I can’t speak highly enough about rugged diesel repair, and Joe. I brought in my rusty old 2012 Cummins and he completely transformed the truck. It was rattling down the road and nearly falling apart. With his guidance we replaced almost every steering and suspension component, and this thing is like new. As someone who just moved up to the area, It’s refreshing to meet someone I could rely on to work on my truck like it was their own. If y’all need anything done, give RDR a call.

I can't recommend Joe at Rugged Diesel Repair enough. I brought him my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax after it went into limp mode. Being a newly single Mom after getting divorced and this being my only vehicle, to say I was stressed is an under statement. Joe was very thorough and very honest with me about the all issues he found. He does a fantastic job of explaining things in a way you can understand. I really appreciated his realistic opinion on how to proceed with my truck. I can't thank him enough for his time and help. I feel very fortunate to have found him. Another diesel truck will eventually be in my future and when it does, I'll make sure to have Joe help me maintain it.His shop is pretty dang sweet, I might add. Very well organized and clean. Really nice setup.

I brought my 14 lml duramax to Joe for a fuel system upgrade and needless to say he was fantastic very friendly knowledgeable and did a very professional install when I got the truck home and inspected his work I was very impressed with the workman ship that was done it was very neat with all the new lines and wires neatly wrapped and set up beautifully definitely will be the only guy I trust to work on my truck thanks Joe

Brought a 2016 Dodge 2500 6.7 that I was looking to purchase from a local dealer. Showed up at his shop on a random Friday around 4pm and he still had no problems setting things aside for a quick look over. I did not call ahead or schedule this just did a random google search and drove there. This "quick look" was very thorough and real, better then anything I've had done at other shops. No frill, no extra maintenance. Great and professional job. Spent time with me explaining certain parts that tend to fail and maintenance things to look for in the future.His knowledge on these engines and platforms is very extensive, and you can tell he knows what works. I bought the 2500 and will be calling soon to schedule work. I recommend anyone looking for honest and professional diesel repairs give RDR a call!

I highly recommend Joe and RDR. I have a 02 Chevy Duramax I brought to joe with some issues involving my transmission and shifting. Joe not only made time for my truck, but he continued to be professional and methodical day in and day out. The work he provided was by no means an easy task. From the prior diagnosis to finish, he tracked down and made sure to diagnose intermittent issues and potential issues. Joe was honest, methodical, and very knowledgeable about every issue that was known, found and diagnosed. Joe is extremely fair and honest with his work, prices and will always take the time and go the extra miles to make sure his customers are cared for and taken care of. I highly recommend all your diesel truck needs to him and his shop. Very professional and customer oriented.

Our truck broke down near North Cascade NP while we were vacationing in NW Washington. He understood we were unable to return our RV to Spokane without a working truck. He gave us priority and quickly identified the problem as a seized up ac compressor and made the necessary repairs to get us back on the road. I Strongly Recommend Rugged Diesel Repair. I live in the Seattle area and have a 2002 Duramax with several issues. I wanted to keep the truck on the road but also was on a budget to do so. I called several shops around my area before stumbling across RDR's website. Although RDR was a long drive for me, I decided to call. After talking to Joe on the phone, I knew I wanted to take my truck to him and was willing to make the drive. Joe took the time on the phone to discuss my issues, share his thoughts and I just felt he really knew is stuff and also seemed like a real honest guy and someone I could trust. What more could you ask for.It turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Joe was absolutely fantastic to work with. He is Extremely knowledgable, Honest as the day is long, dependable and very fair. Joe did a full assessment of the truck and took the time to walk me through it all. Joe helped me evaluate options to meet my objective of keeping the truck on the road without breaking the bank. He kept me informed along the way.Joe is hands down the best all around mechanic I have ever had turn a wrench on any of my vehicles. Truck ac broke down while vacationing at North Cascade NP. The compressor seized up and prevented the serpentine belt from working. Needless to say we were without a working truck. Joe was very understanding and diagnosed the problem quickly. He gave the repair a priority and got it fixed so we could get back to Spokane with our rv. He was very professional and if I lived here, he would definitely be my go to mechanic for any diesel truck repair.
