Worst signing I've ever been to in my life. They over sold tickets for the venue they booked and KNEW it. Even announcing that we didn't have much time they allowed the first half of people to take their time, which left the last 20% to get 0 time to speak to an author we waited 2 HOURS to see. Absolutely ridiculous to make us pay for nothing. If I wanted just a signed book I wouldn't have gone to the signing, I would have just bought one and not wasted two hours. What I wanted, and was promised in the ticket, was a signing with the author that allowed two signed books and a picture. I only got one and not even a moment with the author. The author wasn't able to spare a glance up because the staff were rushing him through the last couple signings. I'm so disappointed and wish I could say this was the only time I've had a bad experience but they are so awful at hosting author signings. It's a shame it's the only place authors go around here

The older woman who works here is incredibly rude. I’ve been in multiple times and have been given the same poor treatment each time. From now on I would much rather walk all the way to the Ave bookstore than shop here.

Other than the one rude employee, I have had a great experience there when it comes to renting my textbooks.

Wouldn't recommend being rung out by the older woman at the check out stand. She called me over to be rung out but looked like she already hated me for being there. Before inserting my card, I had my card, in hand, NEAR the payment terminal but she was very adamant that I don't move my card while it was inserted. I said okay. While I still waited for the terminal to be ready for my card she still demanded that I don't move my card and swatted my hand away from the terminal like I was some fly. After I stated that I hadn't even put my card in yet, she glared at me like I had insulted her family. The other older gentleman cashier is nice but this older woman was very impolite, impatient, and rude. Avoid her.

Free parking in their parking lot fronting the bookstore with a validation from inside. Besides books and supplies large selection of University of Washington clothes and accessories. As expected, the apparel can be on the pricey side but they do have sale items on the floor above where the main apparel are displayed for sale.

This is a super convenient little bookstore satellite. I am sooo happy to have the Hub back. This bookstore obviously doesn't have as much variety as the Ave bookstore, and it doesn't have class texts, but its bigger than the bookstore at Odegard (I don't know if that one is reopening after construction is over). It's great to stop by and get some school supplies, or look some electronic equipment, or grab a snack, though the Etc has a good selection of snacks. The people working there are the same as worked at the Odegaard store, and they are very friendly and helpful.
