Putting your apple's in plastic now is horrible! People who eat organic don't want our food in plastic. Not only will the plastic get absorbed into the fruit, but half the apple's are beet to heck now. Hopefully it saves you money. Because I have a feeling I won't be the only one to stop buy this product now. ?

I just bought a 4 lb. bag of cosmic crisp apples from Sam's Club in Bluffton, SC and the bag says they are distributed by Rainer Fruit Co. I have eaten a lot of this kind of apple and many other kinds, but I have never seen or tasted anything like what these apples are coated with. I washed the first one as usual and when I bit into it there was an astringent taste. I had to wash and scrub and finally scrape it off with my fingernail. I have now washed all the other twice and scrubbed them but when they dry you can really see this junk, whatever it is.

Every summer I buy cherries from Rainier Fruit Company. The product is always fresh and delicious! I buy them from Aldi at a good price. The packaging is also beautifully designed.

Do not buy the pears they sell in Costco. They mani the fruit not to ripen. After 3weeks on my counter the pears didn’t ripen. They were shriveled but inside hard and inedible! Who knows what chemicals they are using! Beware!
