“One of the coolest places I visited in Seattle. I will definitely stop in again when I return. I purchased two shirts. Incense, stickers, and a fantastic gargoyle wall hanging. The lady there was so friendly and helpful. She even shared some of her own rowan with me when she heard I needed some. I love this shop!”
“I happened upon this shop when I went to Seattle for vacation several years ago and really liked the aesthetic and their selection and have been following them on social media ever since. Occasionally I'll see cute items that would make great gifts (or treats to myself!) and place online orders- I just did so recently when I saw some cute pins being featured on their social media.The items I ordered were packaged with care and I appreciate the handwritten note regarding some of the pins I had ordered! I'm happy to support this small business and look forward to seeing what products they curate next!”
“These are the most beautiful handcrafted books I have ever laid eyes on. I bought one a few years back and have absolutely loved it so I could not pass up the opportunity to get my hands on another. You can even water color on the pages after you are done writing/journaling in it--that's my next step for the first one. Anyways absolute love--made with extreme care and quality”

He is a very talented shaman / medium but he will be modest about it. Bodhisattvas can be anywhere!”

“I didn't think there was a top notch stationery store in Seattle, but I was wrong! Now, you may be thinking of Paper Luxe, but you have to pay an arm and a leg at Paper Luxe for a card worth buying. At Portage Bay Goods, they only charge an arm. Kidding but also not kidding? Stationery is an expensive hobby, but the prices are a bit higher here compared to other big city independent stationery/gift stores I've seen in the last six months. I'm only talking $1-$1.5 difference, but when specialty cards usually start at $4-$5, that's a 20% price difference. Do with what you will. I still love to pick up some stationery everywhere I go, and Portage Bay Goods has a fantastic collection. The cards are fairly diverse in style and sense of humor, along with a nice array of cute and endearing cards. If you're looking for serious cards / letterpress / wedding-style paper, this is probably not the place for you (go check out Pike Street Letterpress!), but this is a great one-stop shop for all other stationery lovers.”

We got home and immediately opened our vinegars and oils.We picked; date bacon vinegar, red onion balsamic, Tuscan herbs evoo, and Novello evoo. We love each one but I think date bacon is my favorite!”

“Probably my favorite boutique shop of decorations, jewelry, stationary, gifts, etc. I have shopped hear for years and their buyer just has amazing taste. The prices are a little on the hide side but they are aligned with the quality of the products - I am just a little frugal. At every turn, there is literally something I would LOVE to have and that is NOT how I am when I shop. The service lacks. In fact, they may actually be chained to the desk with the register since they never leave it. :). Even when I ask them a question, they answer it from there. They are not rude but they are not really friendly but they do get the job done. Note the return policy is only 14 days so if you aren't 100% sure, just make sure you have time in the next 2 weeks to potentially return it. They do not make exceptions. Note that there is an upstairs which has furniture and wall decorations. That is also where the clearance items are. It is a shop you want to make sure you check out when in this cool downtown Kirkland area. You will love it!”
