The entrance to the right reeks so badly every time I go through it. I finally realized it's because the bathrooms are near there. I can smell it all the way into the freezer aisles and a couple after to the left. This store location is extremely busy, so the checkout lines - both cashiered and self checkout ones hang out into the walkways and further, especially on weekends and even on weekday afternoons. For the longest time, they never opened the self checkout area by the bathrooms, but they finally did last Saturday. I was so surprised and didn't notice it until too late on my way out. I've been waiting over a year or even longer for it.The person working the seafood area was very nice and helpful, but the signs on the glass are confusing about what fish come with free seasonings to choose from. The alcohol section is sectioned off, so you have to pay before continuing shopping if you buy any alcohol from there. There's not much room at the cashier there, so people should only pay for alcohol and a few small things at most over there or else it takes forever with their one cashier.I grew up by the Greenwood Fred Meyer and visited the Lake City one regularly for a few years, and those ones are way bigger and nicer inside than the Shoreline store. This one is more grocery store focused, while the others are like a grocery and department store mix with better clothing and electronics selections.

Been coming here for years, I never expect same day service because there are now understaffed. If I have a question the pharmacist is of great help.

I was so excited to come here as it's part of the northwest experience in my opinion. They did away with the indoor seating since COVID and there's just a small Starbucks inside. Sushi is a bunch of California rolls and they have some fried chicken options. Even the local Ralph's does a better job of sandwiches and food options. Ended up turning around and leaving. What a shame.

Since when is it Fred Meyer policy to ask for your receipt when leaving with a cart of stuff that is not bagged obviously because it's soda? Yeah I won't be shopping here anymore. You lost me as a customer. I'll go to Central Market/Town & Country instead.

One checkout line at shoreline Fred Meyer on a Sunday night. The line went all the way down the aisle and management did nothing.

This is the WORST pharmacy in Seattle. First and foremost they gave my personal information to strangers twice. Violating my HIPPA rights. My next complaint is they lie to me, they say that my medication won’t be in until tomorrow and it takes weeks for me to have my medication in hand. My last complaint is the staff when they are not lying to me or giving out my personal information, I had a security guard come out of the store and snatch a soda out of my hand because he thought I had stolen it. So if you want your personal medical information given out to random people, if you want to be lied to about when your going to get your meds, and if you want to be treated terrible by the staff Fred Myer shoreline is the place for you!!!

This isn't their biggest location so some inventory was limited but met my basic needs. Garden Dept was especially helpful. Thank you.

I transferred from elsewhere. They made it as easy as possible for how complicated it was. And I asked questions that were complicated and they did their best to answer. For a place that has this much crime around it oh, and as much chaos. They handle it very well and they were very polite.

This Fred Meyer chain is near to our place. For a new resident of Washington it was confusing as to which grocery chain to stick to. I mean to our surprise grocery in Seattle is expensive than Los Angeles. Hmm. Going through the other chain stores like Safeway and QFC we found Fred Meyer to be somewhat better. They have ample of parking space available. They have weekly deals and coupons which you can get when you sign up for them. I haven't received and any coupons in the mail as I was told but I have downloaded their App on which I can see those coupons and save them on my Fred Meyer rewards card which at check out is applied. We purchased Fuji apples from this store and they were very yummy and juicy. They not only keep grocery but other stuff as well. More like an expensive Walmart if you will.

Until the criminals are removed from the parking area and along the street do not go to this Fred Meyer. Criminals with stolen dogs begging for money with stolen items have been getting away with leave their trash, stolen items, stolen dogs, threatening customers and leave dirty needles for over 2 years now. They also leave their human waste around the parking lot areas. This brings in all types of diseases. Until laws protect us, the consumer, please avoid this Fred Meyer for your own safety and your children's safety. This is just as bad as the Seattle area businesses. I thought Shoreline still had "law and order?" I guess not. Many of the staff will NOT help you out if you are threatned by the alleged criminals begging for money to use for drugs outside of the business. DO NOT GO HERE until things are cleaned up and the police have their rights back to protect us. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGS IN THE CAR. The alleged criminals will break windows to steal your dogs. ALWAYS CHIP YOUR DOGS AND MAKE SURE THE CHIP IS UP TO DATE WITH ALL YOUR INFO. MAKE sure that people can contact you if your dog is stolen. It is THAT BAD out here and with the laws changing to continue to protect the criminals who trash our city and steal our pets, this will only get worse. GO SOMEWHERE else where you can feel safe. NOT HERE.

Some of the long time staff here are wonderful, but lately the store has been hiring new employees who are rude, sullen and don't wear their masks. I hate going in this store now because it seems so dirty and germ-filled. The mask mandate is not enforced, and the new staff can be seen with their masks around their chins, or taking them off completely. This is a failure of management.

I started getting my prescriptions here about a week ago and have called a few times trying to get updates about my transfer and whenever I'd get on the phone I would get an Asian lady that works here and she's always been very rude to me, even in person when I tried to ask then. She doesn't understand English very well it seems and she gets frustrated when I have questions, which I can understand but it doesn't make it okay for her to raise her voice at me everytime. I called today too for a refill, got her again and politely told her I couldn't hear her and she raised her voice at me again: "I never said anything, only said one minute!" It made me feel like I shouldn't have said anything in the first place, and made me quite uncomfortable. I apologized and she did not acknowledge my apology at all. She is very unprofessional and rude. Something needs to be done about that.
