Very great location. We’re love the updates throughout the day and are glad they take good care of our daughter.

I think everyone considering this daycare should be aware that management has changed and that you should now take the prior negative reviews with a grain of salt. The old director left several months ago and has been replaced with Jill Whitehouse. This has been such a positive change!!! Prior to this, we had tons of issues with how the previous director ran things. She was incompetent and unprofessional as others have mentioned.Jill, however, is extremely communicative, professional, organized. She genuinely cares about the health and safety of the children and we feel that the center is now under much tighter supervision. After less than one week after taking over, she knew our baby by name (and all the other kids too). That made us feel confident that the children are being well cared for. The teachers have always been wonderful (especially Dolce and Natalia in the infant room) but since taking over, we have noticed that all staff seems much more relaxed. They are still short staffed sometimes but it doesn't seem to affect the care of the children anymore and they are in the process of hiring more teachers. Before Jill took over, this place was a total mess. Now, I feel confident and comfortable every time I drop off my baby. She even cries sometimes when she has to leave!

Beyond thrilled with care and stability the Ballinger Shoreline KinderCare team provides now that new leadership is in place. The Director, Jill, has a calm, stable presence based in more than 10 years of experience in early education. She provides transparent communication to families and her team, and in turn her team is empowered to communicate with families in the same way. There is a bonus Director, Macie, who has nearly 10 years of early education experience. Her happy, welcoming presence is a gift. Together they are growing an incredible team and we adore our child’s teachers. We get pictures and updates throughout the day on our child's activities, naps, meals and snacks through the KinderCare app. The facility used to be a Montessori school so the classrooms are huge. There is a giant indoor gym so kids can play in there when weather or air quality prevents them from safely being outside. There are two, outdoor play areas for different age groups. The equipment, toys and books are all new. The chef provides a wide variety of tasty, balanced meals and snacks to the point that our child prefers daycare food. I could go on and on about how much we love this daycare. Sticking with this location through the extremely rough start was the best decision we've made for our child's care because I do not want them to be anywhere else.

Wonderful Daycare , if I could give more than 5 stars I would . The Staff and director are nice and friendly, the care the children receive is excellent , the center is just filled with positivity I love it , had terrible experiences with other centers this center exceeded my expectations , they go above and beyond !!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the this KinderCare facility. This new location suffers from severe understaffing, compromising the quality of care provided to the children. The daily Kinder app photo consistently focuses on my child's mistakes rather than promoting a positive environment. The director's suitability to working with children is questionable, as she prioritizes sales over genuine care. Her lack of accountability and peculiar relationship with the teachers further add to my concerns. I cannot recommend this KinderCare location due to these issues. The new store was severely understaffed, seriously affecting the quality of care provided to the children. Daily Kinder app photos always highlight my kids' mistakes. The person in charge doesn't have any teacher qualities, it's terrible, don't send your kids here.

My daughter had been going here since the day they opened. It is the best care she has received in the area! The PK5 teachers are the best! My daughter loves the facility and asks to hug Ms. Sondra (the director) every day before we leave. I have not felt this safe about dropping my child off in years.

The director has absolutely no idea what she is doing. She says she is there to support you, but then turns around, and flips a 180. Highly unprofessional work environment, director chooses favorites and let's violations slide if you're one of them. I had concerns about child safety and how children were being treated, but she just dismissed them like nothing, I would think twice about taking my kids there. I loved the job and the kids but I just couldn't be around a place where they cared more about themselves than the children's safety. She only cares about saving face to her district leaders and making it look like she's the one doing everything. You're not allowed to talk to the parents about certain things because they don't need to know that information according to her. Constantly changing work schedule on her whims, tries to guilt trip you about taking time off. The staff besides the director and her select favorites are absolutely amazing, and deserve so much more appreciation than they're getting!

I worked at this establishment, it’s ~3 min walking away from me. They have a very high turnover rate (they lost around 9 staff prior to even opening) and the director has poor boundaries with her staff. I would personally not recommend sending a child here.
