If it's after 7pm expect it to be closed at random times with the pumps off for no reason, oh yeah and the open signs still lit up like a Christmas tree.

We were on a road trip from Canada. It was late and stormy. We needed gas, drinks, snacks, and to use the washroom. We were denied the use of the bathroom. Absolutely absurd.

Love this place! Can't go wrong with Arco! Gas is cheaper than most, and the staff in my experience has always been helpful and friendly!

First off, the picture shown for this place is so doctored, which immediately starts the relationship with a lie. I've lived here for 40+ years, 30 of those as a consumer. In that time, I have only met 2 people who were kind, that worked there! Owner is unpleasant, rude, and not consumer friendly. Employees often complain about her. Most often u will find pumps that don't work, pay stations that almost never work properly, no reciepts, short lines that last as if they were a mile long or are long, inside that is. And then they can't even accept a 100 dollar bill for payment as they don't have enough change... keep in mind, I spent over 50 dollars in gas when turned down. Although conveniently for them, they charge the 10 cents extra per gallon of fuel when using debit or credit. I don't agree that their gas is any less performance wise then other gas stations. At least not for the average cars. And I have tested that theory with my 2019 toyota camry. I found I got the same miliage out of my car. Although longevity is a bit harder to know the impact. The inside of this place is often dirty, especially bathrooms, and I have witnessed staff coming from there with no way they had time to properly wash their hands, and then proceed to handle food area. Also note, if you are going to purchase any type of product requiring photo ID, just know that not only do they follow normal laws, they WILL NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD, adult or small, to be with you, or they will not sell. Take it how u want, but personally, I think it's outrageously moronic. If I'm at the store with my 19 year old daughter, and I wanted to get gas and a wine cooler to relax with when I get home... while she is behind me in line grabbing her slurpy, and they conclude she is with me, they turn you away! Yes I understand people have purchased for minors, but 90% or better, you can often tell when someone is being sneaky, and or when someone has a child or teen they are related to. And yes my daughter had ID to show her relation to myself. I've had this happen when she was 9 years old. I had her with me when I purchased tobacco, and was also turned away! I do not smoke now, but still take issue with how they handle these things. They also have extremely rude staff 75% of the time. Also keep in mind that every evening, they shut down the pumps for over 30 mins, often times longer, to count there tills. I have NEVER been to another ampm that does it this way! You can not even use your card to get fuel! I do not know the exact time this happens now as I stopped using this company, except where I have no other choice, or the choice is to go way out of my way. I honestly would rather drive out of my way and or pay a few more cents per gallon then to deal with this terrible company's ownership and management. Gas is a daily product in most people's lives and I want to have a pleasant encounter that starts or ends my day with smiles and a happy experience! They have the opportunity to impact the customers day and grow small town feel relationships! This is what should make small towns so great. If you ask me, they make our small town loose its value and only add to traffic and put people in a bad mood. This can roll off on to everyone you encounter after. I gave them a second star, only for location and price being decent in comparison to near by gas stations. I don't recommend this place in anyway if your wanting a pleasant experience. Don't go here unless your willing to have a bad day! I swear this place has a dark cloud looming over it! They need to take a picture that represents truth, or change to match the beautiful representation!
