I am very lucky to live so close to this shop. Their selection is very eclectic and has varietals I can't get most places. The couple that owns the place are very friendly and eager to go into details about their stock. They have regular wine tastings on Thursdays starting at 5:30, but the place does get crowded even with modest attendance.

I’m blown away at how WELCOMING and FRIENDLY Jessica and Bryce are. Such a warm and loving couple. As a brand new transplant, this is the kind of community I’ve been craving. Will definitely be a regular at the weekly tastings that are causal and no pressure with some really great quality wines. 10/10.

We love this shop and value the owners Tom and Jan so much, but it has just been sold (to another local person, at least). We sincerely hope the new owners maintain the friendly, non-snooty but highly knowledgeable ambience with the wide price range. Something for everyone! So superior to the grocery store selection. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about how much I love this little wine shop. One of the best and highly curated selections in the city. The owners are amazing and have a deep knowledge of what they sell. They are experts at pairing with meals and have an excellent selection of growers champagnes.

They special ordered my favorite Santorini wines!! The prices were the same as if it were bought on Santorini! I’m impressed. I’ll be ordering many more cases from them.

This place rules. I’m new to the neighborhood and thought I’d never find a replacement for my old wine store. I was wrong! West Seattle Cellars has great selection and reasonable pricing. But the best part is the proprietor is helpful, afable, likes to geek out about wine, and, best of all, makes great recommendations for your taste and price point.

I have been going to West Seattle Cellars for years now (certainly since before the pandemic) and really appreciate the weekly wine tastings on Thursday nights and occasionally on weekends. Prior to this, I would buy wine and champagne at grocery stores, liquor stores, Costco, etc. if I thought I might like it, or if something was on sale that sounded interesting - very hit-or-miss. Now, pretty much every bottle is something that I bought because I tasted it first, and bought a couple of bottles of what I liked best - no duds, ever! (I also learned from the tastings how many wines it turns out I *don't* like - not because they're "bad" but because there are certain bottles that I like much better than others, even from the same region, same grape, or same wine style. Valuable education!) Tom and Jan are very knowledgeable and will help you find whatever you need for your occasion.

I love this wine shop. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Their selection is great for a small shop with interesting wines from around the world plus as the standard greats you would expect. They have wines in a range of prices from very affordable to the top tiers.
