Delightful customer service, an adorable shop with lovely selection and great pricing on top of it all. I loved that there were seed potatoes and worms/bees for purchase on top of a full spectrum of really good and affordable soils. The plant variety isn't bad either with lots of interesting trees, veggies, herbs, and flowers. The staff were oh so friendly and kind, and are very knowledgeable. I've seen the cats on their socials but didn't find them (a great excuse to go back)!

Very friendly and helpful, informative staff?Beautiful selection of indoor house plants, including air plants. Parking was close, easy, & free. Large variety of outdoor plants, flowers, and shrubs. Abundant yard supplies. There are even pet supplies inside as well.

This independent nursery is a gem. The quality of plants is very high; especially compared to the big box stores. The plants are healthy, native to our area; and appropriate for urban gardens [i.e. growth size]. We also love the thoughtful curation of pots and other accessories that compliment the plants; to help you design a beautiful garden.

A gem in Beacon Hill! A surprising variety of plants in a relatively small space. I got some great advice for Washington varieties of vegetables that I grew from seed and they are doing spectacularly this season. My favorite part of visiting is the dogs.

While they have an incredible selection of plants and accessories, they are steeply overpriced. I’ve been here a few times to shop for pots. My most recent trip, I came across a pot that was styled similarly at Lowe’s for $30-40 less than their markup (it has the FROST proof sticker on it). Same goes for the plants. I’ve come across incredible prices for gorgeous plants at Lowe’s, Trader Joe’s, or even Safeway, in which UFG would be charging $60+ for something I found at $5-25. Same for the accessories, I got sphagum moss at a different store for slightly cheaper and in a larger bag. Additionally, there’s been a few times where I’ve also felt like the staff were a bit standoffish or awkward. No greeting or asking if I need help. Last time, I came when the store opened up at 10A. A much older lady demanded 5 more minutes and that I wait out front. Two ladies walked onto the property and they welcomed them, followed by finally telling me I could start browsing.Sure, it’s a small business and I believe in supporting whenever I possibly can, but I think I need to draw the line and just shop elsewhere.

Always happy to come here for gardening supplies, we've also gotten our Christmas tree here for at least 5 years. Staff are helpful and the quality of products is great!

Great customer service! Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Good selection of feed and plants. They were able to help me special order some Modesto feed even though it was sold out from their main suppliers.

Ya gotta hunt this one down. I went there after I called b/c they had a Japanes maple cultivar I was looking for. Crummie parking, okay no parking. Very helpful staff!
