Pretty wild to just not give someone a med they need to buy. Really not sure what the point is to refuse it

I have been going to this pharmacy for about a year now, I come at least twice a month. I typically see the same pharm tech at the front desk, and he isn’t super friendly but not bad by any means. That is until the last few months. I don’t know if something is going on in his personal life, but the last several times I have come in, he has been so incredibly rude and unhelpful to the point where I end up leaving in tears with no medication. I’m not writing this review to get him fired or in trouble or anything like that, I’m writing this bc he needs serious training not only in customer service, but also on just how to ease worries and be helpful/useful to patients, especially patients who can be more emotional (which can be a common thing when dealing with medications).
If you want to read examples of what he has done here are some:
He literally refuses to do the most basic things (such as asking the pharmacist a question) until I’m pleading/begging with him to do so and then he’ll say each time “i guess i can ask someone if you really want me to”.
The last few times I have requested refills (I do so through MyChart and there has never been an issue) and go to pick them up he will tell me they never received anything. I’ll show him the confirmation text I receive and he says something along the lines of “well i don’t see it so i don’t know what to tell you”. and I say “can I get it refilled right now then?” and EVERY TIME he says “oh uh i guess we can refill it for you if you really need it”.
He has also refused to get in contact with my doctors office regarding prescriptions (even tho that is the pharmacy’s job), told me several times a friend could not pick up my prescription (i’ve had a friend pick up my prescription here countless times before) and then after i asked him multiple times to ask the pharmacist he finally did and she immediately said “yes a friend can pick it up”, he refused to fill my medication without verbal consent from my doctor even though I had refills available AND he wanted me to be the one to ask my doctor to call the pharmacy instead of the pharmacy calling my doctor (which i thought was the standard protocol).
During my last visit here a few days ago, i started to tear up after he told me that there was nothing he could do to fill my prescription even though the confirmation told me it was ready to be picked up. he said i had no refills left for any of my medications (which is not what it said on my end), and that he could ask the pharmacist what could be done and i said Thank you and then he just looked at me for about five seconds with this look of just pure disgust honestly until i said “are you going to ask the pharmacist?” and he said “oh do you want me to?” after i say yes (thought that was implied) he goes to the pharmacist behind him and talks to her for less than 10 seconds and then comes back over and says “yeah there’s nothing we can do. i guess we could fill an emergency rx for three days”. i said thank you and then i said “this is really frustrating bc this has happened the past few times i’ve come in now and if there is nothing you guys can do to help then im gonna have to find a new pharmacy” and i kid you not he said “yeah you probably should.” So I ended up leaving and now I haven’t had access to my medication in days which is causing me to start getting extremely sick.
Overall this isnt that great of a pharmacy - it’s only open during typical work hours and does not carry very many over the counter products. Every pharmacist I have spoken to is very kind and informative, but that one pharm tech is the reason I will no longer be coming here after being a customer for almost a year.

Wonderful experience here. Unlike other pharmacy the staff here is very caring. They are also very professional as they patiently go through with me all the side effects and things to be aware of. Definitely would go again!

I use this Pharmacy every month for two prescriptions that are outrageously expensive elsewhere. At the Roosevelt Pharmacy I pay about $100 where Rite Aid and CVS quoted me $1,700. My second medication cost me around $40 here versus Rite Aid and CVS quoted me $430. The staff always courteous and helpful; they usually have my prescription ready within a day or two which I think is pretty good considering the savings I'm receiving.

Best pharmacy to go to by far! Very friendly staff, VERY FRIENDLY i will repeat. Not your typical pharmacy experience. They get you taken care of ASAP. They make the calls to you and your doctor that they need to in order to get your needs taken care of. Very kind and well spoken. Feels like family!

it's too bad the pharmacy has a completely different set of service values as the rest of the clinic. They can state it's because of rules, but the constant interruptions on the call to tell me they can't help me and not giving their fax number to me...I don't understand what they're trying to accomplish other than make me leave to another clinic and pharmacy all together. Terrible service.
