Agate Store is a family run and owned local pit stop that has been in the area for over 40 years. It is a mom and pop type convenience store with a pretty nice selection for its small size, stocked well with standard and some lesser known items. The atmosphere is easy to shop with open aisles and quick checkouts. It is known for having the best biscuits and gravy in town. The employees provide great friendly customer service and the store has fair prices. The parking lot is a bit small but sufficient for the quick in-and-out visits most customers make. While the gas pump does not work, the store itself is a clean and appreciated local resource that saves many a longer drive to town.
The service is always good and the people are very nice.

40+years and I still love the place. Best Biscuits and Gravy in town. Just wish they would make more so I wouldn't have to get there so early to get some.
