I accidentally left my wallet inside the car when I left the store and I called him as soon as I got home and they actually are saving it for me so I'm really thankful for that. But I will say the checkout lady I had was absolutely beyond painfully slow as all hell irritating as heck

Check your recipts ! The just for you app. Either dosent clip my coupons or dosent register my discounts nearly every other time. I'm talking $15 and $11 discounts. ! So safways corporate should get on this. As why would I come if I have to get in line for a refund of a discount that should have been applied the first time. A visit that should be 15-20 min ends up being an hour of my precious time.
As for the person complaining about prosecution for theft. While I fully agree. I've worked at big corporate chains. They have insurance called shrink. I'm not sure all what's covered or what us price hikes. But if your worried about theft these places have laws they must obide by. So your best bet is to take it to your law makers !!! They are who needs do prosecution. This place is watched trust me. I've complained about being looked at all the time when I pay for all my groceries. Another thing is price hikes are INFLATION . Thank your president for that.

Very nice store with friendly attentive staff. I'm just suffering a little sticker shock at the price of groceries. Is was the first time I've been in there.
Store layout was great and easy to find what you were looking for.
Occasional overhead announcement announced that you could shop on the app, including if you have prescriptions to pick up and they will bring it out to you when you arrive.
Customers were nice as to always moving to the other side of the aisle.
It definitely helps to use the app and I also use a program called Ibotta for extra savings.

The staff here are excellent, but the selection and choices of what is stocked in what quantity is terrible. The Safeway pricing is already pretty terrible, especially for the Safeway products' quality, but when they have such poor choices on top of it, it makes the whole thing just feel worse.

Needed to get just a few small things today. Didn't see any hand carts, so I asked staff. Oh, we don't have them anymore. Why not? I asked. They keep getting stolen. What!? Oh yea, people fill grocery carts with food & walk out. Nothing we can do, I was told. Listen- when people steal from the store , they steal from you & me. The store just raises prices to cover the loss. Stand up for your customers & prosecute theft!
