Recently I had the unfortunate experience of having a 1500$ delivery go missing while I was on vacation. This was the First time something like this happened to me, so I was extremely frustrated and worried.
Luckily I was able to get help from Linh at Ballard Annex. She was able to track down my package for me while I was out of town and even offered to hold the package until I got back home to pick it up.
Super big thanks to Linh and the folks that work there for the amazing customer experience.

I had a very frustrating experience with the Ballard Carrier Annex USPS location today. I lost a package after submitting a USPS address forwarding service request seven days before I moved. Despite this, a package was delivered to my old address and never got forwarded as it should have. When I contacted USPS, they assured me that it would be forwarded to the USPS branch near my new address. The Bothell USPS forwarded it to this location and told me to pick it up here.
I arrived at this location to retrieve my package, but the representative informed me they couldn't find it. To make matters worse, they suggested I either go back to the Bothell USPS or contact the seller to resolve the issue. This made no sense to me—why should I have to deal with the company that sent the item when the fault clearly lies with USPS?
I even called the Bothell USPS supervisor, Chris, who was very helpful and willing to assist. He wanted to coordinate with this location's supervisor to resolve the issue. However, the representative and supervisor at this location refused to speak with the Bothell supervisor and essentially dismissed me by closing the door and walking away. What a prime example of customer service at its worst.
I don't need to be told that the package isn't here—I need someone to take responsibility and resolve the issue with the other supervisor who was willing to help. Instead of just saying there's nothing they can do, why not investigate what happened and provide me with information on how to get my package? Suggesting that I contact the sender and try to get a refund is not a solution; it's an excuse.
The lack of accountability and care from the staff here is beyond disappointing. It's clear that this location isn't focused on helping customers—it's just a job for them, and they don't seem to care about solving people's problems. Terrible work ethic and abysmal customer service. I expect better from a service that's supposed to be about delivering packages and resolving issues. Would give 0 star if I could.

Kudo's to Linh Van and her team at Ballard Carrier Annex!!! They got my Permanent Resident Card back!!!
Full story: the priority mail sent by USCIS with my Green Card was never delivered. I filed a service request and went to the facility to check. Linh responded back later the day said she understood fully of the importance this card is to me that she would definitely help me with it. However, she and her team wasn't able to find my mail anywhere. She even communicated with my carrier Michael Lubrin who went back immediately to the neighborhood started looking for my mail street by street but with no luck.
I was almost lost all the hope until I got Linh's phone call next day around noon. It turned out that she had a stand up meeting with her team at the end of the day and print out multiple copies (one for each member) about the detail of my mail so the team would know what to look for. The team got here earlier in the morning and did a thorough search, then was able to find my mail.
I can't ever express my gratitude enough to Linh Van and the team at Ballard Carrier Annex. You can argue that it's their job to deliver the mails. True, yet I'd say they really went above and beyond in this case. Let's be honest, it's an old system and they are still doing a lot of manual sorting. It won't be a big deal if a mail is missing because it happens everyday across the entire country. I saw countless similar case online where people received little support from their local USPS staff. Hence, to me they are GREAT! Like I said to Linh in person when she handed over my mail: You just made my day!

We consistently get excellent service from the Ballard post office. Michael, our carrier, is always cheerful and provides us with prompt service with a smile. He is always helpful and shows us that he cares about efficient mail service. Linh, the Ballard supervisor, has proved to be a great resource to resolve problems. We appreciate the prompt and courteous service from the Ballard post office

I missed my package, and the people at the Ballard Carrier Annex went out of their way to meet me nearby. The package was refrigerated medication that was time sensitive.

Linh, a supervisor at this Annex, was very helpful in retrieving our held mail. The carrier on our route is new and so we had not received this held mail for several days. Excellent customer service!

Accidentally sent a package to the wrong address - USPS investigated Linh at the Ballard annex was on top of it and called me the second she had it. I walked over and had my package 1 minute later. Awesome stuff - I really thought I would never see my package again!

Unfortunately this Carrier Annex delivers our mail in Belltown. Our local delivery driver consistently delivers mail days late. It's pretty clear she does not deliver the whole route every day. But that isn't the worst issue. She refuses to deliver packages. She constantly marks them as, "Customer requested hold" or "No safe place to deliver". She doesn't even bring them on her truck. I've caught her in these lies multiple times, but she seems to keep getting away with it, even after formal complaints. This has been going on for over a year. After another failed delivery yesterday, the USPS Customer Service Representative stated it may be time to put in a formal complaint against her supervisor for failing to remedy this situation.

Terrible customer service. Left a sticky note to call them with no contact information provided. It was as if a kindergartener was trying to leave a message. When I finally found a viable number; I tried to call dozens of times; all of which went with no answer.
They stopped delivering mail, without explanation, without a contact to figure out why, and failed to answer the phone when attempts were made.
If you could give 0 stars for this division of the USPS I would.

Awful service. NEVER answer the phone. I finally went down there after visiting every other post office near me and the guy said he would call me the next day and never did. My package is lost and there is no way to get a refund and this business will waste your time.

Should be zero. No one answers the phone. No one is helpful. Don't use USPS.

I'm usually very satisfied with USPS, but sometimes I'll encounter a snag (especially with Japan EMS). I was having a problem getting a package and when I called the main numbers, no satisfaction was to be had.
I finally called the Ballard Annex and got Linh on the phone. She's the supervisor out there. She understood my problems and immediately took ownership of my issue. She took my information and promised to call me back. She called me back promptly! Not only that, she arranged for a carrier to bring it to my house the same day! I called at 3:00 pm and the problem was resolved by 4:00. Amazing! This was a job well done. I love the post office and I commend Linh for really going the extra mile for me. Good job!

I’d leave zero if I could. They broke and lost the key to deliver mail to my apartment building. When tracking a package, they would report it was undeliverable. I had used the automated phone line for two hours to finally report that I need someone to contact me (there’s not an option online for this due to how they reported the mail undeliverable) and the automated system does not recognize clearly spoken numbers and letters. My building manager tried to contact them for a month and finally was told they want a specific lock box for the new keys, at the manager’s expense. When going to pick up the mail held hostage, there is not proper signage to get help. When you’ve rang the doorbell about 10 times someone who looks like they’ve been awake for a week straight comes out and has you fill out your address on a tiny piece of paper, then HANDS YOU THE WRONG MAIL. You then have to start the whole ringing the doorbell over again, waiting forever to get the same person to find your mail.
