I enjoy west lake for it's access to the 1 line. the few times I have wandered the mall I felt it was just a pretty stock standard high end 90's mall experience. nothing to write home about and certainly a waste of time for any tourists who are seeking true cultural hot-spots in the city.
Best for Christmas Shopping Because: Westlake Center means four floors of quality shopping, a food court and even the take-off point for a Monorail (that travels to Seattle Center).
