Cute and clean cottages! Good value and very close to beach access. Much better than a generic hotel - this place has personality. The owner Doug was very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations for local bars and restaurants. Love this place, definitely will be back!

Absolutely amazing place to stay, we can’t wait to come again and bring multiple family in the summer. For the price we paid it beats a hotel all day long. So long as the price remains reasonable we will be coming here for years to come. Amazing customer service as well :)

My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting family friends and this place exceeded our expectations! We got cottage #9 which was the king bed, kitchen and a nice little living room to watch tv. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet! You could see your car from the window and they had a nice little outdoor area to sit and enjoy which was private too! They stocked the bathroom was cute items as well. The only thing I couldn’t find was a laundry bag for dirty clothes but that was the last of our worries. This place was very affordable and the best place we could have picked at long beach! Oh! And last thing, if you plan on coming during the winter time, don’t worry they kept the place nice and toasty! Note: you are below someone so if that bothers you then I would pick a different cottage

Great location for lots of hiking trails. Comfortable bed. Great bakery nearby.Rooms: Walking distance from the beach. Loved the large comfortable bed. We had the smallish mini-kitchen room in 2nd floor.Coffee was good. Tea - missing black. Microwave oven - suggest placing it on the counter for easier use.Mini-fridge - just large enough.Nearby activities: Lots of trails. Bakery & grocery store closeby. Many interesting shops nearby.Noteworthy details: Bedding was outstanding. Shower excellent!Owner was very helpful.Parking - closeby. We'd visit again with our son, his gf and dog. Nice that some rooms accommodated dogs.

Very lovely. I got the cottage with the kitchen and separate bedroom /living room. I needed a quiet respite and being so close to the local sights made it all that much better. Seriously I couldn’t have been more pleased with the very reasonable rates and the cute cottage with nice cozy pretty furnishings. The people who work here are super nice as well. Adorable.

Thoughtful is the first word that comes to mind. We stayed in number 4 over night. The room is so tidy and so clean! It has all the necessary overnight features. The room darkening blinds are really cool! They provide privacy and can totally block the light! The bedding is so clean, soft and crisp. The space heaters make it very toasty. Nice lighting! and spartan, well chosen furnishings so space is maximized. Really tastefully put together. Again, so extra clean! The shower is fabulous! Great water pressure and all the soap and cleansing products. Plenty of toilet paper, a nice little fridge and coffee maker … great TV! You can pull right up to the door! Unloading our bags was super fast and easy and we were able to get right into bed and go to sleep. Very quiet surroundings. I just don’t think you could get a sweeter place at this price especially. I should note that my partner and I are fairly compact people…. Average height at most and if you are quite tall, you might need more head room. I think for most average height folks, the cottage number 4 is going to be a great fit.

This place is wonderful. Whoever answered the phone when I called to let them know we were running late checked us in remotely and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The only staffer I spoke to in person, someone in housekeeping who gave me extra coffee, was equally kind and professional. The cabins are adorable, with tiny little porches, and the grounds are cute and tidy. We stayed in off-season so didn't use any of the grills, but you can tell it'd be fantastic during the summer. The bed was lofty and clean and wonderful, the kitchenette had a remarkable amount of cookware, including a chef's knife and corkscrew. The wifi is super fast. The bathroom had a vaguely odd layout, and the cabin's floor had a noticeable tilt, but it all added to the charm. All the windows open, and they all have privacy shades. It seems there's usually a little restaurant onsite, but it was closed for reno when we were there. These cabins allow pets, so I got barked at a few times, but I don't mind dogs. (Someone who does mind dogs might not feel comfortable, as you're likely to run into a couple.) They're right on a direct beach access road, so you can walk from your cabin straight to the ocean if you like, it's barely half a mile, or you can even drive onto the beach since vehicles are allowed.Terrific place to stay on the peninsula.

When we arrived, which was way to early for check in, my wife suggested that I go into the office to find out when our cottage will be ready. The young lady in the office said the cottage is ready now which was about 2 hours before check in. I asked about the on site Mexican restaurant, she said it was closed for remodeling, we were looking forward to eating at there, should specify that on their website. The room or cottage was small but everything we needed was except for another chair, I guess there really wasn't room for another chair. The floor was falling apart when we walked on it, there was a spider peeking from behind the headboard, we tried to kill it but it was too fast for us. My wife could not sleep well because of the spider living behind the headboard. This cottage #7 was connected to another, cottages 7 & 8 are connected, the people who staying in #7 were very inconsiderate, they were loud, slamming doors and making all kind of racked after 11pm.Overall we will probably stay there again if we were to visit that area. If the weather was better we could have walked to many of the restaurants and shops in downtown.
