I’m not sure if they knew I was still onsite or if the even cared but our puppy had her first grooming appointment today. I watched as they put her in the bath and back in the kennel. They returned her to me wet, claiming they couldn’t finish her bath she was so terribly behaved then proceeded to charge me $55 for a service they didn’t finish. She is an 18 week old puppy, getting groomed for the first time. Maybe the groomer who worked on her should work in a different field. Don’t EVER take your puppy here, especially for the first grooming experience. My dog is traumatized and will never want to be groomed again after this experience.

I went in to return a retractable leash I bought the day before because it broke. I didn’t have the packaging or receipt since I assumed I would be using the leash and wouldn’t need to keep all that. The cashier was able to find my purchase and refund me the money rather quickly. Plus he was super friendly. When the manager was called to help with the return, she was quick and kind. It’s too bad I don’t live near this Petco because their customer service is much better than the ones near me!

Great Customer Service. Cashier noticed something was missing on an item I picked up and there weren't any others in stock. I really wanted the item and before I could ask she offered a discount. Thank you!

My old cats,both near 16 years old,had to change the catfood.one was puking and the other was losing weight. They helped me find the food I needed for older cats.the one hasn't puked as offen and the other is putting on some weight.

I have a business breeding birds, and I often meet clients outside the store to drop off birds that people have reserved from me. This reservation usually happens months in advance and then the person meets me to take their pet.
I ask people to meet me at Petco because I hope that if they have any last minute needs for their bird, they will be able to find it at the store.
I have done this many times and never had an issue. I also shop frequently at Petco in person nd online. I even bought a fairly expensive ball python here. Most of the staff have been very kind to me.
Unfortunately today I think Tammy ruined this relationship by coming outside as I WAS STILL SPEAKING TO MY CLIENTS and reprimanded me for “selling reptiles right in front of the store” and informed me that I had to do so in a distant part of the parking lot. Mind you, I have never actually sold anything there. Everything is just a drop off. I’m not opening my trunk and hanging a sign that says “animals for sale” and handing them out to the first people with cash to come along. I did swipe a card today… for a tiny bag of bird food that is a brand Petco doesn’t even carry.
My husband had planned to go into the store to get some supplies for our fish and reptiles, but Tammy ensured that we didn’t do that either with her poor attitude. You’d think she could at least find a polite way to ask us to do things differently than just saying “you CANT do this!”
But that’s okay. There’s petsense in port Angeles who price matches and lots of online options. It might be less convenient but I don’t want to spend my money where I’m not welcome. Thanks for letting us know, Tammy!

I know this is a problem with all PetCos these days and not specfic to this one but it's still heartbreaking seeing so many dead and dying animals whenever i go into this location. Today was the worst I've ever seen it and we will no longer be buying products from them. Whenever we walk in we see animals near death- hamsters with no water, obviously sick reptiles and literal piles of dead fish in the tanks.( Look closely at the pictures i took today, very few of the fish are actually alive.) I'm appalled at how Pet Co treats animals. Also the prices are insane, for example, they want almost $30 for the same brand of dog harness that Walmart is asking $16 for across the street! Can NOT recommend giving this location, or any Pet Co your money. We certainly won't be supporting them ever again.

Everyone was very helpful in the store to help us locate what we had come to purchase. They walked us to the product we were inquiring about.
