The good
They have a nice selection of well priced CDs, where you can find a cool jewel here and there. They also have some video games (mostly NES), DVDs, vinyl and Blu Rays that are somewhat reasonably priced as well thought look a little neglected. The focus of the shop seems to be hifi equipment, like used record players, speakers and cd players, which I think is very cool to have locally (we need more of these!). They owner seems knowledgeable of what he has and how it works, so overall the shop has all the elements that I would want to become a regular.
The not so good
As I entered the store with my daughter, we were greeted by the owner in a very friendly laid-back manner. However, as soon as he heard my accent, Mr. nice guy banished, and we were met with dead silence, awkwardness and tense one-word responses. A drastic and very noticeable change contrasting on how other customers were treated. For reference, there were only about other two people at the store, so not crowded at all or stressful. We put a few items over the counter that we wanted to purchase, and the owner asked several times if were sure, because "it amounted to $50 already", in a very noticeable tense and unpleasant demeanor (Why would one do that? What's the angle or possible benefit? Who's this helping? so many questions...). We still made our purchase and left with a sweet-sour taste.
I strongly believe 1st impressions can be easily mis constructed and I love supporting local businesses so we decided to come back and check if there were any new games or CDs my daughter and I would enjoy, or maybe something we missed last time. Let's try this again! Sadly, our experience was just as unpleasant as the first time, (you know when in western movies a foreign enters the bar and it all goes quiet?) so, we did not buy anything this once and I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon.
I read another review who seemed to have had a similar experience, so I guess this is what it is.

I've been here a bunch, and they've been super kind and helpful every time! Besides the great customer service, I love this store for a couple of reasons:
- Affordable gear servicing (they recapped my 60s Pioneer tube receiver for 80 bucks)
- Small but well-curated selection of vintage LP records
- Reasonably priced speakers from reputable brands like PSB, Klipsch, B&W
- In addition to selling turntables, they sell turntable parts directly (i.e. Dual headshell sleds, tonearm wires)
- You can sell/trade old gear to them with very little fuss.
On top of all of this, they have a resident dog that is super friendly and says hi when you visit. A good deal less pretentious than other home audio stores, with a ton of budget options -- but they have some fancy stuff as well.
5 stars, easy recommend.

wonderful store with very nice staff. mark was so friendly and took his time to put together a set (turntables, speakers, and pre-amp) that worked for my budget. answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel like my lack of knowledge was an issue. also helped me put everything into my car! love this shop and can recommend it if you’re looking for used equipment, thank you!

I am so glad I found this HI-FI shop! I have a very specific sound selection in mind every time I look for Hi-Fi gear. I found the gear I need it for my living room at a reasonable price and I also got schooled on new knowledge in regards to hi-fi set ups! How tube amps work and different speaker modifications as well as imaging. Very knowledgeable staff and you can tell they love music themselves! Shops like these are very hard to find, I will recommended this Turntables and trails to every one of my friends! I can't say enough about these guys, they are great and have great equipment!! And they also repair amps and speakers which is a RARE breed these days to have both of best worlds under ONE roof!!! ???

Thank you so much for the awesome help!!!
Took my B&O 1800 in for some help with alignment and Spencer fixed it right up in a matter of moments. Told me a couple things about it, then noticed my preamp I was using and asked if I wanted to hear the turntable with a better preamp. We tried a few different ones and each time the sound was so different. I ended up buying a used one from him that we both thought had the best sound. It was really noticeable!
Bought a couple speaker stands there too and some records. Place was amazing and great help. This dude obviously loves turntables and speakers.
Can’t recommend enough!

I had a wonderful experience working with Dave and Spencer. I came to the shop multiple times to learn more about what I would need to have a quality set-up to listen to vinyl records at home. Dave took the time to talk me through my options and figure out what would work best for my budget. Then he spent several hours setting up different combinations of receivers, amp/pre-amps, speakers, and turntables until we found the sweet spot. I will definitely be coming back to them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Came in just to poke around, ended up leaving with a really cool niche turntable from the 70s at a great price. Spencer was super nice, and has an awesome collection of TTs and amplifiers. You're bound to find something here you'll like!

This place is the best! Came in to buy a Turn Table, found one heavily discounted and it sounds amazing! I saved a lot of money checking this place out, Dave stopped what he was doing and showed me around and was extra knowledgeable; also had a great attitude. Huge selection of turn tables and records, multiple people to help you out. Also the inside was way bigger than I expected. Thank you brotha ?

I wanted to help my partner update our turntable setup and we had THE best experience imaginable at this store. The inventory of vintage audio pieces is huge and the guys working here have great insight into how to get the most bang for your buck in upgrading essential parts of your setup to make records sound as good as possible. Long story short after a lot of great advice we went home with a full system upgrade that actually made me cry when we put a favorite record on. I didn’t know a home music setup could sound this good!! This is a very fun store to just poke around generally, but we’ll be back whenever we have in depth questions about audio.
