I have been a client here for seven or eight years and had been very happy with their services for my cats. But after today, I will never go back. One of my cats has trouble keeping her rear end clean, so I brought her in for a "sanitary trim." The technician spent at most two minutes running clippers up her backside, and they charged me FIFTY-TWO dollars. I was expecting more like $15. When I expressed shock, the attitude of the receptionist was basically "Tough shit, what's your card number?" This clinic hasn't been taking new clients for quite some time, but maybe there's room now! You've been warned about their prices, however.

Extremely irritated by Cat's Exclusive. My cat was a patient for many years, but because we haven't been in 3 years, partly due to COVID we were booted off their patient list. I'm sure there are other caring Vets out there, but starting from the beginning with an elderly cat is challenging.

My cat has a uti and they won't see her because she hasn't been there since 2017. Now what am I supposed to do? Shame on cats exclusive!

I walked in and the receptionists looked like they had seen an alien. As soon as I walk through the door, they look at each other and roll their eyes..as if they have never seen a client before in their life. Not the environment I was looking for. Maybe find some positive front desk people. If it weren't for the Veterinarians....I would not schedule at this place.

Such a wonderful place. We brought our kitty to two other vets before we found Cats Exclusive. The quality of treatment and the customer service at Cats Exclusive is far, far above the other vets we tried. Even when we don't have an appointment, Cats Exclusive gets back to me right away if I have questions or concerns about our kitty's health. This is a special place and we're lucky to have found it.

Cats Exclusive was absolutely amazing. Their whole staff and the vet that saw our cat were all so wonderful in communicating with us and the handling of our little guy from start to finish. Due to COVID-19, I was concerned about taking my cat into a vet, but all of my worries washed away after learning about the measures they are taking to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers (and their cat patients). One of the safety measures taken was phone-based appointments - they took my cat back to the exam room and then the vet called me to go over concerns and findings while I was in the parking lot waiting for the appointment to end. I was initially hesitant/anxious about the phone exam, but all of my concerns washed away once the vet gave me a call! The appointment was comprehensive, the vet was very friendly, and she made recommendations and took extra steps with my cat that she definitely didn't have to do, but are so incredibly appreciated! All in all, I am very satisfied and just became a lifetime patron of Cats Exclusive. Take your cat here if you want amazing care from such wonderful and friendly people, who are very clearly cat lovers! Thank you to Cats Exclusive for the peace of mind during a stressful time. Oliver appreciates it too!

This review is specifically a result of an appointment this week. I noticed my cat had a few areas of patchy, flaky skin. As we are all on lock down for Coronavirus at the moment, I thought I would have it checked out once things "returned to normal". A few days later I noticed she had a few bald spots on her back so I decided I needed to take in her to see her vet. We recently moved to the Madrona neighborhood, and my cat hates being in the car but I also felt that now wasn't a good time to try and find a new vet. I called Cats Exclusive, scheduled an appointment and packed the kitty into her carrier and put her in the car. The drive to the vet's office is about 20 minutes now, and just as I was getting onto the freeway my cat threw up in her carrier. I am assuming this was due to the stress of being in the car for a longer than normal period. When I arrived, I called the front office and they met me at the door to take my cat in to see the vet. I apologized and explained that she threw up and it was quite a mess, the person helping me said no problem we will take care of it. I was able to talk with the vet over the phone and we talked through a treatment plan for this skin condition. When I picked the cat up from the front door, they had put a new clean towel in her carrier and gave me the dirty towel in a bag. I was so thankful the staff was willing to clean up this mess and was very gracious about the whole incident. I really appreciated their willingness to help out during such a stressful time. Our cat has been seen by Cats Exclusive for probably the last 3-4 years and we have always been happy with the level of service we have received. Our cat had all of her teeth removed there last year and the team was wonderful in guiding us through the process and taking care of our aging kitty.

I first brought in my fur baby to Cats Exclusive way back in 2008- back when the stray cat in the neighborhood adopted me and my family:) Have been through may types of health issues for my kitty- food allergies, dental surgery, kidney issues, etc. All issues were worked through and well managed by the doctors who cared for my little guy. I had never had a cat before, so the staff were great at helping me navigate through caring for him all these years. Last week, my little guy passed away after a sudden illness. I will always be thankful for all the years of excellent care and concern.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and vets that work here. I have seen numerous techs, vets and front office workers and each time they display astounding empathy, practicality and patience - no matter the situation. In an emergency, they've found ways of getting me in as quickly as possible and they've understood when I've needed to explore alternative options; all without judgement or lectures. While I've never taken advantage of their boarding facilities as of yet, I would be more than comfortable doing so if the need arose. Additionally, there's a wonderfully diverse little shop attached to facility. Highly recommend!

Edit (in reply to Aaron): Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, the provided explanation is inconsistent with the facts of the interaction. Our cat was in acute need of a simple three-minute procedure to relieve pressure from fluid buildup in his nose that he periodically suffers. We desired to have this performed in your clinic (vs doing it ourselves) for two simple reasons. First, we are not as experienced at restraining him and do not wish to risk his injury in the process. Second, a period of stress and trauma is required that we do not wish to be directly associated with as he is already timid and leery in temperament. This procedure has been performed at your clinic before and you have records documenting this. No in-depth study of his medical history has been required prior. This was clearly communicated but rather than honor our appointment you casually dismissed the acute need for his treatment and blithely suggested we reschedule for a date weeks in the future. Further, your alternate suggestion that we take him to an emergency clinic undercuts your assertion that an in-depth review of his history is needed. In the end, you took a simple situation requiring a simple treatment and created an unnecessarily contentious interaction for all involved. ------------------------------------------ This is just an absolutely awful clinic. I have a cat with a persistent health issue that demands emergency appointments for treatment. He has been to every specialist and clinic in the greater Seattle area because of his rare congenital nasal cyst. Cats Exclusive is familiar with his needs and I've been very happy with how Dr. Echentile has spearheaded his treatment. I called the clinic this morning to ask for Dr. Echentile and sadly he isn't working today so I accepted an appointment w/ Dr. Schuldt given the urgency of the situation (my cat's nose is filled with fluid and it needs to be aspirated to relieve the pressure/gunk). A couple hours later, I received a voicemail canceling my appointment with zero explanation. I called in to inquire about why my appointment was canceled and had the unfortunate fate of dealing with a combative person named Tia. No explanation was given except for "the clinic cannot see your cat today". When I pressed for a reason, I was repeatedly fed the same answer (sorry, we cannot see your cat today) and then casually told.....hey, you could make an appointment for a couple weeks out! My experience w/ Dr. Schuldt and Tia lead me to believe that they really don't care about my feline family members. If you need any more details, please feel free to message me. I'm happy to share.

This is the place to take your cat! I drive all the way here from Mukilteo to take my 9 year old Siamese cat, Kitty here. Now Kitty is not a nice boy at the vet. He is also quite large and difficult to handle when he is upset. Dr. Fligiel didn't bat an eye throughout all his hissing and growling, and Kitty even let her pet him a little bit. They've also given lots of helpful advice on keeping Kitty healthy as he suffers from some digestive problems. Yes, it's expensive, but what vet isn't? Here you will pay the same price as any other vet, but your cat will receive top notch care from people who love cats.

We've had wonderful experiences with Cats Exclusive, both as patients and boarding customers. Everyone we've encountered there has been delightful and helpful, including during some difficult times for us and our kitty. We'd like to especially thank Dr. Schuldt for her compassionate care. We'll be back when we welcome a new kitty to the family.
