Everyone we interacted with was lovely and helpful, the farm is really charming and well laid out, the flowers were beautiful and everything was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping here if you enjoy flowers and gardens!”

“I live nearby and have purchased slate and other materials from Blakes on about three occasions. They have been consistently knowledgeable. Their selection is fair (not stellar) in slate colors. They are quite expensive (but isn't everything these days?) This amount of slate ran me about $800 for materials only.”

“Off to a rocky start, but glad I went back! YOU SHOULD VISIT!Saw their ad on the Coffee Times and it said they were open year round. Went there during the hours listed, and there was a woman going into the house thru the garage, but she didn't acknowledge us. The door to the shop was locked and the OPEN sign was off. She could have turned and said 'we're closed.' I said that I probably wouldn't go back, but Husband said I may only be hurting myself.Called when they were next opened, and I am so glad I didn't blow them off!The shop has a great assortment of lavender products, and the gentleman who rang up my purchases couldn't have been nicer.I purchased several different lavender cooking enhancements including Garlic Lavender Pepper and Parmesan, Garlic and Rosemary Olive Oil.I'm sure I'll be ordering on line when I'm no longer staying in the area.”

“Possibly the best customer service I ever have had. My combination cable bike lock got jammed and nothing was working. Desperate to get my bike off my car I went in to the Co-OP to get cable cutters. In steps store associate, Renee. They had some cable cutters in the store and believed in "helping people." She got them and went out to my car to start cutting the tenacious cable. Another associate, wish I had gotten his name, came out too. After two sets of cutters and finally a hacksaw plus a bit of sweat n muscled he got thru the cable. I so appreciate them both not just for liberating my bike, but for being so kind.”

“My wife and I have always had a nice experience here. The staff have always been more than friendly and we have always loved looking at the VAST vast selection of items. When we do come here we actually go for the toys. We love to shop local and they have a pretty decently sized toy selection and they sell really good brands like Hape, Tonka, Melissa and Doug, and Green Toys. I will say they are a bit over priced (this is the reason for 4 stars) and you could sometimes get a toy cheaper just buying directly from the manufacturers website. But as I said we love to support local businesses and they sell the toys we like to buy for our son. And like I mentioned the staff are really nice. This last trip we were going right before close and someone was vacuuming and my son is not a fan of loud vacuums. So the lady noticed that stopped the vacuum and then had a conversation with him about his new toy. It was a very good experience.”

“You can always find gorgeous flowers and plants at Walmart. Love shopping the garden center even when I don't need anything for the garden. Rod has been here for years and is literally the best ? he makes my day every time I see him. Also they have a 1 year Guarantee on Perennials Trees and Shrubs if you still have the receipt.”

“Anna helped me order new blinds today, and it was the most amazing customer service that I have ever received anywhere. I didn't even notice her as I walked around lost. She asked if she could help me find something. She lead me to the blinds section where she measured my current blind that I brought in and happily offered to cut the new one down to size. I was concerned that the one she had in store wasn't an exact match, and so she recommended that we order on Home Depot's website for the exact one which is what she did for me. I am so impressed by her customer service that I had to post this. Thanks Anna! You're awesome!!”

Unfortunately, we had return it, almost immediately because of a good sized oil leak. We were able to return it, and get a new, more expensive model, at a good price. It was a very stressful experience that could have been much, much worse. But the staff and management went out if their way to make things right. I highly recommend this Home Depot.”
