“I stopped here while visiting Seattle in July 2022, and it was such a perfect little store. They sold cute little plush donuts and pastries at a reasonable price. Definitely a must do!!!”
“Happened to be in the neighborhood and noticed this gem! My boyfriend was super excited to find another book for his collection, while I rummaged through a box of random toys and found a Pokemon belt that fit me perfectly. Gotta check in on this place periodically for more finds!”
11AM - 9PM
4341 University Way NE, Seattle“Walked in here on a whim during a trip to the neighborhood, found a puppet I wanted since I was a kid.
A puppet, yeah like an actual puppet, you stick your hand in it and everything. It was a one time production item to celebrate the release of a JRPG on the PS1 back in 1998
A limited release puppet, for a random game from 30 years ago and they bad it, they had it for a price that wasn't even bad. I nearly had a heart attack.
I grew up in poverty so I could barely afford games, let alone any merchandise so I never thought I'd ever see this stupid puppet in person, let alone own one but yeah, now he's on my shelf and I feel incredibly grateful I happened to just come across it
Good game store, excellent collection of stuff without bullsh** prices, much love”
11:30AM - 7:30PM

“Here for the Jellycat! One of the biggest store in the US that sells a variety of Jellycat. Of course, this store is well established and make you feeling like comfortable when shopping here.”
“They have a lot of different games and gaming systems, along with whatever accessories you need, and all for a really good price. They have a 7 day refund policy if you are not satisfied with what you bought, as long as it's still in good shape. Definitely will get more of my business. The guy at the front counter was very helpful and friendly.”

“I love to work with local small businesses for my company, and this store is one of my favorites to support. The staff and owners are kind and considerate. The product selection is wide and diverse. From both a personal and professional standpoint, Clover Toys is a great option for local, quality toys.”
10AM - 6PM
4740 California Ave SW, Seattle“Nice selection of educational and fun for kids toys. There are no action figures or more mainstream toys. There are legos and cars, but no marvel action figures and such. Good place for birthday presents.”
“I absolutely love taking my kids to this place. The selection of toys is amazing. There's also a kids' hair salon in the back, and the hairdressers are so good that my kids actually enjoy getting their haircut and sit still.”
“There's a great variety of new and used children's toys and clothing, some toys are out on display and for kids to play with. There's a consignment/donation option as well, with potential for store credit. Check out their Instagram for details.
Prices are sometimes cheaper than a regular store, but often in the same range. Is it worth it? If you want to support a local small business, recycle good clothing, and get many things that are overall better quality (or vintage) for a similar price to what you might spend at a department store, then I'd say why not?
Really friendly as well.”
10AM - 6PM

10AM - 5PM
4736 California Ave SW, Seattle“I was so tired of picking out shoes for my kid, and having him reject them after a couple wears—even when we tried them on in the big box stores! An employee at this shop was so helpful in walking my neurodivergent kid through all his options, and answered his questions and also pointed out what was on sale. We found a great pair and he loves them, even calls them his lucky sandals. 100% will shop here for my kids footwear from now on.”
“Still one of the best bookstores around.
Lots of books and magazines, well maintained facility, knowledgeable and friendly staff and an in store Starbucks makes it my most visited place around.”
“So delighted to find this Spawn comic there. I had forgotten how joyful it is to peruse a comic book store. There are just so many comics that I had simply forgotten about and delighted to discover again. I can spend hours here. The staff seems pretty friendly, too.”
10AM - 6PM
1902 Post Alley, Seattle“I visited here for a gift for my kids while visiting Seattle, and I was very pleased with the options. The shop owner greeted me as I walked in and was very helpful in helping me to find a great toddler shirt for my son. I was surprised how hard it was to find a toddler shirt in the area, but this store had both a decent variety as well as cute options. I left very pleased with my purchase and my son wears his Seattle shirt as often as he can! I highly recommend this store.”
“I love, love, love City Mouse! The quality of all of the items I have bought is excellent. The price is very reasonable. Everything is so much cuter in person. The customer service is great. The order comes wrapped so special. Thank you City Mouse. The great grand and parents are quite pleased. ? ? ?”
“After not shopping here for 5 years, I stopped in & was greeted by the nicest employee ever. I had questions about a baby carrier, and they jumped in to help me right away. Now of course we have the best baby carrier, for such a good price. Definitely will be back!”
“One of the best Pokemon stores I’ve been to. Really big space with a lot of different sets to buy singles from. Staff is friendly and patient. Prices are not that bad compared to online. I’m happy to pay a little more to support a local store.”
