“Great place. So nice to have a solid hardware store in the neighborhood, and a local alternative to Home Depot and Lowes. I'm visually-impaired, and dropped in to see if they had garbage cans for my apartment. A clerk approached me right away, showed me where they are, and explained the options. So, so helpful. I noticed they have everything from specialty hardware and fixtures to basic kitchen utensils. Again, so glad this store exists. I'm going to be a regular.”

He is kind, warm, and listens carefully to what I need and even seeks more guidance from other staff to get a second opinion. The only downside is what the company website claims is in stock or even carried is almost always wrong.
This is fourth time I've gone to this location and the fourth time Ace's website was completely wrong. The knowledge and courtesy of their staff more than makes up for their online service but it doesn't mean my projects get done.”

“My husband had called and put something on hold. I drove down after work from Everett. The traffic wasn't bad, got there about 9am, they weren't busy, picked up the item and went home. They were friendly and nice guys.”
“My name is Nancy Niesel and I want to let you know I had the best experience yesterday with your salesman Sean . He tried so hard to find the part for my toilet without any luck and he told me if I called the company they may send it to me sooner than he thought he could receive. I had to call twice as the first time after waiting 8 minutes I was disconnected and then when I called the second time after 15 minutes they were able to tell me they would overnite the part. I did purchase your sewer cleaning by his recommendation and am very pleased with the product. Thanks for everything. It's got more of a general store feel, and the employee spirit is positive and community-oriented. It's so refreshing to see this, and I'm sure makes regulars out of many. “After reading other reviews I felt obligated to post. I actually send a note privately to the President (and got a response within a few hours), just to share the great service I had. I've been shopping at the Shoreline location for my bigger home project needs for years and have had nothing but good experiences. The sales people were incredibly knowledgeable, shared a few options on lumber, quickly gave me the options on the decking and even instantly knew which screws would be a color match. My special order decking was and and scheduled in less than a week - A+ customer service from everyone during the process.”
“These guys are great! I honestly pass the store all the time and thought it was just a lumber yard. The team was super helpful, I needed a unique temporary fix to get water from my sink to a hose and fast! They came up with a genius solution and it worked great!! I will be using them all the time! Their selection of screws and fasteners is impressive!”

“I have shopped at Ace Hardware stores in Seattle since I bought my first home in the Magnolia area in 1980. Since I was a novice in home up-keeping, when I went to the store with a problem, I was always helped by the staff on how to solve it. I always felt respected. To this day, 45 year later, I still shop at Ace Hardware because of the service I receive in responding to questions. Also I like the products Ace Hardware carries. Where I live now in downtown Seattle, every 3 months I walk to the Ace Hardware store close to where I live and walk up and down the aisles to see what's new. This last time when I bought a timer, I learned about the Reward Program and I joined. Thanks for being the

Not a vapid/spiritless warehouse that is overrun with disgruntled underpaid employees who hate their unfullfilling jobs.
There are knowledgable people at ACE who are available and more than willing to help.
Roger helped me find the product I was seeking and, also, he pointed-out where the location of the Dremel products in which I also expressed interest.
As I was paying for my chosen product, he asked if I had found the Dremel product I needed. That is what's called being attentive and caring about my experience in their store.
To visit this ACE, I drive much father than the Lowe's and Home Depot stores which are nearer to my home. It's worth...every time.”
“I love this store! It's a true blue old school hardware store that almost always has what I need as a fix it myself homeowner and gardener. Great tools, supplies, plus the more fun necessities in all housewares every season including specialty items. You could stock your whole kitchen with quality things from here plus have great gifts and kid's stuff too. The staff is totally accessible and knowledgeable and nice and I can be in and out fast. I go several times a month and can avoid all the big stores that take too much time and are harder to navigate and often disorganized. I highly recommend trying our small stores first and this one is exemplary. Plus it smells like a real hardware store and just opening the door is a pleasure to my senses. Long live tradition that is high functioning and prices are no more than the big stores, and often less. 5 stars and this review is long overdue for how much I love it. Going there now for 2" nails, a garden tarp, bathroom cleaning wipes, laundry soap, a new teapot, and to return some electrical supplies that I ended up not needing.”
