Made an online purchase for local pick up for my fiancee's birthday. We went to pick up the purchase, had a look around and received lots of friendly help and assistance. Couldn't have asked for a better/smoother interaction.

Went in ready to buy a pair of shoes. No one offered help. I also have eye contact to 3 different employees and nothing. They just kept chatting away.

Went in with my son about 2:45 on Friday to get him some new shoes . No one in the store except 3 employees all standing around having a conversation. ( 2girls and 1 guy ) No one greeted us , no one asked what we were looking for or if we needed help. About ten mins of us looking around we find a pair of shoes for my son , walked up to the counter to ask if they had a size . A few mins later a white male comes in with his daughter . They all immediately directed their attention to them (greeting them asking what they were in for today) one of the associates even followed them to the giving them VIP service ( I should say it was VIP compared to what we got ) this I something that is becoming far to familiar in Seattle. If your a black man your immediately disregarded and ignored. This was a clear case of discrimination whether they intended it not. Not one of them said a word to us asked if we need anything at anytime , but the white man comes in they jump to a attention. I've managed retail and as a business owner I know the steps you take when a customer enters the store not one of those steps was done.

Each time I have come to this store the staff has been great, even when my three year old was having a tantrum, the employees were just helpful rather than annoyed or make me feel embarrassed. Shopped here probably three or four times this month and each time, you couldn't ask for a better staff.
