I've been a customer at fred Meyer shoreline for nearly eight years, I am a law respecting person,I'm polite and respectful, and forgiving of incidents involving verbal abuse, unfair character judgement,a disregard for my physical limitations, out right rude treatment by customer service,I am limited in mobility and don't get out much,I've done business in good faith, everything from televisions ,electronics, groceries,I've lived in this neighborhood paying rent my income is limited,I bought a sound bar and subwoofer ,it was faulty ,I was ill for some time and could not go out till I recovered, when I finally got to return it I was accused of theft and verbally abused and was told it was to late, my purchase was verified by my fred Meyers card, they through me out,I left the defective product, I was leave the store yesterday and saw someone's ID on the floor ,I'm recovering from sciatica and can't bend over, one customer service clerk rudely yelled pick it up then,I was embarassed,I was only being helpful,I notified the management who only tried made to tell me to settle down, a common ploy to avoid accountability, why doesn't customer service ethic matter any more its sad, it's been suggested and stated by a store employee that the fred Meyers in shoreline is closing in the near future, so there's no need to care about customer service or basic courtesy ,it doesn't take a psychic to see that properties are now slated for high end apartments all around the ramshackle fred Meyers building, think about it, don't you deserve respect, customer service, and respect what ever race you are, or being perceived as less than, glad to take your hard earned money, with no basic respect that every one should enjoy, not decided by a disgruntled clerk who is convinced your not even worth any dignity, this is extremely concerning what's happening to our society? My look to the future is a nervous glance,

This is just a standard grocery store. The prices are reasonable, and most of the time the shelves are stocked. There are plenty of self-checkout registers, so it's usually a quick in and out. I frequent this place a couple of times a week.

The entrance to the right reeks so badly every time I go through it. I finally realized it's because the bathrooms are near there. I can smell it all the way into the freezer aisles and a couple after to the left. This store location is extremely busy, so the checkout lines - both cashiered and self checkout ones hang out into the walkways and further, especially on weekends and even on weekday afternoons. For the longest time, they never opened the self checkout area by the bathrooms, but they finally did last Saturday. I was so surprised and didn't notice it until too late on my way out. I've been waiting over a year or even longer for it. The person working the seafood area was very nice and helpful, but the signs on the glass are confusing about what fish come with free seasonings to choose from. The alcohol section is sectioned off, so you have to pay before continuing shopping if you buy any alcohol from there. There's not much room at the cashier there, so people should only pay for alcohol and a few small things at most over there or else it takes forever with their one cashier. I grew up by the Greenwood Fred Meyer and visited the Lake City one regularly for a few years, and those ones are way bigger and nicer inside than the Shoreline store. This one is more grocery store focused, while the others are like a grocery and department store mix with better clothing and electronics selections.

I was so excited to come here as it's part of the northwest experience in my opinion. They did away with the indoor seating since COVID and there's just a small Starbucks inside. Sushi is a bunch of California rolls and they have some fried chicken options. Even the local Ralph's does a better job of sandwiches and food options. Ended up turning around and leaving. What a shame.

Since when is it Fred Meyer policy to ask for your receipt when leaving with a cart of stuff that is not bagged obviously because it's soda? Yeah I won't be shopping here anymore. You lost me as a customer. I'll go to Central Market/Town & Country instead.

One checkout line at shoreline Fred Meyer on a Sunday night. The line went all the way down the aisle and management did nothing.

If you still believe in the goodness of humanity, come to this store, and your faith in people will completely be eradicated. Service is non-existent. Customers are treated with contempt and nonchalance. Your paid for items will be thrown about willy nilly, with reckless impunity, including eggs and fragile vegetables. The staff answers questions with grunts or worse, blank looks. Double check your bill since you will most likely be overcharged. You will fall for the ruse of tagged items on sale, but when the items are rang up, the sales have apparently already expired! No wonder the store's clerks are vile-tempered. Too few of them man the tills so you will visibly age while waiting in line to pay for your groceries only to be met by Grumpy who makes it evident he/she despises the job and you, the paying customer, is somehow the sole party responsible for his/her miserable career choice.

This isn't their biggest location so some inventory was limited but met my basic needs. Garden Dept was especially helpful. Thank you.

The rudest Fred Meyer in the PNW! I'm a lifelong Freddy's shopper, been in dozens of stores over three decades. In this location today I had 5 different employees ignore me during my half hr visit in the store, making eye contact and walking away when I was waiting for assistance at the deli and fish counters. An old woman working literally scowled at me and said "no" when I said "Hi, excuse me, do you know if anyone is working the counter that can help me?" What a joke!! Took over ten minutes to get fish (I found out the fish counter guy saw me and made eye contact with me several minutes prior but didn't care to come out and help.) No hi, no how can I help you, just came out with a nasty look on his face and didn't even wrap the fish nicely. Sadly not the first time I've seen nasty mean behavior from staff here either. I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on. Treat customers with a maybe a little tiny drop of respect!!

This Fred Meyer chain is near to our place. For a new resident of Washington it was confusing as to which grocery chain to stick to. I mean to our surprise grocery in Seattle is expensive than Los Angeles. Hmm. Going through the other chain stores like Safeway and QFC we found Fred Meyer to be somewhat better. They have ample of parking space available. They have weekly deals and coupons which you can get when you sign up for them. I haven't received and any coupons in the mail as I was told but I have downloaded their App on which I can see those coupons and save them on my Fred Meyer rewards card which at check out is applied. We purchased Fuji apples from this store and they were very yummy and juicy. They not only keep grocery but other stuff as well. More like an expensive Walmart if you will.
