“Best meat, seafood, produce, and Asian food section in North Seattle. Occasionally, they're under stocked on major brand food and non food items. Once or twice there was no whipping cream, or none of my preferred dishwasher soap, etc.”

“Such an amazing wine store for your average wine drinker. They have a great selection of $10-$20 wines and don't care what your price range is they will go above and beyond to find the best bottle for your tastes.Totally worth the extra stop after shopping at Fred's to get your wine here. Prices are almost identical so you're not even "paying" for the above and beyond service.”

“What a great find. Don't be fooled by the outside, inside are some great wines and the owner definitely knows what he is doing. He spent the time with us to introduce us to several wines from regions we hadn't tried before. Very friendly, very helpful and a very nice selection of wines. We will definitely be back..”

“Great little store! The couple that owns it is very sweet, and they give great recommendations for beer. They also do those "build your own 6-pack", so you can try lots of beers and ciders. They also have a good selection of wine.”

“I really like this little shop. Like most neighborhood/convenience store Lyons has about anything you'd need in a pinch. Additionally they have a sandwich shop inside where they can make you something tasty to eat in about 10 minutes. I have driven out of my way to grab a sandwich from this place...Also, as a part of the neighborhood, they know the people and happenings of the area and I feel that is important in any neighborhood.”

“Very helpful, kind staff, and a carefully curated selection you can trust, with both local and French varietals (our faves). We stopped in while visiting and happened upon the Saturday tasting, which was a lovely treat. Wish we lived closer so we could visit regularly! They even have pre-cooled bottles in the fridge.A can't miss if you're in Queen Anne.”

“Great spot with tons of brews. So many options. About 50 taps to choose from if you want to drink there, and more cans and bottles to go than you can imagine. Food trucks are typically outside for food while you're there. I'll be back!”

“I love layers. I was never really into sandwiches before they came along, but they have changed my opinion. The flavors here are so incredible. They're creative but also simple, taking the best and freshest ingredients to create something amazing. I’ve seen some complaints about the pricing, but I’ve had many different sandwiches here and you can really tell the quality. The bread really sets them apart, but it’s all good. You can really tell that they put love and care into their food. Highly recommend!!”

“One of the best bottle shops in the country!I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states)Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us.I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!”

“I recently endeavoured to find Licataa, the sparkling red wine created/developed by Raekwon. I know I am several years late to this, but recently heard about it and struggled to find any bottles near me. A google search directed me towards Rain City Wines.I haven't bought too much wine online other than through subscriptions, and was unsure how it was going to go but I have to say Rain City surpassed my expectations in packaging, shipping time, and care they put in assembling it all together.I'll definitely order from them in the future the next time I need to track down a bottle that isn't available in my area. Thank you, Rain City! Also if you get your hands on any more bottles of Licataa, send them my way!”

“You're not just getting great wine at a good price - the proprietor is wonderful about sharing his excitement and interest in wine. You'll love the same bottle better if you buy it after talking to him.”

“Special Brews is one of the pillars of the Seattle-area beer community.Their bottle selection is large and well-curated with all styles represented - the best lambic selection in town, plenty of barrel aged things, and of course all sorts of lager, IPA, cider, gluten-free beers, and more. The taplist is large and diverse and will always have things to interest anyone. The staff are a blast and offer great recommendations. There's plenty of seating, a TV to watch the game, and a good number of food options nearby you can bring in.This is everything you'd want in a local bar and everything you'd want in a specialty store combined into one.”

“Original Artwork will always be expensive.. prints vary…I imagined this place a little bigger but overall 4/5 . Maybe a 5 if they switched out artists. Online info of artist and paintings on display would be nice.”

“I'm Capt Steve Seattle tour guide Customized Tours and this is one of our customers favorite stops. Customers say one freshly made sandwich is enough for two. Sit in sun or shade and enjoysome great local snacks like Bavarian Meats Landjaeger or Macrina bakery scones and muffins. Always a fresh breeze by the water at Fishermen Terminal. Don't forget to say hello to Captain Joe the owner!”

“Great place. Awesome selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Huge wine inventory.Staff is great. Always friendly and accommodating.Vibe is chill..Neighborhood type vibe. Indoor and patio seating (with heat lamps if ur cold) with a good view of the Kirkland Marina.A regular stop for me and my Golden. (Yes, well behaved dogs allowed too) What’s not to love?!!Parking: Kirkland Marina parking lot charges Mon-Sat. Sunday and Holidays are free. The cost is not very much. There are some surrounding street area spots that are 2 hours for free, if you can find one. Worth driving around the block once if you are concerned about paying.Either way, don’t stay over your allotted time because Kirkland Parking Enforcement will get you every time, even if you’re a minute over, it seems. They patrol all day as well.”

“Moonrise is always busy when I come, for good reason! Love how they have an outdoor area to sit with a roof. It's just such a cute little bakery! They have a products area with wine, canned fish, coffee beans, chocolate, etc. I always love looking over what they have; their items make great souvenirs for people who aren't from Seattle. As for the food, Moonrise has this amazing double baked croissant. It's literally the best croissant in Seattle, it's flaky, has melted chocolate, and is not too expensive! Their other pastries are great too, like their cookies and gruyere croissants. As soon as you walk in you just smell a heavenly mix of everything! If you're in Queen Anne you have to stop by this place.”

“I have been there in the past and enjoyed a good stout beer from the tap. My last encounter was a inquiry about the YETI stiut beer which was reported on the Internet as being there and they said it was a good thing that I called first, since they did not have it now. I liked the honesty!”

“LOVE the wine selection and staff are so so nice! Wish the produce was a little better (wilted lettuce/old herbs) but you can't go wrong here. Deli in the back is a great spot too for lunch”
