My car would die almost every day, jerk while driving, and finally started to struggle to go up hills and drive generally. The folks at Nix's had it running like new the same day I brought it in. “Fantastic! Everything you look for in a mechanic: honest , knowledgeable and competitively priced. Brought my 2005 volvo for an oil change cabin aor filter and i have a busted quarter panel window. They fixed took care of everything in a timely manner and are hunting down a window for me because the dealers quoted them $500 bucks they think they can get it for 150$ or so.

“Had an inability to open my trunk after my battery died. Ive been working with Alyssa to help me to find a solution while I'm on a road trip to try to fix it. It appears that I will be needing to bring the vehicle in for service next Tuesday. Alyssa has been helpful and courteous. I will continue to provide additional review as this experience evolves. This is my first month of Maserati ownership. “I work next door to Chuck's, so the first time I needed service I figured it would be convenient. As with any new-to-me shop, I was nervous about getting overcharged or tricked into unnecessary services. But they have been timely, communicative, transparent, and helpful every time! Letting me know what services are essential and which can wait, patiently explaining things to me, and getting work done quickly.
I was inspired to write this post after their kindest act yet - last week I punctured a whole hole in a tire that I had recently purchased from them. After scraping it on a curb. The hole was so bad that I couldn't even drive the car the two blocks over to their shop. Eric left his desk immediately to come and help me inflate the tire, and when that didn't work swapped out my wheel for the spare so I could drive it the rest of the way. They got a new tire ordered on warranty, which came in first thing Monday. It took 3 minutes to swap on and they sent me on my way!”

“I needed to fix my car’s A/C during the height of hot Seattle weather. Curtis at Acme Auto got me in within a few days of calling and did a phenomenal job fixing things up. The cost was on the lower end of what other shops were estimating as well.
Moreover, when I came by to pick my car up, I asked whether he could take a look at some issues I was having with my check engine light and wiper fluid sprayers. He agreed to do so without any hesitation. He fixed the sprayer issue I was having and informed me of the codes affecting my check engine light for free.

Shane is a fabulour Ferrari Ambassador. He is very knowledgeable, patient, understanding of the complexities that can go into this type of purchase and has excellent follow up. My transaction was also an out of state purchase, which isn't the funniest thing to to, but Shane, Hunter and the rest of the Team have done an excellent job.

“Ed (and I'll call him Uncle Steve - who is sometimes there to just help family out at the shop) went above and beyond. My car was initially acting up with 3 indicator lights showing up on the dash when I brought it in. By the next morning when Ed took at a look at it, only the check engine light was on and my car was running fine after multiple test drives. He gave me the list of computer codes and recommended I take it to the dealership because it was likely that the errors could be due to recalled parts. He knew the dealership would need to make those repairs for free which is why he suggested I check with them first. I really appreciate his honestly!On a side note, Ed (whose brother, Ron, started the business years ago) and Uncle Steve have been part of the community for decades. It's clear they really care about Skyway and the South end in general. Just one more reason to continue supporting this local business!”
