“OMG, Arne's is absolutely fantastic!!! Carlos is the owner now, and his customer service is outstanding. Someone at the Washington Department of Ecology recommended them and I have been going there for everything automotive since. It has been seven or eight years now and I would NEVER, EVER consider going somewhere else. Carlos takes the time to make you feel well taken care of and you definitely are. The prices are extremely reasonable and clearly explained. I trust Carlos absolutely and know that he would never do anything on my 2001 car that isn't absolutely needed. He even is willing to go to bat for me with my insurance company if he feels they have not estimated my repairs adequately. Long live Arne's!!!”

I recently brought my Subaru in with a bad oil leak and he quickly diagnosed the issue, and did an awesome job on replacing my head gaskets, timing chains, and tensioners for a fair price. My engine was cleaned up and looked brand new when I picked up the car. He even took the time to walk me through the repair process while I was there. Highly recommend!”

“First off, not all Les Schwab locations function equally so consider this a location based review.I first came here for tires a little over a year ago after a friend had been through some mishaps at other locations and had a good experience. They were great! Fast and kind even though I can be a bit of a nervous person.I recently had a bad experience with another location and couldn't decide if I should leave and try this location or not. I struggle to complain because: - everyone has bad days and - you never know what's actually causing the problem behind the scenes. (I don't like getting people in trouble for reacting to bad situations.)I digress. I called this location (Shoreline) and explained my difficulties. I was immediately taken care of and understood. I drove up and they got me in and out post haste (maybe an hour?) with everything done. (I realized after the fact I hadn't even had a chance to ask about tire rotation which was likely needed and they just did it. They even reset the TPMS without asking which doesn't always happen...even when you ask... when you get tire service. (how many times my car manufacturer has not reset this has become a game for me. Love getting my brakes done w/ balance...only to set off and leave the TMPS flagged.)Anyhow. Quick and Kind even when I'm not at my best. I don't know a better way to thank them than reviews. So here yah go:Go here. They may be upper edge tire cost wise but if you look into tire reviews they have a good range of prices for well rated tires(going cheaper you're going to be running in to quality sacrifices) and their service is awesome! It pays for itself in the long run. Trust. If you're my friend and need help, I'll go begging for yah. ?I don't think I've ever had a tire shop I've felt comfortable or confident with in 35 years of driving until now.Thanks again guys!”

“Our catalytic converter was stolen, and replacing it at the dealer's would have been outrageously expensive. These guys replaced it (with one that isn't a target for theft) quickly and for a reasonable price. Got the car there at 8am and was out in less than two hours. Nice guys, good work!”

“I called around 4pm friday trying to get an appointment in this week for a check engine light and they were able to squeeze an appointment in on monday morning for me. It was in by 8am and out by 5pm. Note, I am a younger woman who has been taken advantage of at mechanics in the past so i am wary of where i go. However, i was able to work with Steve who guided me through the process and was eager to answer any questions i had about the maintenance. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel like my car was in good hands. I had a full inspection performed and an email sent to me for diagnostics. I LOVED this. It allowed to know what was wrong before the call so that i didnt have to make so much of a in-the-moment decision when it came time to decide what to repair. Also the pricing for their services was appropriate from what ive seen for my situation and had a AAA discount. Overall, i personally would recommend this place over any dealorship”

“Great car buying experience! We visited on our way to an appointment because we saw a car on their website we wanted to consider. Michael R. met us at the door and we went for a ride. While we didn't make a decision at that visit, we did call later to see if we could purchase the vehicle. “Bought a brand new 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV at Chuck Olson Chevy. After driving the car home about 65 miles away, there was an error and found out the car needed a transmission fluid pump and should not be driven. The Chevy EV concierge service had it towed to the closest certified Bolt repair center (Titus Will Chevy). Titus Will stated that the part was on backorder at the factory, and they had to wait for either the factory to produce the parts or checking stock at another dealership to see if they had the part and was willing to sell it to them. Titus Will could not give me a date and stated it might be 2 weeks or months before I would get the car back. I emailed the owner of Chuck Olson Chevy with a timeline of facts and asked what could be done. Greg authorized his shop to take the part off a car on the lot to get my Bolt back on the road. While the two dealerships were working out the details, another dealership released part. After 17 days of purchasing the vehicle issue was resolved. I have heard other owners with the same issue for months now and still haven't gotten their cars repaired. Thanks to the owner of Chuck Olson Chevy for offering to fix the issue if no part could be found.”

“They know what they're talking about and selling. They consistently provide me with exactly what I need. You won't find these gentlemen passing off generic parts as OEM.Buying directly from a local business means you not only support the local economy, but you have peace of mind knowing you purchased a genuine part. A few years ago, in a pinch, I purchased a cage wheel online. Within 24 hours the supposedly OEM plastic cage wheel spontaneously destroyed itself, taking out the sail switch and littering the furnace and ducts with shrapnel. Upon closer inspection the cage wheel was not OEM - void of manufacturer information.I would love to see this independent family run shop and retail space returned to what it was before online competition gutted their local market.Everything I've purchased so far has cost me less than buying a mystery product online. Unlike the corporations who've bought out local shops and inflated prices, these fine folks do not inflate their prices. Which is why, in my experience, their authentic parts have been cheaper than online and chain dealership parts departments.Indeed their hours are not convenient for all. The reason is simply, their operations had to be scaled back to remain competitive without raising prices to keep the part store open longer hours with hired staff. I would love to see this shop so busy they have no choice but to hire staff and reopen the big beautiful main floor retain space again.Thank you gentlemen for all of your assistance and quality parts and services.Cheers!Cameron”
