Very friendly staff and great maintenance. Friends are living here since 2 years without any issue. You have 2 to 3 food junctions near by and very safe locality.Callbox doesn’t work that is the only issue i see.

Residing here has truly been a delightful experience. Apartments are well maintained and community is clean and safe. While the apartment complex is commendable, this 5-star review is specifically attributed to the outstanding individuals who contribute to making it one of the finest places to stay in Seattle. Credit goes to the exceptional team, with special recognition to Jamie and Harley. They have been super helpful throughout my stay and committed to go the extra mile to help the residents. Their welcoming and helpful nature is what makes the community stand out. Thanks for making True North an amazing place!?

Their friendly attitudes and willingness to help out with any query or issue have made a huge difference. They’re the backbone of this place, always there when you need them and making sure everything runs smoothly. And let’s not forget the amazing cleaning lady! She works magic around here, making the place spotless and welcoming every time.Thank you guys for making this place feel like home sweet home!❤️❤️❤️❤️

This apartment complex is decent but not for the price. You can find similar if not better quality apartments for less near by. There is also a really busy road right behind the building which is something of a problem if you want to open your windows. Also, I had the worst move out process from this place. Holland Residential got the move out charge wrong multiple times and double charged my lease cancellation fee which was something I had to battle. The advantage of this place is a nice rooftop, decent but pricey apartments, and parking, but you have to pay extra.

One of the worst property companies I have ever lived in and dealt with. They hire rude and unhelpful leasing staff in their buildings. A couple of my packages went missing and when I asked for one of their help she told me no and I quote "okay bye thanks." Then I come to find out fed ex left my package with her! She stole my package! I lived in the building for 2 years; ever since the first month I had landscapers coming to my patio to clean/pull weeds. One month I notice the weeds are getting a little wild so I go to ask the offie when the landscapers will be getting to my apartment and they tried to gaslight me, telling me there has never been any landscapers and the patio is the tenets responsibility. And sure enough, literally 3 days later the landscapers are back on my patio cleaning. They do not even know what is going on in their own building!! The rack/shelf in my closet fell because it wasn't installed properly the first time and it took the maintenance guy 3 months to come fix it. My couch was my closet for 3 months!! The light in my bathroom was never fixed, even after talking with the maintenance guy multiple times and multiple reports. For the amount of money they charge to live here, I should've been getting immediate help/service with these problems. When I moved out, of course they tried to nickel and dime me. They didn't even tell me about the fees they would be charging, just thought I would give them more money without even looking. Of course I called and had to fight to get them removed. They also sent me some random guys billing statement instead of mine, to which I'm assuming he probably received mine and now has all of my personal information. Great job! I love being a woman knowing a random man has my address! If possible, I recommend avoiding any of the buildings this company manages.

Touring experience was very bad. Leasing agent did not seem interested in discussing anything or answering my questions, price randomly increased $100 per month over night when I scheduled to tour the next day. Also did not get a reply to my email. Not a good sign for management. I walked out without viewing the unit due to the hostile vibes and exorbitant overnight rent hike.

I am not currently a resident (yet) but I will be! I have been searching for a few weeks now and found True North to be a super awesome place to call home. When I came in for my tour I was pleasantly greeted by Harley who was not only kind but knowledgeable about the units as well as about the surrounding neighborhood. During my application process Harley has been so easy to work with and super responsive, both of those things make this process so much easier. Come check it out (but wait until I get my unit first :) )

Bryce the manager and Jamie the maintenance man are the super-stars of True North, both always responsive and very very helpful. The building is modern, has a great package room and Amazon locker and a gorgeous roof-deck with both inside and outside space (and a great view). Good location and close to the lake.

I was here for 1 year and this place did not meet my expectations. Even though this complex is new it felt very old and not well maintained. There were numerous maintenance issues including losing hot water a few times during my stay, thin walls, pot smoking/partying neighbors. Apartments are poorly laid out with limited natural light. The area around is somewhat dangerous and there are no grocery stores.

Outstanding property manager (Bryce) and maintenance manager (Jamie). During my lease, Bryce was always responsive, respectful, quick, and welcoming. Jamie was always knowledgeable, effective, and genuine.Bryce was always happy to concisely and professionally address any questions in person, via email, or over the phone. He hosted entertaining community events for the residents as well. I have referred a close friend to live here who also loves the property/management team.As far as the property itself, it’s location, amenities, and price are prime. Great, safe environment. Never had any problems with the parking garage or mail/package room. Friendly residents as well. Their rooftop was great for cooking, tanning, and playing pool.

