I would give this pharmacy a 0 if I could. My wife and I have put in very time sensitive prescriptions, and every time we’ve had to go into the store and ask them to look in their system and fill it. They don’t pick up the phone either. I’ve also never seen an actual pharmacist working there, only regular store employees. Choose any other pharmacy if you actually care about getting your stuff on time without begging for it.

If I could rate this pharmacy lower than a 1 I would. Usually I am pretty lenient, but this pharmacy is never ready. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t have my prescription ready on time ever. The amount of times I’ve gone in to pick it up only to be told it won’t be ready yet has been more than a few. Avoid this pharmacy if you value your time and health

The worst drugstore I’ve ever experienced. Avoid at all cost.

The most ridiculously incompetent, understaffed pharmacy I have ever been to. A total waste of time to try and get a prescription filled.

my prescriptions were supposed to be ready 3 hours ago. the pharmacy clerk told me the pharmacist wanted to speak to me about my prescription. he made me wait twenty minutes to tell me that it would be ready tomorrow morning. as soon as I left, I got a text saying my prescription was ready. this is far from the first time something like this has happened at this walgreens. so frustrated

The costumer service at the pharmacy is awful. A waste of time trying to get my prescription here. Definitely won’t come back.

The pharmacy is absolutely dreadful. They have horrible customer service and are constantly out of medication. They were unable to get my child the prescribed antibiotics when she was very sick and are out of medications more often than they have them in stock. I just called because they have been out of stock on something for a week and was told I might have better luck with another pharmacy and I should call my doctor to move them....

The manager was very rude to me, basically calling me stupid when I tried to use a coupon, stuff like “you work with computers, you should know this.” Also he was wrong, he said I needed more items to use a coupon but the subtotal was already over the amount indicated on the coupon. He ended up throwing away my coupon before I could use it as well. He was radiating rage before I even said anything.
The store itself does have some nice sales sometimes.

Me and my friends were just looking around the make up aisle. For some reason two of the employees were looking at us in a very weird and uneasy way. We ignored it and kept looking. Then all of a sudden one of them(the girl) told us that we had to get out of the section and move on. She said this in a VERY harsh manner and very loudly. We were really confused and and weirded out. So we kind of left the aisle and kept looking around. The whole time we kept looking around they kept looking at us. We were kind of scared. Also the girl looked HIGH. She laughed in a really un easy way, it was just really not normal and uncomfortable behavior. We started whispering about it and they over heard us. The girl ended us yelling. “Ya, we do think you’re stealing because you guys are actually immature and suspicious.” We were kind of shocked about that. We were not stealing anything, we were just looking around like normal customers. Not really even touching many things. They were really rude and assuming things for no reason. It’s a shame that their products are good but the employees make you not want to go back.

The workers were really rude. Accusing me and some others of stealing and hovering over us. The staff mocked us after we left. They were acting immature and as if they were on a substance. I was buying something and browsing for some stuff. This is the worst Walgreens I've been to. It's a shame because I really loved some of the products there. A particularly rude worker started yelling at us and scolding us as if we were doing something wrong. All we were doing was looking for things. At first, the lady said "if you're not buying anything leave" even though someone in our group bought something. And then they proceeded to hover and glare at us. Another employee joined in on the mocking and hovering. One of them said "I saw one of them put something in their backpacks" even though they just put their headphones in. The way they were glaring at us shocked me. Their store hours are also never when it says. The employees were either high or drunk. We were confused because we weren't doing anything wrong and this was the first time the staff were like this. I NEVER write reviews but this experience was something to write about.

What is the official Walgreens policy regarding age restricted items? I ask because I'm 35 and my husband is 59. We've been shopping at our Wallingford Walgreens for 7 years. My husband drinks; I do not. However, whenever either of us has made an age restricted purchase, one of us provides an ID. Today, my husband and I went to Walgreens bought alcohol and a soft drink. The cashier checked my husband's id, then asks for mine. In 7 years I've never had us both be required to show ID, and as far as I know, the POS system requires one ID to be scanned. I asked the cashier what he does when parents come in. He said, well if he's your father, then it's okay. I hope the grey area is apparent at this point. So, is Walgreens required to ask familial relations now?
