Dr. Quincy and her staff are always compassionate and caring advocates for our cats, Peach and Wiley. I would highly recommend West Seattle Animal Hospital and Dr. Quincy to anyone.

Dr. Gomez was wonderful! I saw her for a second opinion for my anxious 10 year old dog. She was very friendly and quickly put my dog, and me, at ease. She addressed all of my concerns with compassion and honesty, and provided me with the facts I needed to make the right decision. In the end, I have spared my dog from the unnecessary procedures and tests the other clinic recommended and saved myself $4K. I’m so grateful to have found a vet I can trust (and my dog really likes).

I have brought both my cats and my dog to WSAH. We have met with quite a few of the vets and techs and have had excellent experiences with both. The desk staff has always been friendly and helpful and we have not had too much of a problem getting appointments. I want to especially highlight Dr Dyckhoff and Dr. Quincy who are both awesome. We have used WSAH not only for routine checkups and grooming, but also when we had to say goodbye to our cat, Jerome. They were incredibly empathetic and made the experience a little bit less awful than it was always going to be. Additionally, our other cat has since gone through dental procedures (cleanings and extractions) at WSAH and we were very pleased with the process. We are also first time dog owners and WSAH was very patient with all the phone calls and questions we made at the beginning. All in all, we have had very positive experiences with WSAH.

Dr. Gomez was awesome, and diagnosed a huge issue with my cat. We've started him on treatment for it, and he's already doing way better.

Always personal love for our kitties. Clean, quiet. We've been in offices that our animals were frightened because of barking. Not here ever!

Knowledgeable vet (Dr. Ochsenreiter) who took the time to patiently explain my dog's health issues and provide meaningful advice. Friendly staff.

I was looking for a new vet for my 18 year old cat (diagnosed with long-term health issues) as we had recently moved and needed someone close by. Our first visit was wonderful, with the vet looking over her previous records and continuing her on medication with follow-up labs. We made an appointment a few months later for a follow-up on medication adjustments and refills. At this appointment, the vet (a different one) had no clue what she was diagnosed with. I went over her care and diagnoses. The vet stated bloodwork would be done on my cat, and they would let me know the results. I got a call a few days later, and the vet (it had to be a different one) said my cat had thyroid and kidney issues and needed treatment. At this point, I'm speechless because West Seattle Animal Hospital has known and been treating her for these issues for months. I kindly informed the person on the phone that the point of the labs was to see if the medications were working for treatment. The person said it was all about balance and gave some unhelpful tips about food (unhelpful because I've already had 2 conversations about this at this location. Do they keep records?). The call wasn't very helpful. A few days later, I received a call saying my cat had a urinary infection and that her medication had been filled. I picked up the meds and administered it until I realized there wasn't enough liquid to finish the dosages. I called and left a message. Two days later, I had my husband call and leave a message for the nurse, and I called one more time, leaving a message a week later. It's been 3 weeks with no reply. It really sucks because I had high hopes of finding a vet that could provide senior cat care. The staff is friendly, but this location seems to be a place for pets that are mostly healthy. I wouldn't recommend this place for senior cats with long-term illnesses.

Really caring and kind vets. I have been coming here for over 20 years and they work hard to help your dogs be safe and healthy. At the same time they are helpful referring you out to specialists if needed!! I have been to other vets in Seattle and I know West Seattle Animal Hospital is the best!!

I've had good luck here getting some very ill cats treated. Sometimes the front desk staff can be not too friendly, sometimes they're fine. Overall, I'd recommend this vet. I don't live in the area so it's not my main vet.

My mom and I brought my childhood cat to WSAH so, when I adopted my own cats, of course I brought them too! Each person is so thoughtful and helpful. I have suggested them to my friends and will continue doing so!

Such a wonderful experience here for my senior kitten. They were very gentle and patient since my cat is shy. Also knowledgeable when answering all my questions. 10/10
