Bonita's Pet Supplies
10159 Old Olympic Hwy, SequimDoes this store have a wide selection of products? No, but it is in a small space in a little strip mall and they do what they can with the space allowed. I would not have known of this place if I hadn't seen their booth at the Port Angeles Home Show last spring. I like this store because it is small, the staff is friendly, and they always greet me and ask if I need assistance when I come in. They have a resident calico ready for petting too! I come here because they have a nice array of bulk dog biscuits similar to the ones I could get at a Mud Bay Granary, but there is no MBG near here. I find the biscuit selection to be better than the nearby Petco.

Country Paw's Resort
42 Dory Rd, SequimThis place is the best. On a couple of different occasions now, Country Paw's has gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my Catahoula, Louie.
Their facility is truly one-of-a-kind and the care given and taken is evident on every level.
The peace of mind that comes with knowing your dog is in a safe, clean space with staff who truly care about each occupant cannot be quantified. I am so grateful for this place and the amazing care (and setting!) they provide.
I highly recommend their services.

Greywolf Veterinary Hospital
1102 E Washington St, SequimIn 2020 I rushed my 3 year old tabby cat Albus to them and found he needed emergency services. They didn't talk about payment right then as we discussed surgery. I then went to the front to pay the $30 copay and then a friend wired them $866 of his $1386 bill hat same day and we and set up a payment plan.
2 months later same problem and tho Greywolf was full with emergency cases they referred me to Olympic Vet in PA who I am sad to say we're not great as Greywolf. Olympic nearly turned us away cause of the ongoing payment plan with Grewolf. In the end Albus had to be sadly euthanized.
I really wish Greywolf had been the ones to assist Albie over the rainbow bridge because they are so kind and caring. Dr. Tyler was his usual vet. And the staff sent me flowers and lovely sympathy card after they were informed of Albus passing. They go above and beyond for their patients.
I finished paying the bill off 3 months after his passing. I wish I still lived in Sequim cause they'd be the only vet I'd use for my now 4 kitties: Primrose, Maggie, Jack and Huey.

Pacific Northwest Veterinary Hospital
289 W Bell St, SequimDr. Allen is an awesome vet who cares about all animals. Even ones that are not her normal patients. We were traveling through Port Angeles when our Bouvier became very sick. We were not able to get any other vet to help us but Dr. Allen came through for us. We can't thank you enough!

Susan Baillie DVM
202 N 7th Ave, SequimI called before they opened and got a call back only 10 minutes after they opened. They got my new puppy in within the hour. They gave me the steroid and antibiotics that she needed right there so I didn’t have to go to the pharmacy. Dr. Black coordinated with a specialist in Seattle to save my pup’s eye. So grateful for quick and amazing care. The entire staff I dealt with was so kind and understanding. So grateful for their services!!

All the doctors we've seen there with our two Vizslas have been patient, kind, and informative. Everyone cares about the animals and give us all the time we need to ask questions. African Sky Kennel
414 W Pine St, SequimBelinda has set a high standard of care for our fur baby. She is a wonderful and caring human being. Loki loves spending time with her. It's a home away from home for her. Her facility is immaculate. I cannot imagine a better place to take our pup when we have to leave her behind. There are not enough stars to leave for the work she does with your four legged family member. Thank you Belinda for the attention you show our pups while they are in your care. I trust no one with our Loki like I trust Belinda. Thank you!!

Uptown Cats
1076 Towne Rd, SequimHer Highness stayed at Uptown Cats in Sequim for about two weeks this Spring. When I picked her up she seemed very content and only mildly interested in seeing me. Apparently she enjoyed her time at Uptown Cats, watching birds from the window in her room and playing in the play area. I'm so relieved there is a good place close to home to board Her Highness.

David Family Taqueria
300 E Washington St, SequimI come from California so you can imagine what I expect when it comes to authentic Mexican street tacos. This place hits those check marks across the board! My entire family loves eating here, including my husband which says a WHOLE LOT! The food is always delicious and made fresh. I usually do pick up order cause kids - but it is a cute little spot to enjoy intimate dining. The pricing is good, and you get a lot of food! 10/10 highly recommend. Definitely a staple in the town, and our go-to when we decide to eat out! Never disappoints

Salty Girls Seafood Co
210 W Washington St #3, SequimOn the way to Victoria via the Black Ball Ferry, we opted for a quick stop at Salty Girls in Sequim for lunch. This was on a Friday and the place was empty when we got there at 11:30. Ordering is usually done via QR code, but they are also happy to orders at the register. One thing to note: on our visit, the restaurant left the front door open and didn't turn on heating so we found it rather cold inside. Clam Chowder in Sourdough Bread Bowl ($14) - Salty Girls has one of the best preparations for chowder bread bowls I've encountered. They expertly hollow out the center as much as absolutely possible, leaving maybe only half an inch of bread on the sides (I think they use the trimmings to make their homemade croutons). This allows them to ladle in the maximal amount of clam chowder, much more than most I've had in the past. While I believe the bread is some commercial one, it has a distinct, but light, sourdough taste and doesn't have the overwhelming taste of stabilizers and preservatives that some bread bowls run into. It's toasted very nicely, giving a fantastic crust, while the interior bread remains light rather than dense, yet holds up to the chowder well. The chowder itself is pretty good. It's thickened, but still just runny enough to not feel like it's been over reduced. Not clumpy or super heavy as some other chowders. There's a strong herbal quality in the mix, combined with large pieces of clam and bacon. The amount of clam isn't very generous, but there's enough of the chewy mollusk to get at least a piece per spoonful. Lots of tender diced potato chunks complete the chowder. There's by far the most potato in terms of ingredients in this dish, making it very carb heavy. The chowder is served steaming hot and remains quite hot for a long while even in the cold air of the restaurant. (4/5) Crab Melt ($18) - Interesting open faced sandwich, with the crusty heel portion of a ciabatta roll, toasted until crispy on the flats, but still softer on the interior, albeit thin. It's topped with an ice cream scoop of crab salad. The salad is essentially tuna salad with the crab substituted for tuna. This means there's a ton of crab and not much filler - plenty of sweet shreds of crab meat, mixed with a couple of crunchy pieces of celery in a creamy sauce. The crab salad is then topped with cheese, then the entire creation is broiled until the cheese on top becomes bubbly and the cheese that flows down the sides of the bread becomes essentially a crunchy cheese skirt. Something to note, not necessarily a negative, is that the center of the crab salad scoops remains cold, which is in stark contrast to the warmed exterior. The dish comes with a side of ridged kettle chips. Robustly crunchy, simply salted. Surprisingly good to dip into the clam chowder in fact. (4/5) Salty Girls definitely serves some good seafood dishes. I certainly wouldn't mind returning the next time I'm in Seqium. Bathrooms - Single unisex room Note: Salty Girls has a 3% credit card fee

Sequim Bento Teriyaki
1243 W Washington St, SequimAmazing teriyaki chicken. Their bento teriyaki sauce is delicious. Only negative is they’re not reliable with the hours they’re open. Often closing the kitchen earlier than posted hours or running out of several items before close. Still, our favorite place to go for teriyaki in the area however. ?
