Only 2 fans in the whole place! Stretching/yoga room had both, AND DOORS OPEN(safety issue) and would not share even 1 fan with cardio area (ellipticals) had to wait till they finished and they had coolest area of gym with all doors in area propped open! NEED MORE FANS especially as cardio equipment does NOT have built in fans. As a disabled person with medical issues FANS are Important! Also in response to weird beard review- as a disabled person the bathroom TP is almost impossible to use, he is right!

Pros: Friendly knowledgeable and supportive staff, 24 hour member access, a nice variety of equipment considering the smaller size of the gym and I enjoy the size of this gym.Of course this is where I slam the gym that I totally love going to so; Room for improvement: Please fix the bathroom lights. The bathroom lights should work at all times with no questions or guessing. If any bathroom is having any lighting issue it should be closed to the public. This is a standard safety issue as well as a glaring customer service shortcoming that needs to be addressed immediately.Please fix the wraps on the weight machines. The missing or damaged handle wraps on some of the stationary equipment is not only unsafe as it creates an uneven gripping service, it is also a glaring customer service issue. Please get rid of all broken equipment. For example, any fans that don't work or can't be adjusted, any chairs or tables that are unsafe or damaged, etc.If you're going to save money by doing in house janitorial it needs to be done on a professional level to promote a clean, sanitary environment. There are stains on the wall and handle bars in one of the bathrooms that have been there for months. This means that when the bathrooms are being cleaned not all touch points are being cleaned all the time. This is never ok. Missing this once here and there is understandable but this has been several weeks and it's in a plain to see spot. The floors do get regularly vacuumed however I see very little evidence that the aerobics room is ever swept or mopped in an ongoing and meaningful way. Again, missing something occasionally is understandable. It is also difficult to properly clean and sanitize an environment like a gym if you're not a professional cleaner. You need to make a check list and do it regularly and thoroughly and have management follow up or you need to hire it done. The TP dispensers need to be higher on the wall as they are extremely difficult to get TP out of especially if it was put in the dispenser without being started. Go ahead and try it then be honest and you'll see it's way too hard to get the paper out the way it is now. The last thing a disabled person needs is to wrestle with the toilet paper dispenser.I understand that times are hard and I can appreciate how much everyone is being asked to do these days. I simply feel that these are a few things that you absolutely cannot cut back on.Thanks.

AF has an amazing staff. Customer service is outstanding from the front office to personnel trainners. You all are welcoming and supportive of your members and one another, keep up the good work.

5 stars hands down! AF Shelton has the friendliest and most helpful staff. It’s always very clean and for a gym on the smaller side, it has everything you need. & the hours (even with the holidays) are the best.

Everyone is friendly I’ve worked out here since 2019, I’ve worked out at the gyms in this location and found a home at anytime. The new management is great we’ve updated some equipment and have more staff.

Smaller gym that has everything you need for a great workout. Friendly staff that is helpful and always keeping the gym clean. 24/7 is always a bonus too.

I’ve tried a few gyms in the area and found Anytime Fitness works best with what I’m looking for. I don’t have a set workout schedule and their 24/7 availability was HUGE for me. This place has a welcome feel, and didn’t have that typical gym judgment vibe. Good crowd, never too busy. Great place.

This place is a 10 out of 10. The staff is friendly and energetic, the equipment and gym are well maintained, and the community is welcoming and inclusive. If you want a gym that comes with fun, energy and comradery, I highly recommend this anytime fitness.

A very underrated gym in a growing town. This place has everything you need and the staff are very accommodating towards your needs. I’d recommend and vouch for this gym to anyone looking to achieve their goals consistently.

In desperate need of a face-lift. Could take 12 screws and four hours to increase quality over 25%. Might be worth the money, but in the way of anytime fitness clubs go this one is pretty bad.My photo is just one of dozens upon dozens of things.
