Horrible customer service, I requested a letter of deletion by mail for a hard inquiry as instruction by the rep in the auto department, it's been 2 months I have received no letter back, not even one stating they cannot provide a letter of deletion. Poor communication and customer service is not acceptable from a bank. Glad I don't have an account with them and didn't get my car loan with them!

Been our bank for years. Had our 1st home mortgage with Wells Fargo. Have bought a car or two using a loan from Wells Fargo. The bank personnel are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. With all that said, today, I was on phone with customer service because they are charging my 18 year old autistic son $5 a month because he doesn't carry a balance of $1500 or have a direct deposit of at least $500 a month. Give me a break, he is 18 and trying to start out in the world. I cannot begin to express my disappointment in the policies of Wells Fargo. I hope they get what they are looking for by nickel and diming a young man. Looks like our family will be moving to a credit union. #fraudulentbanking #paybackthebailoutmoney

I hate walking into any wells Fargo bank. They're worst than car sales people these days! I don't need to be asked multiple times why I don't have an account. I just don't need another bank account.

Stepped in this Wells Fargo location today 4/26/16 at 12 30pm. Needed about 5 min of the banker's time. Lady banker said that we will be assisted by the business specialist as soon as he finishes his phone conversation. After 15 min of the wait time we asked how much longer to wait - he said at least 15 min. I mean, was it hard to warn us in the beginning that his phone call will take 30 min. to complete? And all his body language, facial expressions - were soo rude. Where are the manners? Just, please, politely acknowledge that probably you would not be able to help us in this lunch break of ours and we will go, but no, he behaved like we annoyed him tremendously. And one more thing - all this time his screen was unprotected - if I had a better eye sight I would be able to read the information of the clients he was "helping" too.

When you have to walk into a bank, it usually ranks somewhere near the DMV and a public library. Sometimes its crazy busy and they don't have enough people working. Or, its super quite and if you sneeze, everyone looks at you. This visit was nowhere near any experience I have ever had at any bank before. I had to make several deposits and assumed I would be there awhile. However, the moment I walked in, I was greet by a friendly face who was quick to assist me. She called me right over, which at first confused me since I hadn't filled out any deposit slips yet. I explained what I needed and she jumped right on it. She was super friendly, fun and passed the time very well. Even though the deposits took several minutes there was never an awkward silence. She was not annoying but kept the conversation going. This made my visit extremely pleasant and I will not hesitate to return. Thanks Mary. Keep up the great work!

January 2013 by I F.
I am writing this so other people do not get in the same situation I'm finding myself in. On December 7, 20212 I made an electronic payment to another bank into my account there. It said at that point that the payment would be in my other account no later than December 14, 2012. After I made the payment and the payment was confirmed, a few days later I closed the WF account. Then I got a letter stating that all pending payments would be put on hold. I called immediately, and was assured that my payment to the other bank had been made, and should get there as promised no later than December 14, 2012. Silly me, I believed them, and went on vacation thinking that I would have access to my money on the 14th. Not so. when I came back to the states on January 13, the money still was not there, so I called again. Well, they had sent a paper check (yes you see this right, a paper check) and that had mot cleared yet, so they put a stop payment on that. They told me that they would sent a check to my house. It is now the 28th of January 2013, and nothing! So I called again. They told me that the stop payment was received on the 23rd of January, and that they would sent a check on the 1st of February. When I asked why it had to take so long the answer was that is their process and there is nothing they can do about it. And you wonder why the banks are in so much trouble. If it takes them 7 business days to get a check out the door, I wonder what they do with the money in the meantime. If they do this to everyone, they can make a nice chunk of money off of that. When I asked to speak to someone who could make the decision to get this done faster, I was told that there was no such person. Total unwillingness to work with me. And let me also tell you that this was not about a small amount of money, this was several thousands of dollars. Now I ask you, is this a bank you want to do business with? I'm not. A very disgruntled client.

My partner and I banked at WF for 30 years. We tried to take advantage of the current low interest rates available and refinance our condo. We have excellent credit and a good amount in savings for retirement. WF refused to refinance us and they were extraordinarily rude and unhelpful. I was really shocked at how poorly we were treated after banking with them for so many years. Last year, we realized that there are alternatives and joined BECU. We applied for the refinance with them and got it very easily with everyone being extremely helpful, just the opposite of WF. I hope they go out of business, horrible, disrespectful company.

Yes, the views are awesome. Rainy day and you don't want to go outside there's a small store which sells snacks and drinks, Salad buffet place, pizza place, Indian food. What also makes this building nice is they have a Starbucks on the 1st floor.

Liked this branch a lot. "liked" you may say? yes, because since I've changed work buildings, I doubt I'll be coming here as often. Most of the customer service representatives are nice and friendly. I still like their bankers over chase... and definitely without the issues of new fees like chase. Had issues in the pass with my account and some charges, one of the manager took care of that in a jiffy.

I am writing this and I am royally pissed off. So, while I have mostly liked Wells Fargo, they about pushed me over the edge today. They charge, charge, charge for the smallest of things. Their phone bankers for the most part are rude little assholes and their customer service skills were so flipping bad that the j*** is lucky I couldn't get to him through the phone....and I'm a peaceful person that doesn't believe in violence. I then went over to the branch and asked them why they docked me this $ when the funds were there and asked them to put it back. They said, "well this will be a one time courtesy because it wasn't bank error." It wasn't my error either! There was a charge that never went through, but it was deducted and pending. They pulled money from savings to 'cover' even though it never went through. It's the principle of the matter, even though it was only $10. They should have just apologized and said they would take care of it instead of making me feel like they were doing me a favor for putting back MY money that shouldn't have ever been taken out in the first place. Don't mess with my $, people! :) GGGRRRRR.

This review is about the view from the 32nd floor of 999 3rd Ave (aka the Wells Fargo Building) in downtown Seattle. The view is awesome. It would be perfect if it wasn't for that goddamn Federal Building directly in the way, blocking a good chunk of the sound. But overall--stunning. One gets great views of the sound, the port, Qwest and Safeco. I'm not sure how many folks will get a chance to enjoy this view. So, bummer for you.

Jeepers, there sure are some nice people working here. But dang if they are not the slowest bunch of inattentive nice people around. At least one gal recognizes me now but I'm always perplexed why I have to stand at the rope and stantions and wait. And wait. There are always more then enough people working at this branch, seriously more then enough, probably two employees for every customer, but there I (the customer) stand. Waiting. The perk on this location is that I work in the same building and so a trip to the bank is only thwarted by the waiting in "line" (if I'm the only person waiting do I still constitute as a line?).
