Let’s be honest, often banking is a dry experience, an errand to run on the way to something else… but not so when you’re working with someone who truly puts people first. Shai at the Wedgwood branch is a genuine pleasure to work with. He makes me want to come up with another reason to do business in the branch. Shai gets 5 stars.

The branch manager and the banker that helped me today was fantastic. I usually don't write reviews but their efforts to day warrants praise. I appreciate the folks that work at this bank. They're always eager to be helpful. I cannot thank them enough.

Wells Fargo branch in Wedgewood neighborhood of Seattle. All the staff are very helpful, upbeat, and fun. The location has lobby with sufficient space, free parking, exterior access ATM, foreign cash exchange, and convenient location within short distance to bus routes, commerce, and residential. Also offers business account services and making an appointment online is very convenient!

I am a huge fan of Wells Fargo because every one I have ever been to has had great customer service. I've been doing business with them for the last decade, all across the state and all across the country (well to Alabama at least). They are consistent and genuinely care about their customers. I have had nothing but positive experiences at every location I have ever been to but this branch is my favorite. At that time I had some bad luck that compounded by making bad decisions and actually had to file bankruptcy about 10 years ago. This bank is where I got my first, post filing, bank account. After you have a bankruptcy the way that you're allowed to conduct your financial business changes. You basically get put on a probationary style account. You're not supposed to graduate the account until you complete a series of stuff in the government feels that you're responsible enough to have an adult bank account. Wells Fargo noticed that I had a decent amount of cash in my checking and savings accounts and actually helped get me upgraded to a big boy account (technically they're not supposed to, so I won't say who did it, but the point is they looked out for the customer and did it). They were also the first bank that helped me get a secured credit card after my bankruptcy and they helped to get me into a regular credit card as soon as possible by actually teaching me on how to rebuild my credit in the quickest way possible. They also helped me get my ex wife off my accounts when she was being nuts during the divorce. lol Over the last decade I have made multiple mistakes while banking with them; e.g. not paying attention to my checking account and causing an overdraft (or 6 lol) I or when I switched jobs and didn't set up my direct deposit quick enough and got charged because I didn't fit the criteria for the account I had and many more things that were technically my fault. Best part about all these things is even though they were my fault Wells Fargo waived the charges and helped me instead of screwing me over a nickel and diming me. Another time I was in a hurry one day and got money out of the drive through ATM at a different Wells Fargo location and drove off after getting my card without getting my money. The gentleman who pulled up behind me took my money and did not turn it in. Wells Fargo could've said, "hey sorry about your luck buddy but you're out the $200", but they did not do that. Instead they researched it and they gave me the entire amount of money back. My most recent positive experience with them is I had booked a flight with American Airlines and had to cancel about eight months ago. I spoke to American Airlines and they told me that there would be $100 penalty and I could use the rest of the $400 that I had spent on the ticket towards another ticket when I needed it. When it came time to need said ticket, American Airlines would not honor what they had said. When I said something to a Wells Fargo branch about it, they informed me that there is a way to contest it and possibly have the money given back to me. So instead of giving me a phone number to call, Julian a personal banker, dialed the phone number for me and helped me navigate the channels to get to the right people, where we were informed that since it is been over 6 months there was basically nothing they could do. Rules are rules right? Not in this case Julian and some of the other management team went to bat with the fraud department of Wells Fargo, who then went to after American Airlines. When all was said and done I got ALL my money back. I was honest and told Wells Fargo that American airlines had said that there was $100 penalty for not taking the flight but it didn't matter because Wells Fargo got me the entire amount back due to the inconvenience. As you can imagine I am not happy with American Airlines and I've given them a review complete opposite of this one. My wife banks with BECU and was trying to get me to switch them because they have a little bit better progra

My WF mortgage agent, Stephanie, just helped me refinance my mortgage and is going to save me thousands of bucks each year. She was super proactive about it and explained everything very clearly (no small feat because money talk makes me glaze over like the crispiest, creamiest donut). I know WF is a huge company with global reach, but both today and on an earlier refinance a few years ago, Stephanie has made the whole process feel completely personal and put my needs and interests first. And to top it off, we did all the paperwork in an office with a big picture of a Wells-Fargo chuck wagon. Yeee-ahh!! It's a pleasure to give my 100th 5-star review to Stephanie at the Wedgwood WF!

I experienced really poor customer service at KeyBank. I had some pretty specific questions about a course of action I wanted to take and when I asked them how I could achieve these goals their answer was, "Maybe you should try Wells Fargo." I took their advice. I went into Wells Fargo and explained what I wanted to do and was given so many OPTIONS! I wasn't treated like the red-headed step child, but rather like someone whose financial goals were just as worthy as those of higher means. And besides that they have free coffee and a fireplace with comfy chairs AND trivia questions that are dead easy. UPDATE---Since I joined with this bank my credit score has soared over 100 points.
