After almost four years of my beloved cat William Bell bravely fighting an aggressive lymphoma, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible team at AMCS. This journey took us through six clinics across four states in two different countries, always looking for a place where the team’s intentions felt genuine and compassionate. Too often, veterinary care can feel profit-driven, so finding a team that understands the care extends to both pet and owner is invaluable.
The AMCS team exceeded my expectations, with compassion and professionalism in every interaction. Special thanks to Dr. Katie Robinson, who initiated William’s treatment and guided us early on; Dr. Nick Szigetvari, an exceptional doctor whom I truly ADORE ? and took care of us; and Dr. Mary Davis, who went above and beyond to fit William into her schedule during his final days, offering me the reassurance I needed to make difficult choices thoughtfully. Her patient guidance helped me feel confident and not rushed in those critical moments. To everyone who played a role — whether in reception, the wonderful triage team, or any of the dedicated staff who worked closely with the doctors — your kindness and care provided incredible comfort during this challenging time. Each of you contributed in ways that were equally meaningful to me, and I cannot thank you enough.
The AMCS team went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures that meant a lot to me. After William’s passing, they honored him by sending a beautiful candle, and just days later, a handwritten letter arrived, which moved me to tears. They handled everything, including billing, with fairness and empathy - never pushing unnecessary expenses and always providing clear, balanced options at every step.
For any pet owner seeking a team that values both high-quality medical care and genuine human compassion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Animal Medical Center of Seattle. Thank you for being part of William’s journey. I will always be grateful and keep you in my heart!

I spent 6500 with your organization in a day.
We arrived at 630am. It took a half hour to get someone out to the car as you were afraid of kennel cough.
From there my dog stayed in a metal kennel of yours, as told by his gps, for the next 12 hours until you finally got around to doing something with him. If you could not do his procedure until much later that day - you had an obligation to tell us so we could determine where he would be most comfortable for that wait instead of leaving us in the lurch for 12 hours.
We were told we would be next up at 630am, and I sat in your lobby until 10am and watched as no other more urgent case came in through your front door. An ultrasound was done at 2pm - where again you told us there was something foreign in his body. At 8pm an endoscopy was done that found nothing was in his body. How is there no material change between the xray we got at timberline at 3am to the ultrasound you did at 2pm but there is nothing found at 8pm. You are out to make money off of concerned pet parents irregardless of if the case is meritable.
Your desk staff lacks any sort of personal touch in situations where this should be their priority. You are either woefully understaffed or don’t care about your pet parent customers.

October 2024 by E Long,
Our sweet dog died shortly after taking him to Animal Medical Center of Seattle. They diagnosed a large brain tumor, he yelped so terribly- for hours. Orig. doctor very skilled. Problem was they sent us home without any pain medication. We were told we had what we ne we needed in the bag. He screamed all the way home. We didn't realize until got home pain meds not in bag. We called. Even though we had just been there, they insisted we bring him back in, screaming in terrible pain, in order to get the pain meds. He could have stayed home! It was torture. Hard to even drive with him in such pain. Got back to hospital, front staff not expressing concern, then made us wait in exam room almost 2 hrs.. A vet tech came in told us (while our dog continued to yelp and scream) that we had to wait because other animals had "more important needs" (even though all the exam rooms looked empty, nobody in waiting room, and no sounds anywhere). I had to tell her the doctor had just diagnosed the large inoperable brain tumor just a short time before. She never checked records. She insisting we see another vet and we waited with our poor dog almost 2 more hours as he was inconsolably crying (2am by then). New vet didn't even give him an exam and reported it was a policy issue. Our sweet boy suffered his last day of life in so much pain.......he should have been cared for by the staff , and the staff and policies could have prevented this level of pain. Our sweet boy passed soon after. Weeks later I reported to the hospital. Was told corrections were being addressed and we would be contacted soon. Calls and follow-up were promised, but even though I reached out again and again, they didn't care enough to contact us with any corrective action in their policies /process. We will never use this hospital again. Would not recommend them for anyone. Lack of concern, unkind and unprofessional tech, policies that don't support compassionate care of pets, even close to death.

My pup has been seen the specialty department here for neurology and GI. Visits are always timely and thorough. My pet recently had surgery and the aftercare support was amazing. I loved that I could call and get questions answered quickly. Sometimes the person answering the phone was qualified to answer my questions, especially around medication, which was extremely helpful and there was to wait.

We have always been very satisfied with the care our diabetic cat has received. Dr. Spry is very caring, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful personality. I would recommend Animal Medical Center 100% for whatever needs your animals may have.

We have been seeing our veterinarian dentist, doctor Diane Carle, for the past 6-7 years, and the care we've received has been consistently outstanding. She is highly professional and extremely knowledgeable, always ensuring that our dog's dental health is in top shape. Her team is careful, compassionate, and clearly animal-loving, which gives us peace of mind during every visit. We go at least once a year for dental cleanings and return whenever any issues arise, knowing we are in the best hands. The level of attention and care they provide is unmatched. I highly recommend her and her wonderful team for anyone seeking top-notch dental care for their pets.

The biggest mistake I made was NOT coming to Animal Medical Center in the first place, wasted more money at a different emergency vet that did absolutely nothing to help and actually made things worse. Animal Medical Center has an amazing staff, they are thorough, and have a wide variety of specialty (oncology, dentist, radiologist) services available which is nice as a one stop shop. I was SO nervous and anxious about leaving my dog overnight at a hospital all alone, but the staff there made me feel comfortable and like they took really great care of her. Definitely will only be going here from now on.

The attention to my pet, and all the animals I have seen coming and going while in the lobby is so positive.
In times of duress for animals and their families, the staff all show such care and responsiveness: all the way from front desk, intake and the specialists are top notch care!
