Waiting in the allergy section for someone to unlock it. Ten minutes since I hit the button. Five-is since it stopped blaring. Two managers have walked by while I've been waiting here.

How is this place still open? It's a dump, merchandise is everywhere, nothing is stocked, staff are rude and incompetent. Close this place down.

It’s a busy location, so prescription pick up can take a while but I don’t mind waiting. I transferred my prescriptions from another location and had no issues. The pharmacy always picks up when I call and I get help right away. It’s unfortunate others have issues with prescriptions. I use the app to refill and submit prescriptions and that works best. The register staff is always quick and nice. 4 starts because theres always people loitering in the entrance and parking lot. And there’s trash.

I’ve never been one to write reviews but I’ve honestly gotten too frustrated with this pharmacy. The last 4 times I’ve had to pick up my prescription it’s not done when I get confirmation that is. I’m always waiting at least 30 minutes for my prescription. They keep charging me out-of-pocket prices when though the last four times I’ve been there, I’ve given them my insurance information. Every time they said it’s a problem on the insurance end, but I’ve called them multiple times and my insurance is good. Other people on my plan have no issues getting theirs at other pharmacies. Today was the last straw when they half-filled my meds and charged me the full out-of-pocket prices again. They won’t take any time to fix the issue every time I ask. I truly don’t recommend this pharmacy. I read the reviews before I switched. I thought it couldn’t be that bad. But it is indeed very bad and horrible service, it doesn’t help that the pharmacy workers are rude, frustrated, overworked, and underpaid.

I have seen this happen to others and have experienced it myself:
Customers receive calls confirming that their prescriptions are ready for pick up, and when they arrive they are given a variety of reasons why they are not.
I recently refilled a prescription, received a confirmation call, saw my doctor that day and in passing she confirmed she had received the Pharmacy's refill request and approved it. When I went to the pharmacy they claimed to have no record of any of this.
On a separate prescription I was initially told the medication was on back order (after receiving the call to pick it up), the clerk ordered it in front of me and told me when to return to collect it. When I did I was told it hadnt been ordered but was offered the generic (which they had in stock), which I accepted. When I returned at the appointed time to receive the generic I was told that they needed my doctor to specify that generic was OK. I left, got that approval sent, went to pick it up, and was told that they didn't carry the generic and it would need to be ordered.
While standing in line I have seen customers in tears because they called ahead and spoke to a person who confirmed their meds were ready, only to be told otherwise upon pick up. I've heard people describe similar back and forth experiences I have described above.
I *want* to like this pharmacy. This is my neighborhood shop. But the problems have been far to consistent.
You will save time and trouble bussing down 23rd to the Safeway on Madison.

When I try to call the pharmacy, the Walgreens system drops the call. The Walgreens app will auto cancel prescriptions or demand unnecessary action from patients. Walgreens needs to do better.

Made an appointment online to get 3 vaccines for my upcoming trip. Signed all the forms and jumped thru all the hoops online. Showed up for my scheduled appointment and still had to wait an additional 40 mins to be seen. AND THEN they actually only had 1 of the 3 vaccines in stock. Frustrating!!! I got the one vaccine and they give you a 20% off coupon to use. AND THEN I bought a couple things since I was there, and the 20% off coupon wouldn’t work and the cashier could not care any less to figure it out. All the employees look sad and overworked. WALGREENS - GET IT TOGETHER! Hire more people, pay them better, and get your stuff in stock!

If you need a medication urgently, or need to talk to the pharmacy staff good luck I’ve been on hold to talk to the pharmacy staff for over 2 hours.

Do not come here for vaccines. Even though my appointment was scheduled, they did not have the vaccine I was scheduled for. My friend came a different time and had the same thing happen. Zero care for their customers.

Sat on hold for 30 mins trying to reach the pharmacy. Decided to go in to try to get my prescription. There was a single person working, the drive through is closed due to shirt staffing, and the one person there couldn’t even tell me if they had my prescription in stock or how many DAYS it would take to fill. I tried to have it transferred to a different pharmacy and was told I’d have to have my doctor reorder it. Should have heeded the warnings to never go to this pharmacy. There was also a huge pile of blood on the floor in the entryway of the store. Cool.

The photo department lost one of my posters and instead of refunding or reprinting it for me, they had me wait about half an hour just to tell me to come back in the morning when their manager will be there to help me. It says on Walgreens’s website that they’re able to refund or replace photo orders at your local store so I’m not sure why I’d have to wait for a manager.

One person working the pharmacy when 5 people are standing in lines in the store, while a number of cars are in the drive thru... give your workers HELP!!

If you don't have 2 hrs to wait, the 4th time you've come in to try to pick up this prescription in the past 2 weeks, to not actually get your prescription because they didn't actually fill it, again, this is not the pharmacy for you.
If your prescription is essential and not optional, the gross systemic incompetence of Walgreen's may kill you.

This pharmacy is chronically understaffed. It's not the employee's fault so I do not blame them, but instead corporate. My auto-fill prescription has been "in progress" for days and the phone goes unanswered. If you go in person, be prepared to wait for a long time whether you are inside the store or picking up using the drive through. I decided to transfer my prescription to a local pharmacy instead.

Slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. Expect to wait at least 30 mins for your prescription. They had my prescription listed as “in progress” for 3 days until I called them. While calling them, they hung up on me twice. Finally, when I got through to them they filled my prescription (aka they let my prescription order from my doctor sit around for several days until someone complained.)
