I am a transgender woman, so there are some extra things I look for in healthcare. After my first visit, which was 2 hours, I felt like I had made a new friend, a doctor friend who cares about my health and listens to my concerns. Dr. Johnson is very kind and personable and treated me with utmost respect. She is still learning about FTM transgender care, but she is 100% on board and supportive, and seems to really seem to want to get up to speed on everything for my best care. The small clinic felt more intimate rather than sitting in a huge lobby waiting with everyone else. My appointment was on time so I wasn't waiting a long time. One unexpectedly nice aspect was when I was done, I was just allowed to stay and rest after my blood draw, and I was free to go whenever. I didn't have to come by the front office to schedule my next appointment (I can do so from the app) or to pay anything (no copays.)I saw many of the 5-star reviews and wondered if there wasn't some "please rate us" incentive going on. I truly think that the service provided here is incentive enough to go and post a rating!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Johnson for about a decade now and followed her from her practice at Qliance even though west Seattle is out of my way (I literally will travel from Kitsap to see her). I recommend her to literally everyone who is looking for a new doctor. She’s smart, highly competent AND compassionate which is in short supply these days. She’s helped my mom and I in measurable ways and has been so helpful in getting through tough times of the pandemic and life events.

I switched my primary care to Trivas Family Medicine over a year ago and am grateful everyday that I did! Through Dr. Johnson, I now have an incredible partner in my life-long health. She has been so supportive with helping me to improve basic but important things like diet and exercise, or more specific issues like supplements to address anemia and related fatigue, mental health challenges, etc. I am relatively young and healthy, so I wasn't sure if trying to find good primary care was actually that important but after this past year of really stellar care, I can say without a doubt that a quality PCP is life changing!Dr. Johnson is always incredibly responsive via the message portal and gets back really quickly with responses and lab results. Speaking of labs, she is happy to bill your insurance for those out-of-clinic items like a pap smear or blood test; that's been super easy and 100% covered. One of the most impressive things (besides her geniune care for her patients!), might be that I have never had to wait more than a day or two for an in-person appointment. It is absolutely night and day compared to every other provider I've had in my adult life. Thank you Dr. Johnson!

Dr. Johnson is kind, empathetic, and genuinely invested in the health of every patient. As someone with ADHD, PTSD, and ASD (autism spectrum disorder) I appreciate the time she takes to make sure I understand my options and discuss them in detail so I am comfortable with proceeding with treatment. I’m also overweight and she has never said “Just lose weight” or anything close to it. I’m losing weight because the underlying issues are being addressed. Truly the best physician I’ve ever had.

I appreciate the human nature of Dr Johnson and her understanding that her patients are people, taking the time to work with them, and share her vast medical experience. Most importantly, she has been a true health advocate for myself and family providing compassionate care, offering to do additional research and, work hand-in-hand with specialists across the PNW medical system to create treatment plans to find complete solutions, just not answers to symptoms.

Dr. Courtney R. Johnson, M.D. is the best doctor we've found in our years living in Seattle. She listens, is up-to-date, takes her time, is organized, kind, empathetic, has a great bedside manner and responds quickly. She saved my husband's life with her thoroughness and care. She was an advocate for him the moment he was diagnosed. So thankful for having the best doctor in decades right here in West Seattle.

Can’t speak highly or recommend Dr. Johnson enough. She is not only very knowledgeable and attentive but she is also incredibly kind. I’ve been a very happy patient of hers for almost two years now.

No better or worse than anywhere else. I have a chronic ADHD issue, asked about it before I showed up, then got told to 'pay more attention' and it wouldn't be as bad.Just Google your symptoms. You'll get a better response.

I recently found Dr Courtney Johnson's practice and am so grateful. For the last few years I've been pushed from one primary care physician to another, never feeling listened to, never being able to get an appointment in a timely manner. Her low monthly fee is an incredible value in today's health care system. I get almost immediate access to care, lengthy appointments (what a luxury!), and professional, personalized care. I highly recommend Dr Johnson and the the direct primary care practice for great care and peace of mind.

I came to Dr. Johnson in the middle of an illness that had been misdiagnosed and she has been extremely intuitive and thoughtful in figuring out what is going on. She takes the time to fully listen to and understand my symptoms to provide an accurate diagnosis and works incredibly hard to connect with other specialists in order to get the full picture as well as being up-to-date on her research. Her medical assistant Tara has also been awesome about helping get documents forwarded quickly and even getting a hold of a specialist I was having a hard time connecting with. I'm so grateful that I found Dr. Johnson when I did - she's been an advocate for my health and has always been available to answer questions as well as having open availability for appointments. Her experience, expertise, and personal care are invaluable in the middle of a chaotic medical system that often doesn't have the time for individuals. She's truly one-of-a-kind!

Dr. Johnson is the best doctor I have ever had, and I have had many. Her compassion and skill are apparent in how well she utilizes the direct primary care model to ensure that I get the best care for my many problems. Other providers in my care team have often remarked on how knowledgeable and comprehensive she is.

I haven't been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for long, but the care I have received so far has been very attentive and comprehensive. Her system of medicine is a refreshing break from traditional structures, too; you never feel rushed and have time to talk about every health issue you're having rather than cherry picking one or two things to speak about per visit. She strives to look at every option available while also paying attention to you as an individual and adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Absolutely recommended!

Dr. Johnson is the best physician I've ever had. I've been benefitting from her wisdom and sound counsel, along with regular communication, tests, and deep concern, for three years now.I love having the telephone visits, and even better when I can get to the office in person. I send her messages asking for prescription advice, and give her updates on my treatments for nerve, back, and hip pain, and she adds them to my chart, and responds right away. She is stellar at reminding me of my annual exam due date, giving me referrals to specialists when needed, and very importantly, she reviewed in detail, my ENTIRE medical record when I started seeing her. No one has ever done that before. And it was a big file. She knows more about my physical condition, and remembers it, than any physician ever has.I highly recommend her. I'm very grateful to her, and appreciate her patience with my often elusive symptoms.

Our family (myself, wife and daughter) have been patients for almost 2 years. The care we get is top quality and we think of Dr. Johnson as a healer not just a family doctor. Her big picture approach to each of our health makes us feel safer and healthier. She takes the time to share, inquire and respond as much as needed. We’re truly thankful to be in her care.

Where to start.I started my journey afraid, exhausted from the thousand times I had to sit down and give my medical history to a complete stranger and be rushed through and out. When I came to Dr. Johnson I was completely demoralized and in a low that was completely unmanageable. For an MD, I knew I was going to be pushed in and out, prescribed something generically acceptable to the mountain of health issues I had, and sent on my way.Instead, I was met with a TWO HOUR consultation appointment. Where my entire medical history was heard, heeded, and considered. Then, a start to a journey began. I've been a patient of Dr. Johnson for well over 3 years, now. I have been seen and spoken to and treated as a human being the entire way, I've been told hard truths I didn't want to hear but needed to, I've been unquestioned in moments of total distress and revieved exactly what I needed in a very "say no more, you know you and this part of you" process, and I've been catered to very closely, at every turn.Concierge medical treatment is a luxury I never imagined I and my family would be able to afford. But we could here, and now several of my family members and friends alike are patients. She helps my insurance work for me in all capacities that it's capable, and her in office costs are very manageable. When. You can text your doctor in a crisis or an emergency and have solutions in hand day of, that means something. Especially in today's medical industry. That's why I gave 5 stars. Dr. Johnson isn't just my doctor anymore, she's a person I send a Christmas card to. And I'm grateful.Pardon for any typos above. I'm traveling at the moment.WarmlyRDMR
