Awesome, if I could give 10 stars, I would. I had to go and put my Nalla to her forever home and the love and respect they gave me. Awesome. If you're in that place. Hit them up, and a special much love and respect to Kimberly your awesome.

Our 15 year old cat was suffering and we contacted the vet to talk about putting our four-legged friend out of her misery. A very difficult call to make. I described the situation with our cat, asked for help, and was told two things: "We are not taking new patients;" and "we are scheduling three months out if your pet is a patient." I contacted Haigh Veterinary Clinic, and the owner came to my home and helped us. My family members had previously used this vet, for 50 years; our family had previously used this vet, for dogs and cats, with great success. Our current cat was fixed there, but that apparently did not "make him a patient," in their opinion, and we were been directed to get any care for our cat elsewhere. We will do so. The compassion and empathy they exhibited during such a personally painful time for my family will not soon be forgotten. If it were possible to give them a negative rating, I would; they have earned it.

Looking over these 1 star reviews leaves me very disappointed that reviewers would leave such a low rating because they can't get an appointment. How is this the Vet's fault?
If you know a Veterinarian send them McCann's way. They are booked out 6 months because of a national Veterinarian shortage. It's not like they are doing it maliciously. Victimizing yourself because you can't get an appointment is ridiculous. They are doing the best they can. It's no wonder there's a Vet shortage with how awful the general population treats veterinary staff when they don't get their way.
My dogs and cats have been treated amazingly by the staff. They have a voicemail system now, and although I have to wait 6 months to be seen, Dr. McCann is an amazing Vet with a big heart. The front staff are also great. When I brought in my senior dog a few years ago to be put to rest, the assistants had tears in their eyes - they genuinely care about these animals. 10/10

It's a busy place but they have a system of the owner coming in alone to check in and then return to his car with a buzzer. When that sounds, he comes in with his pet. I was very impressed by the technician and doctor. They treated my very nervous cat with tenderness and patience to put her at ease and the cost was very reasonable. Very satisfied with the treatment, professionalism, and friendliness of everyone at the clinic.

Been a customer of Shelton Veterinary Hospital for 20+ years with Dr. Olson. Since he retired a year ago this place is not worth anything. They are not busy but it takes at least 1/2 a year to be seen, even in an emergency. Dr. Olson would give his time to an animal whenever and whatever the circumstances. If you could not pay at the time it didn't matter to him. The animals were more important than money to him. This new vet., Dr. McCann is the complete opposite. The office is never open to assist customers and their animals no matter what. They have an office manager (I guess that is her title) whom is Dr. Mccann's large puppy as she responds to all the Dr.'s email and phone calls just like a puppet. Horrible place now and I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else where the Dr. (if you call her that) actually loves her job, not just how much $ she makes.

Dr Olson had spent 60 creating HIS LOVING VETERINARIAN BUSINESS!
It WAS WONDERFUL experience!
Only to have it RAN INTO GROUND by an inexperienced vet business owner!
96% of time only automated phone answering & no return call backs!
You can NOT GET IN to see his old partner Dr McC even if it life & death emergency!! No matter how long you have been Dr Olsen patient!! 8 pets near a decade of business with him….
Oh and it’s a 5-7 month wait for appointment!!!
Talk about BIT OFF MORE THAN SHE CAN CHEW!! Literally
Go to Lacy THERE ARE GREAT VETs available to take better care of you & your FURR BABIES!!