I’ve lived here for just over two years. Management was great until recently. The current team doesn’t even respond to emails. While I understand that it probably takes some time for them to get up to speed, communication is pretty important and to completely ignore residents on multiple occasions is not great service. I noticed all of the recent reviews include frustrations with management.

Perks and amenities of this apartment complex are the prime SLU location, the rooftop deck, the multiple fitness facilities, the in-house Amazon lockers, and electric car chargers which are located in the secure parking garage! That being said, the main fitness room is undergoing renovation and has been for over a month with no clear completion date in sight. The electric car chargers, according to what the assistant manager told me, have not yet been installed. It is also worth mentioning that while the management staff are nice people, they have consistently conducted themselves unprofessionally in ways that have made my residency unnecessarily stressful; including but not limited to making errors in legally binding contracts with the expectation that I correct them on their behalf. Furthermore, me and my move-in crew waited downstairs in the lobby on move-in day (a day everyone knows is already stressful enough) for a total of 2 hours to acquire a working elevator fob despite having reserved an elevator in advance and having paid all of my due expenses in advance. We watched other incoming residents move their entire truck loads or items in before even being able to begin to unload ours. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. Lastly, beware because they will try and scam you by overcharging you for things (i.e. additional cat rent is $15 per month and they tried to charge me $25 per month, which is what they charge for dogs) so be sure to do your research!Provided that none of that matters to a potential resident, I highly recommend leasing an apartment here. The views of downtown from the roof are fantastic and the high ceilings are lovely!P.S. I recommend insisting everything be communicated in writing. Their phone calls are confusing and unsatisfactory.

Unit: 4/5 the price was high but my unit was goodAmenities: 3/5 they have some good amenities but many things have been “waiting on parts” for literally two years. I know covid is partly to blame, but it’s still an outlier. Also one of the selling points is the rock wall, and I was explicitly told they update the routes frequently but they did not update it once in 2 years.Staff: 2/5 Most of the staff is new and does not know how anything. The most common response, if there was a response, was I don’t know let me ask. There has been a lot of churn over the last 2 years and many of the people I saw originally are gone. That being said Harley, in the office, and Jamie, the handy man, are exceptional! They are both increasingly friendly, responsive, and helpful.Fire alarms: 0/5 There were so many fire alarms in the past. This seems to be getting better but nothing is worse than having to grab your pets at 4am for a false alarm.

I have been living here just under 2 years and would like to share some experiences that I have so far.1. The location is great which is the main reason why I have been living here.2. The maintenance is responsive and get things done quickly.3. The previous management has always been helpful and responsive and it was worth to pay that money to stay in this building. (Jamie, Sean, Tanis, Alex, Bryce). They were great. But the recent changes in the management have been so disappointing. Although Bryce (manager) himself is so responsive, but the new staff members are more like interns. Whenever I have approached them during the last 4 months, the answer is either "I do not know", " I am sorry" , basically nothing helpful. Last time, I received an email from one of the staff members saying that there is a letter for me to pick up, and I emailed them back asking whether my friend can pick it up for me, but never got a response back. Today, I checked back with them in person, and the answer was "I am sorry, probably it was sent back", but I specifically mentioned that I emailed the person the same day and never got a response. But their answer was "I am sorry". Again, no solution.I think those interns were needed to get trained better to be able to work in a customer-facing job and need to learn how can they provide solutions to customers even with limited sources.Overall, because of my recent experiences, I think the service level does not provide the right value for the money that I am paying for. Thanks,Jamala Talibova

TL; DR Avoid this place especially when you tour remotely. There is a restaurant chimney located at the building north, and they use the fireplace at least 8 hours a day. You could smell the smoke even on the patio at 8th floor. And this apartment has the most irresponsible leasing office. Complete story Moved here from California, so we could only toured this apartment remotely. The leasing office simply hided that there's a restaurant vent adjacent to the window and the balcony. The restaurant uses the fireplace from 10am to 10pm. Not possible to open the window because of the smoke. Since I have asthma, we talked to the office hoping to move to any vacant unit and we're willing to pay more. They pushed back and kept saying no issue was found. Well, how do they find the issue if the office member only stood in the hallway and refused to come into the unit? Thanks, we ended up buying a house. BTW, the only star is for the maintenance guy.
