If you send something here for General Delivery have fun trying to pick it up, especially if you have a job! For seemingly no good reason you can only receive it M-F between 10:30am-12pm. I don’t have an address elsewhere to send it to so now I have to find time during my work day to come to the downtown post office. Yay!

Super slow and understaffed, one person working and 15 people in line - it was faster to go to the 1st Ave location than to wait

I'm not sure why some have such a hard time at this location. Maybe something to do with their inner aggression coming forward and expecting another human being to react without any emotion. Been 6 months now and everyone here is more than helpful when a problem arises, especially the guy(manager) in back! I've been a pain to deal with but when you treat another person with respect they give it back to you. 3 stars simply cause the USPS has lost my packets

Please , PLeASE fire the supervisor from this place, he is rude, he has NO idea of what he is doing , he doesn’t help you, if a package gets lost he don’t help you or answer your question , he doesn’t take any kind of responsibility, he treat you like you are trash, no matter how polite you are and how losing a package was not your fault. The people at the front desk are not bad, so please just fire this guy. Do this place a favor and maybe you can get better reviews from everyone . If I could I would give it 0.

Went in to see what could be done about a package that was dropped off without a packing label. Front representative was nice and let me know it’s gone and I did ask more questions to see what the process further was and if there was anything else I could do so he called his supervisor. He seemed annoyed and stood at a distance as if I was bothered him out of his slumber. I explained what happened and he was very rude about it. Got condescending as if I’m supposed to know the process of USPS in this situation. He lacked customer service and while there was nothing he could do, he could hold this location to a better standard than one of the most rude postal offices in the city. Hope he gets a better attitude

A gentleman from this branch helped me with a money order. It was my first time, and the concept of money orders was very new to me. He explained how it works, and we tried my international card, but it didn't work. The officer explained that I needed to use a US card or cash. Later that day, I brought cash, and successfully requested the money order.

One employee in particular has a huge attitude problem and is very rude and condescending. She gave me a ton of attitude for not seeing the tiny "Wait here for next available cashier" sign, acted like I was stupid, and then she said my label was wrong and she was unwilling to print a new one. Every post office I've ever been to has looked at the address, entered it into the system, and printed out a label. Completely unhelpful and unprofessional.

Staffed by petty tyrants. Every time I have to use the counter rather than the self-service kiosk, it's hands down the worst part of my day.

Post office was amazing in a bad way. The lady at the counter did not get out of her chair to check for the seven international stamps requested. Threw four on the desk from a folder beside her and said “that’s all we have” After I asked “in the whole post office?” her colleague stepped up and said they have plenty in the back, and went and got some. What is going on with US Post…
(Kudos to her colleague for a professional and helpful attitude, criticism to management for allowing the initial behavior)

The clerk here Evelyn acts just the way she looks. I was standing in line and she was helping a lady and she was being quite friendly with this woman so I was t expecting her to completely turn her attitude with me. I never had to really pull that “card” but this clearly might have been the case. I didn’t approach her wrong, I was asking if she had tape for my box. I was just asking her how do I send this package back that my company wanted me to send back. She talks to me like I’m stupid and uses her fingers to point. Evelyn, let me tell you something, use all that energy you used on me to talk down on me and take care of yourself a little more. You can’t be that sloppy AND have that attitude all in one package.
