WARNING*** DONT RENT FROM NEW OWNER!! (THEY ARE CRIMINALS). If I could give negative ratings, I would give less than zero. I was with this company for several years until this month when they were purchased by new owners.
I was on auto pay and I loved my unit and was going to stay for a long time. New owners sent out a letter saying they were new, but did NOT tell existing autopay customers that they needed to renew their autopay. They then charged me $20 late fees, didn't inform me until the 11th (at midnight) that I no longer had access to my unit or the gate until I paid the rent and the late fee.
I paid and then was told when I move out I'd be prorated on my rent. I paid and same day got my stuff out, in one day, then the lady in the office, who said I'd be prorated, was unable to make the transaction. I asked her to call her manager.
The manger explained over the phone that because I did not give 30 days notice.... I would not be prorated back my money.
And even though I paid on the 11th, my rent, I was owed $40 something dollars back, but they refused.
They are thieves. And they are super passive aggressive about it.
Yesterday, I got another email (6/21 @ 11am) stating that I'm still late on my rent and that I will need to pay more money or else I can't get my stuff. I've already closed out, and if I don't fix this, they might try to send me to a collection agency, even though they owe me money.
I would like to see this place get purchased by a new owner again. One that isn't a criminal
Until then, this company needs to be emptied. They will steal your stuff. It's not worth the risk !!!!

If you're looking to rent a storage unit I would suggest you look into other alternatives. The storage unit itself is just fine and secure but I just got a notice of a rental rate increase and I haven't even had my stuff there for a year!!! Comparing to other places you can rent the same size unit for less that is just as secure up the highway. I could move there but this would be my third move as the first one was to small and I needed something larger. If the growing trend is to get you in and then raise the rent it's not worth renting a unit. I'm tired of trying to deal with storage issues and the ridiculous rate increases on everything. Finally time to just move everything back to the house and sell most everything in the unit at a garage sale and be done with it.

My boyfriend and I had stopped by to ask about asking prices for a 10x15 unit, the person who was in the office could only reply with “ I don’t know very much of the business, I’m only filling in “ couldn’t get hold of the owners either. If I have someone who is filling in and doesn’t know anything I would have at least written down answers for questions that people would ask or prices for units down.
